Villa Le Barone Hotel

Like out of the movies, this beautiful old villa is in a gorgeous setting in the heart of Chianti. Quaint yet well appointed rooms, wonderful dining, lovely pool with fantastic view. A wine machine and self serve honor bar with snacks off the check in area. We were busy hiking the area but wished we had more time just to sit and relax. Welcoming, friendly staff, and the owner who is on site a lot and very approachable. Highly recommend.

The drinks reception in the rose garden was magical and the music with our first dance in the dining room… we’ll never forget that moment.||Panzano has always been a special place for us, but what made this weekend so incredible was the people not the location. You and your wonderful team welcomed me, Lucy, and every one of our guests as friends. Villa Le Barone is an amazing property in the heart of Tuscany. My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights in early August at Barone, and it was amazing from the moment we pulled through the century old gates which greet you upon arrival to the villa. While the villa dates back sometime, it has all of the modern day amenities including; air conditioning, infinity pool, wine room, etc. We enjoyed two amazing dinners on site, which includes an appetizer buffet each evening. The wait staff are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable of the food and wine. We ate on the outdoor patio both evenings and it was incredible both times. Thanks to the Chef! Breakfast in the morning, also incredible and plentiful. We had the opportunity to meet the owners during our stay, who were kind enough to let us pick a few tomatoes from their garden. In addition, we met their daughter and son-in-law, who were married in the nearby town. Nice to share a conversation with them. All of the staff were wonderful. Thanks to all of the housekeepers, especially whomever helped to remove the stain from my girlfriend's white pants. If you're look for breathe taking views of Tuscany, quiet surroundings, and an escape to what feels like a movie scene... This is it. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will return. |Best, Ken

I have been to Le Barone four out of the last six visits to Italy. It is a little piece of heaven to me! I’ve never been anywhere that is more beautiful and restful. The staff is so welcoming and the food is wonderful. The Count and Countess greet me every time we’ve come! Once you lay by the pool and hear the church bells on the next hill, you’ll realize it doesn’t get any better!

My husband and I recently stayed at Villa Le Barone as part of a Backroads tour. What a wonderful experience, staying in a 16th century villa, overlooking the Tuscan countryside. Our room was clean, the food was wonderful, and the staff was great. I had a fun time exploring all the different rooms, winding stairways, and all the art and decor. We certainly understand why people stay here and every year!

We are staying here as I write. What a warm welcome we received upon our arrival, and a greeting from the owner Jacqueline her self. Our room in the main building is beautiful dappled with nice art. We have the corner room on the 3rd floor which offers us a beautiful view of the Villa and a very pleasant breeze. The amenities are plentiful, we spent the late afternoon in the pool which offered in itself an amazing view of wine groves and Tuscan church that was perched on the hill. Dinner was another wonderful experience, where we sat in the garden terrace of the restaurant and enjoyed a leisurely and delicious dinner amongst the other guests. Everyone seemed so content and for once I didn't see anyone using their phone. Rather everyone was enjoying the conversation with their family. The owners were even seen enjoying dinner. The location is perfect. I can honestly say this might be one of my most favorite places to stay. Can't wait to get up tomorrow and enjoy my coffee in the hills of Chianti.

Villa Le Barone is an exceptional treasure, which I call my second home. The welcome is wonderful from the cleaning ladies to the owners..the food delicious..fresh flowers always..kindness always..and a fabulously professional approach combined with an intimate atmosphere. I have been 9 times.

Villa Le Barone is a truly special place, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views make it perfect for a relaxing getaway. What made the stay even more memorable were the owners, Corso and Jacqueline—gracious, warm, and genuinely attentive. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcome. We stayed there about 4 years ago and I forgot to write a review. Both my wife and I loved staying there. Very warm and friendly staff. We met the owners at breakfast and they were very easy and welcoming. It's a very peaceful and quaint hotel with very cool rooms. They have a great honor bar with a fireplace and different gardens to spend time in surrounded by beautiful country side. The town also has a great attraction for carnivores, the crazy butcher of Panzano. His restaurants are something to experience.

Traveled through Tuscany this past October and had the most wonderful stay at Le Barone! Not only is the hotel itself stunning (the architecture is centuries-old and well-preserved), the grounds look out onto beautiful rolling hills and vineyards that you expect to see in the Italian countryside. The owners and staff were all super friendly and always available for a chat about where you're from, what kinds of things to go do, the history of the grounds, etc. At dinner one night, I even saw a couple of guests get emotional and tear up about how lovely their stay had been! Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance - I know I can't wait to visit again!
