Villa Jadran

Very close to the Beach, nice Apartments and very kind people. ||In a few Minutes you can reach the Beach and the City Center as well. Perfect if you do not want to rent a car.||There are many nice spots close to this apartment to visit. ||Thank you and best regards

Great host experience. For us, a great location with parking between both the city and the beach. Next to Villa Dana. Rooms are simple, nicely decorated, but comfortable. We had a balcony with seating and an outdoor kitchen which is perfect to keep heat out of the room. Two gas stations next door with coffee shop and pastries. Turn left out of hotel to Franca grocery store or for a 10-15 minute walk to sights and bars or nightclubs. Turn right to go downhill: 4 minute walk to a restaurant, 6 minutes to a pine forest grove for running, jogging, walking, and playground with workout equipment. Pass through the forest to the beach (7 minutes) and the seashore promenade.

Only stayed one night so we could catch the train the next day, but really great and would have been happy to stay longer. Clean and comfortable, excellent air con and fast wifi, slept really well despite being on the street side as no traffic noise could be heard in the room. Under cover balcony was good with seating, sink, fridge, stove top, dishes and bench top and a small line to dry your washing. Plenty of wardrobe space and bench top area in room. Bathroom small but clean with good water pressure. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English. Walking distance to beach, St Nikola Palace and Hram Svetog Jovana Vladimir Orthodox Cathedral (an absolute must see). 5 euro taxi from bus or train station. Opted for breakfast and at 3 euro each, with plenty to eat, really excellent value. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for one night after arriving on the train from Belgrade to Bar. The train got in 2 hours late so we arrived at the train station at approx 22:30. It was easy to get a taxi from the station to the hotel. Taxi should only cost approx 5 euros but we ended up paying 10 euros so make sure you confirm the price before you agree. It was only a 5-10 min drive from train station. ||The manager was there to greet us and he was very friendly and spoke great English. He showed us to the room and it was ideal for us for one night. Room had a double and single bed and a private bathroom. Bathroom was small but fine for us esp for one night. The water was hot. There were plenty of towels and there were toiletries in the bathroom. We didn't use the tv or wifi but it was available. The air con in the room was good. ||We left at 5am the next morning to go to the bus station to catch a bus to Dubrovnik. The manager ordered us a taxi the night before and the taxi was on time and cost 5 euros. ||All in all - great for us. We were only in the hotel for approx 6 hours and it was dark outside when we arrived and left so this review is a little basic!

We spent 3 nights at Villa Jadran. The place has everything you need. A comfortable and clean private room with ensuite bathroom. Abundant and hot water. Excellent wifi signal and speed. The rooms have a nice decoration and they have a fridge, an electric kettle and tv with satelite tv. Ohhh, and the split air conditioner! Very important during summer. The place is close to the center of Bar, and also very close to the main beach and promenade. You can walk everywhere from Villa Jadran. It's also very close from the Susanj train station in case you want to take one of the many daily modern trains to Sutomore or Virpazar to spend the day. Totally recommended.

We arrived late having come off the train and were wanting just the one night. The room was comfortable with 80's decor but very comfortable. It had a small kitchen and was very clean. The room had a nice view down to the beach. The wifi was very good. The owner was kind enough to drop us at the bus station for 3 euros.

Stayed here one night en route from Budva, as was taking the exceptionally scenic Bar to Belgrade train early the next morning! ||||Hotel was pleasant, functional, and very good value! Staff/owners very friendly and helpful! Wifi in rooms was excellent and TV had plenty of channels, many in English! Air con superb, especially at the height of summer! Would recommend and stay here again if in the area!

Clean rooms. Cheap and really good. Bathroom is a bit small, but that did not cause problem. Everything else was as I expected. Air conditioner worked well, hot water was present constantly. TV is a good one (reads NTFS usb devices, that's good for me, huh :) )
