Villa Lario

Visited from a Friday to Monday in June. Elegant and luxurious location, attentive staff and an exceptional restaurant. We had a spacious lakefront room with terrace and fully air conditioned which was great as it was quite hot during our visit. Hired a driver from Milan airport as we didn’t want to manage driving and parking over the weekend. Toured the lake and visited Bellagio and Como by boat. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

Hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Como. Rooms are esthetic and comfortable though the light switches are a little odd. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The dinner was well presented but in general not quite to my taste though i have a difficult time finding an exact fault. We took a pleasant walk along the shoreline. The hotel frequently hosts weddings.

This was our last stop in Italy. The location and views are breathtaking. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The suites are on the smaller size. Very simple amenities in the room. |The most disappointing aspect was the staff. The staff was basically non existent and very inattentive. I felt like I was renting an air B&B with a beautiful location. You are paying for the view not for a 5 star hotel.

Great place to stay, I was there for a few nights on my honeymoon! The view from the rooms are absolutely spectacular and that alone could give it 5 stars. The staff were very accommodating, professional and kind. The cocktails were amazing and we loved having after dinner drinks by the fire! It was a great end to the evening. Villa Lario is a vibe and I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Our favorite escape – time and time again. We’ve had the joy of staying at Villa Lario four times now, and with each visit, it only gets more magical. There’s a reason we keep coming back: the perfect blend of luxury, intimacy, and well-being that this place offers is simply unmatched. The location is stunning — right on the edge of Lake Como, with peaceful views and an atmosphere of total serenity. The suites are exquisite and everything is designed for comfort and elegance. The restaurant is also truly exceptional — every meal is a refined, delicious experience that perfectly complements the setting. But what truly makes Villa Lario unforgettable is the people. The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive, always going above and beyond with warmth and discretion. A very special thank you to Raffaele, whose professionalism and personal touch elevate every stay. He has become part of what we cherish most about this place. Villa Lario is our home away from home, we already look forward to our next visit.

We had a dinner reservation at Villa Bianca restaurant a few days ago (21/4), and the food was great, the atmosphere was very nice, the view was exceptional, and the staff were very helpful and very kind. It was our first time in Como, so it was also our first time in your restaurant, but we will definitely make a new reservation not just for the restaurant but for the hotel as well, when we visit again!

The most beautiful spot. This is truly a slice of heaven. The service was incredible and staff was amazing from start to finish. We had the best service and everyone was lovely. Really a beautiful property

This hotel is absolutely stunning. The views are unparalleled and the grounds are beautiful. The food we had there was excellent as well. Unfortunately, the service there was some of the worst I've experienced. Since this is a boutique hotel I would expect the service to be much better, however, this was not the case. We would sit out at the pool as the only people there and not see anyone for over 30 minutes. At one point, I had to leave a go to the front desk to try and get a drink. The rooms are also beautiful but you can hear every noise from outside and from the other rooms. It's been a year since our stay but since our stay we have booked with other 5 star resorts and it's clear this one needs some improvements to hold up to other more established hotels. Overall, the lack of service really put a damper on our time spent at this hotel.
