Villa Justen Pousada

Comfortable little house right next to the town center, extremely nice and helpful hosts served us a unique breakfast each morning with fruits and local dishes, gave us advice about what to see and helped me out a lot when i was sick and even offered to take me to the hospital, so that I have no trouble communicating. Both owners speak english, the wifi is fast and there is a comfortable space for working above the breakfast area.

Thank you Cida and Lane for an amazing stay! The chalets were beautiful, really spacious and well designed with an extra comfy bed and sheets. We didn’t use the Kitchenette as the food offers in town were so good but it was still very handy to have.||Really nice shower, good working air-con and WiFi (apart from one day but maybe that was another guest downloading something). The 2 x hammocks on the porch were a lovey touch, and much appreciated after a long day of hiking.||The breakfast selection has to be the best we have had on holiday! Everything is freshly made (including the cheese and ham!) and super super tasty. Selections of bread, cake, fruit, juice, and a special dish each morning, like eggs, tapioca or an American/Brazilian fusion dish - we loved the potato cakes, peanut cake and homemade cheese + ham! Exactly the sort of breakfast you need before a day of walking :)||Thank you for being so accommodating with my egg intolerance and for adapting some of your amazing recipes!||The location was so peaceful and most importantly safe. After arriving from Rio and Salvador we were worried about safety but not once did we feel unsafe, the whole town is so friendly and crime free. There is a small shop close to the Pousada and from the bus stop it is about a 15 min walk uphill which we managed fine with backpacks. ||Thanks again for being the perfect hosts!

I went on a trip to Chapada Diamantina with my dad and we booked this hotel online. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised!||Owners are a brazilian-american couple, and they made everything to make our stay very special! They take care of each and every guest individually, and always do everything to please you! The treatment we got from the owners was something unspeakable of. We could feel their love for what they do and their passion for that place.||||The rooms are very spacious and clean. Also, all the cottages are equipped with a full kitchen, so you have the option to stay in for lunch, dinner or prepare some snacks. It wasn't our case, but I imagine if you have a big family it's great to save some money. ||||Location is bit far from downtown and on top of a hill, so be prepared to walk if you don't have a car. On the other hand, the distance from the village ensures tranquility and a good night's sleep. We loved how they are cultivating lots of trees on their land, so you really feel connected with nature, it's very relaxing!||||Breakfast is a serious thing here! Honestly one of the best I've had in my life, better than at many fancy and expensive hotels. Everything is homemade, fresh, made as you sit down to eat. We had a nice surprise with a different menu everyday, and everything was just delicious! Owner was very attentive and after day one she already knew the way I like things, so I never had to request again for what I wanted. A lot of the recipes were local, so I got to try things I've never seen before. From cakes to breads, fresh juice and even their cheese and cold cuts, they make everything on the spot and it all tasted great! I would go back just to eat everything again!||||Honestly, these are the most receptive people I have ever met, really impressive ... I super recommend this hotel and every time I go back to Lençóis that's where I'm gonna stay!

The rooms are great and you have also the possibility to cook small meals after a day of hard hiking in the Chapada. And if you don't fully recovered overnight, the astonishing good breakfast will help to completely recharge our batteries. With local specialties, the owners of this hostel always find a way to surprise during the first morning hours! Great place to stay and really close to the center of Lençois.

Attention by the host was amazing. Breakfast is also a great experience. The only downside is the street that gives access to the hotel, it's only a 50 meter long dirt road that's not well maintained, with a lot of potholes e irregularities.

Great place to stay in Lencois, the owners Cida and her husband were very helpful, he took us to our bus early on the last morning. She also provided lots of useful info on the city. ||The room was clean and had a decent kitchen with fridge, stove and cooking tools. Beds were comfortable and the room had air-conditioning. ||The breakfast each morning was wonderful, everything made fresh and they even catered to special dietary requirements. ||Overall a great place to stay in Lencois, highly recommended.

Unpretentious. Nice and rustic bungalows. Ours was equipped with a basic kitchen. The view of the garden is idilic. However, the staff's warmth is the best part, you really feel at home and the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had.

We had a great stay here! This place is owned by a sweet and helpful family!Portuguese and English work. Everyday we looked forward to getting up to have their fantastic breakfast!!! They also provide a good massage service(massage ayurvédica and relaxation with oil).
