I stayed at Villa Irini in Paros from 9–12 August 2025 and unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations, especially given the price of nearly £300 per night (€838.55 for three nights).
Some of the main issues were:
• No one was there to meet us at the ferry port, despite a transfer being pre-arranged.
• The first room we were given was very small and not fit for purpose.
• The bathroom light did not work, and the shower was poorly designed, fixed at waist height so we had to hold the shower head to wash properly.
• We found a hair in the yoghurt at breakfast, which was very off-putting.
• The air conditioning only worked when the key was in the slot, meaning the room was unbearably hot when we returned after a day out. The fridge also did not keep food cold enough.
• Staff booked taxis at the wrong times and the reception was not available outside of 8am–8pm, which made it hard to resolve issues quickly.
