Villa Ioanna

This is an excellent place to stay. The location is perfect, and the service was amazing. The overall cleanliness and quality were also impressive. Definitely recommend.

We felt very welcomed by Ioanna upon check-in and overall had a great stay in the one-bedroom apartment. The location was fantastic, a street away from the centre of Potos. The private carpark was also very convenient. The rooms are serviced daily - towels changed, bed made. I will say that when we entered the room at check-in, it was dirty. Smudges from little hands and saliva all over the bathroom door that had not been cleaned from previous patrons, the floor was dusty and had not been mopped, benches near the sink and stove were dirty. As a mum of a one-year old who is walking but still puts her hands on the ground and in her mouth, her feet were black after walking on the floor after only 10 minutes (before we even had the chance to bring our luggage upstairs). Ioanna kindly cleaned the bathroom door after we raised it with her, assuring us the apartment is cleaned daily. We bought a mop, bucket and detergent and mopped the floor because we would have “had to wait til tomorrow for the cleaner” and I just wanted to make sure it was clean, so better I did it myself. The water was filthy, so I’m glad I chose to clean it. Ideally, for accomodation, you need at least a large double/queen bed if that is the only bed offered in an apartment. We are small builds, but my husband and I struggled to sleep on the bed this size. Overall facilities were good.

Rooms with kitchenette and AC, excellent position in Potos. Also has private parking. The rooms are cleaned daily and bed sheets changed every 2 days. There is also a big terrace aside the villa, so that in the rooms is still quiet if there is a small party. Our group had a great stay for one week!

I usually don’t post reviews, but this time I will. We stayed here 5 years ago, everything was ok and that’s why we decided to come back. This year was a pure nightmare. We stayed in a room for 6nights, with no AC because it was not working. After a long trip, we entered in a room where it felt like sauna with a 3 years old child with us. Even if we told the host about the issue from the very first moment, and apparently efforts have been done to fix it, in the end we stayed in the worst conditions ever, paying the same price and without being offered the possibility to be moved in another room, with the conditions we were expecting. In the last days the host came with a mobile AC, but guess what… it was not working properly at all, it should be filled with water all the time and it only amplified the sauna effect from the room. I wouldn’t advise anybody to go there and spend a few days with a child in this conditions. It seemed that there was no effective management at all. It was a waste of time and money!

Amazing place, very nice personal and very close to the beach and taverns. Cleaning is made every day, they advise us what to visit, were is the best food. What can i say more? Is a place to return, that's for sure. P.S. it looks 10 times better than you see pictures.

Super clean. excellent location - supermarket(2min), beach(5min), restaurants(5min); all withing walking distance. Quiet. large balcony. very good value for money.

This is the greatest place on island Thassos! This villa is the place that you looking for. I like everything there, the quitness, the cleanliness, the comfort, especially the garden and the most extraordinarry thing there is the people that managing everything. They are very, very polite and king. They have private parking for every single room. Thanks to all family members in Villa Ioanna. It is our pleasure for second time. Thank you!

Great place. :) Spotlessly clean, extremly nice hosts. :) Close to the beach and city centre. We will come again to the Potos and Villa Ioanna. :)
