Litteraly the worst experience ever!!!! We were stopped at the entrance by security who rudely insisted we needed a reservation, even though the venue was nearly empty and we've never needed one before. The receptionist gave false reassurance but didn’t follow through, and we had to push just to be let in. Once inside, the overpriced menu had very few options. We ordered hot drinks, only to be told 20 minutes later they weren’t available after 3pm, even simple ones like verveine tea and American coffee. We waited over an hour hoping someone would come back so we could order something else, but no one did. We left feeling ignored and disappointed. Rude staff, poor service, and unjustified prices.

The place is beautiful ,calm and aesthetic. But unfortunately the staff was sooo rude and arrogant, the server was so careless and acted indifferent, and the lady at the reception wasn’t nice neither when I called to ask if I need a reservation, nor when we were leaving. Definitely not worth the hype.

Villa Josephine in Tangier is absolutely stunning! The place exudes charm and elegance, with a beautiful atmosphere that feels both luxurious and intimate. I visited during my trip to Tangier and instantly wished I had stayed there. The history, décor, and ambiance make it truly special. It’s a perfect spot for anyone looking for a unique and refined experience in the city. I’ll definitely consider staying there next time!

Very disappointing experience. I was in the middle of placing my order when the waiter suddenly left to take another table’s order, leaving me waiting. This felt unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. His name was Othman

I recently stayed at this remarkable hotel villa Josephine, and it truly feels like stepping back into the 1800s. The service is among the best I have ever experienced, making every moment of my stay delightful. The hotel’s design is simply breathtaking and reminiscent of the grandeur of the Titanic era. From the intricate details in the decor to the overall ambiance, everything is perfectly executed. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel I have ever been to. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience luxury and history combined.

Villa Josephine is a beautiful and fancy place, no doubt about that. The setting is lovely, and it feels like a spot where you’d want to treat yourself to something special. But honestly, the experience didn’t live up to the hype—or the price. We ordered coffee, which was way overpriced, and expected at least the basics: a glass of water, napkins, or maybe a small treat like a cookie or a piece of chocolate. None of that happened. For what they charge, you’d think they’d pay more attention to the little details that make a guest feel welcome. The service was underwhelming, which was disappointing in such a high-end place. It felt like they relied on the charm of the location to justify the prices, but the overall experience just wasn’t worth it.

The setting is pretty but that’s about it. Hotel is a smoking hotel so it reeks of cigarette smoke. No one we encountered spoke any English. Service was curt. They gave us the worst room in the house - very small and dark. The air conditioning was poor and there are no showers - only bathtubs.

Take a step back in time at this hotel, which is nestled away from the bustle of the town and exudes a cinematic charm. It's a peaceful place, frequented mostly by French guests . During my visit, I ordered a coffee, which was priced similar to that of a city palace. Reflecting back, I wish I had engaged more with the staff, who appeared somewhat a bit « robotic » in their interactions. I will definitely go back to try the rooms and restaurant.
