Villa I Barronci is a lovely resort in a stunning location, with friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere. The private parking is excellent – especially with EV charging available, which was a big plus. However, a few things could use improvement. The air conditioning was very loud and didn’t cool the room properly, and the TV system feels outdated – a refresh here would definitely enhance the guest experience. What I really didn’t understand: there’s no pool bar service during the day. Drinks are only available after 5:30 pm when the restaurant opens. On hot days, that feels like a missed opportunity – for both guests and the business. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the hospitality, but with a few small updates, this place could go from great to exceptional.

We received a very warm welcome, the room was lovely, spacious and cool. The views from the terrace while having breakfast and sitting by the pool were amazing. The buffet breakfast vas varied and bountiful.|Will definitely plan another trip, maybe for longer.

Only great thing about this place is the scenery and the restaurant, which is a separate entity from the Villa. We booked a 4-person suite in a separate Villa from the main building. Per the photos on the website, we were supposed to have two separate rooms, one with a king bed and one with a sofa-bed. The room given to us was just one large room with a twin-sized couch and a makeshift twin-sized rollaway. We were two separate couples and therefore wanted two separate rooms. When I approached the front desk with this issue, they explained the photos online only represent 1 of the 6 rooms of the room type booked, and we should have told them we wanted two separate rooms when we booked. Having the pictures of only 1 of your rooms but selling the other 5 under these photos is very misleading. On top of this, the AC wasn't working properly until the morning of check-out, so we were all over-heating, and the toilet was leaking water onto the bathroom floor. There was a drain between the toilet and the bidet, which makes me think they know this is happening. I stepped into a large puddle of water when I used the bathroom in the middle of the night. The Front Desk was very kind when I mentioned these issues to them and gave me a 50 euro refund, but when I asked to speak with a manager they were conveniently out of the office and wouldn't share the persons email or name with me. I work in the hotel industry and therefore rarely post bad reviews because I understand things happen, but due to all of these issues and the fact we paid 400 euros/night, it was a pretty terrible stay. On top of everything, a family friend booked a room the morning of our stay and only paid 100 euros, which is great for them but aggravating for us to hear. We might come back for dinner because it was superb but never staying at this Villa again.

This was our second but last time staying here. They placed us in a room right next to the elevator on the first floor. When you get off the elevator, our room is immediately to the left, so we heard all the guests coming in and out and talking loudly during the nights. The guests above us were also super loud, we could even hear them when they dropped something on their floor, as if they were right next to us in the same room. The bathroom was also very small. If you are sitting down on the toilet your knees would hit the wall. I am only 148 cm but had trouble fitting. The shower was also horrendous because it was a waterfall and would splash water everywhere if you accidentally turn it on too high. Otherwise, the water streams down very hard on your body as if someone was pouring buckets of water on you. The room was overall stuffy, I woke up in the middle of the night twice in a row because I was sweaty. It is March and cold outside but somehow the room had no airflow. I opened the windows to let air in but you can hear guests coming and going loudly. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant the first night because we enjoyed it when we stayed here in 2023. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. My husband got the “chef’s gnudi” and it was very soupy and only came with 4 pieces of gnocchi. I got the pork wrapped in bacon and it was greasy with the bacon and the pork was dry. The server also only came to our table twice, once to take our order and then to take our plates away. I know they don’t work for tips but I expected some customer service from a waiter. He also had someone else check us out at the end who took forever to get the bill. My husband left a negative review for the restaurant the same night and the hotel staff confronted him at breakfast the next day. They didn’t do anything, just said sorry, so why even confront us? I hope they change their menu choices at least. We won’t be back at the hotel, as our experience was not enjoyable. Edit: Not a good response to my negative review. You would have upgraded me? For an extra charge? For free? What about doing something now?

Beautiful spot, off the beaten path, nice size room (double annex), well kept pool and property, lots of parking, renting a car is a necessity as it is not close to anything. Small fridge in the room, restaurant on site (reservations required). We lost ac one night, that’s why 4 stars instead of 5, however it was fixed as soon as we called.

In Villa Barronci we had our best stay in Italy. The main house is very beautiful and the garden is amazing with the little streets defined by bushes of rosemary, thyme, sage, and other perfumed greens. The heated swimming pool also looked perfect with a view of the valley. I cannot comment on the rooms in the main structure because they gave us a room detached from the main house which they called a "tree house." This was a perfect room for us. Very quiet, with no adjacent neighbors, a fantastic floor-to-ceiling window with a great view, and last but not least, a very comfortable mattress. I'm very picky about mattresses and I don't like what you very often find in Italian hotels: a queen bed made by two single beds joined together. I hate to feel that sort of canyon in the middle. This was just perfect for my relaxation. The restaurant "Tiberio a San Casciano" was also excellent, where we had great breakfasts every morning with plenty of choices, and a spectacular dinner.

Firstly, the location is stunning. Right in the tuscan hills, the view from the treehouse room we booked was idyllic. Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. The pool area is beautiful and the facilities are excellent. Room was very clean and had air conditioning, mini fridge and hairdryer. The location is quite remote, meaning a 30 minute walk into the local town to shops/restaurants. We hired a car so wasn't an issue for us, but we did also walk into town so it isn't too bad if you are able to do so. The food in the restaurant on-site (no longer affiliated with the hotel) can get busy so definitely book if you intend to eat there. There is no shop or anywhere to get essentials in the villa, meaning water etc. has to be bought from the bar and can be expensive. Breakfast was delicious, loads on offer from homemade pastries and cakes to continental meats/cheese and waffle machine. However the bar lunch menu during the summer months is very limited and expensive for what it was (€10 for a very basic tuna sandwich with no salad etc.) so I would recommend going out for lunch or bringing in some food from the shops in town.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this villa with its hot swimming pool overlooking the stunning Tuscany vineyards. The service was impeccable, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience throughout our visit. In the morning, we were greeted with a delightful breakfast that offered a variety of delicious options to start the day right. Our room was spacious and exceedingly comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. Dinner was a highlight, featuring perfectly cooked steak paired with exquisite local wines, capturing the essence of Tuscan cuisine at its finest. This villa not only met but exceeded our expectations, offering a slice of paradise with every detail thoughtfully catered to. Truly a top-notch destination for anyone seeking a memorable and indulgent getaway!

Yelp
The view is worth the stay alone. We have been traveling for the last 10 days and have stayed in heavy tourist areas. This was very refreshing to be here and away from the typical tourist hot spots. We are using this opportunity to decompress for a few days and relax. This is my first night and I can not wait to enjoy the rest of my stay.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and can't recommend it enough. We wanted to stay somewhere a little bit outside of Florence because we were visiting Rome, here, and Positano, so we were hoping this would be the more relaxing part of the trip after being in the city of Rome. That is just what we got, this Villa is absolutely beautiful and the restaurant attached is great as well. That being said we did choose to rent a car for these 3 days of our trip and I feel that is definitely in your best interest to do if you're staying here but also want to see wineries around the area and Florence. This place is about 30 minutes outside of Florence which we made that drive twice, once to explore the city and once to do a guided wine tour that left from Florence. The sunset here was beautiful, the room was clean, and the staff was so nice. We got massages in the spa as well and they were incredible. If you want to feel like you're experiencing the beauty of Tuscany I would recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The views are amazing, the staff is kind, patient, and caring. The food is exceptional and each room is beautifully decorated and well cleaned. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are devine. The views from your room alone are enough to make it worth it but the views from the pool and dining room are exponentially more beautiful and will make this the perfect spot to stay. Definitely make sure to look into transportation to and from as it is outside of Florence and the travel to get here is a bit pricey. Well worth it though!

Yelp
The place u would like to Be, to take a rest, or maybe a wonderful date in Italy! In San Casciano in Val di Pesa, the very nearby of Florence, u can taste the spirit of Italy. With charme, ospitality, and well cooked food. Here u'll find nature, silence, good wine and even a little but good SPA. Alessio, the resident chef, Will Be the best chaperon to find the real taste of Florence and Tuscany too. Francesco Will lead u in order to find out which are the best new (and economic too) wine product u'ld never seen. Good even for marriage!

Yelp
We stayed at Villa I Barronci for 5 nights in May of 2014. The Villa is on a beautiful property near San Casciano and about 30 minutes away from Florence. The accommodations are lovely and the staff is absolutely wonderful. The breakfast they serve every morning is fresh and delicious. The dinners we ate at our hotel were some of the best in Tuscany! The restaurant was actually quite busy most nights, so others must be catching on! The villa is in a great area if you want to explore local Pisa, Siena, Livorno, etc. We had no complaints and would love to come back again soon.
