Villa LA RUCHE

Beautiful house in quiet area but very close to port and beach for restaurants and walking. The room was very tastefully decorated and the bed and bedding was excellent. The pool area is a wonderful place to relax with good sun loungers. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Benoit was the most welcoming and kind host. We would definitely return and highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa La Ruche. Benoît was a warm, considerate, and exceptionally attentive host. The accommodation was spotless, peaceful, and offered exactly the kind of relaxation we were looking for. Should we find ourselves in the area again, we would be more than happy to return.

La Baule is an upmarket resort and Villa La Ruche is no exception to this rule. Situated on a very quiet road it is built around a courtyard containing a smart swimming pool. There is safe street parking outside the property. It is somewhere to spend a few days as you can relax by the swimming pool in the heat. Our room was on the ground floor with a door opening onto the courtyard as well as one to the lobby. It was quite small but well furnished. Indeed the furnishings here are quite unusual including historical books on La Baule. The house is situated within easy walking of the seafront and also the town centre - both with numerous restaurants. Breakfast is taken outside or in a conservatory. It is an enjoyable experience. The owner is very helpful with restaurants and things to do in the area. Overall an enjoyable experience.

There is a well equipped bathroom, which is clean and bright, a comfortable, large bed and it was so quiet. |The breakfasts were amazing, with fresh fruit and a large selection of fresh breads and pastries. Freshly squeezed orange juice just added to the fabulous experience. |The property has been so thoughtfully designed to give you a modern yet historical feel in all the right places. A fabulous renovation.|The villa is centrally placed for a walk to the beach, the port with all its restaurants as well as a slightly longer walk into La Baule (about a mile along the beach). |We absolutely loved our stay. Benoit is the most charming, affable and helpful host. Villa La Ruche is a beautifully designed and well-equipped house and the beds are super-comfortable. Lovely salt-water pool. I’d forgotten my swimsuit and Benoit offered to lend me one. However, La Baule is a good place to buy such things. So I did! Great location for easy walks to restaurants and beaches too.

We stayed 3 nights and we wished we could have stayed longer! It’s a beautiful house with an amazing garden in a very pleasant and peaceful area. It’s a short walk from the harbor and the beach and there are many restaurants and bars nearby. Very clean rooms with a comfortable bed. Great breakfast included as well with freshly made yoghurt and jams. Benoit is a super host and very responsive. Certainly ask him for tips for restaurants. They were definitely worth the trip!

We stayed in Atlantic for 3 nights. Lovely house and Benoît a great host. Very comfortable bed and so quiet. A short walk to the port and restaurants and a hop skip and jump to the beach. Lovely pool and garden. Only slight niggle was having to wait til 5 to check in on the first day.

We stayed here for a couple of nights but wished we had booked for longer. The house sits off the main roads so it is really quiet and parking is right outside the house. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the house and to our room. We had taken the ground floor room which has its own door to the garden, a couple of chairs and in a couple of steps you are at the pool. There is a small kitchen with coffee / tea and a fridge with cold water / fruit juice. We were given a map of the area and told where to go and what to see. ||The ground floor room is lovely, well decorated, and airy. The bed was lovely and comfortable. There is a big bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. A great nights sleep was had.||Breakfast in the morning was in the garden room overlooking the garden and pool. Started with freshly cut fruit and homemade yogurt with granola. Went onto bread basket with pastries served with jam and various accompanying jams etc. All washed down with choice of tea or coffee and orange juice.||Clearly there has been time and effort put into creating this oasis in the centre of town. But what makes it really special is the welcome you get on arrival and the hosts attention to detail. We'll be back and not just saying that.
