"This charming 1910 villa is truly unique. Beautiful original features highlight the Art Nouveau style of the building and this ambience is also palpable in the spacious, comfortable rooms. Breakfast in the orangery is delicious and comes with a view of the flower-filled garden. Be sure to explore the surrounding forests and beaches." - Tablet Hotels

Very impressive hotel. I loved the charm and elegance from the past century. Great service!

Villa Magnolia is a small but peaceful and beautiful family-owned hotel. The ancient buildings are renovated with loving details telling the history of the building. The rooms are very big and even have a table to pic-nic - in the close by kitchen you can serve yourself with drinks and local traditional food. The breakfast buffet has everything you need - and here again a lot of homemade and local organic food is available. The hotel is located near by the sea and the amazing sand dunes; 20 min by foot (through an amazing forest) or 7 minutes by car. Oostkapelle itself is a small village with some interesting restaurant especially for pancakes and of course mussels. Middleburg is closed by a definitely worth a visit with its meaningful history and pittoresk buildings.

We love the hotel location, the well organised car parking, the welcome by the hotel manager and sociable staff. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere, the internal decor is superb and the landscaping/garden is always well maintained. The breakfast is excellent with a big variety of very fresh food and served in a very pleasant and very clean building. Well done we always love to return to Villa Magnolia.

We arrived by bike from Middelburg train station (which took only 35 minutes) in Oostkapelle and we stayed one night in this rather unique mansion. Our room (number 14) was spacious, authentically decorated, and had a nice balcony overlooking the surrounding meadows. The opulent breakfast (pictured here) was presented very decently. Thank you for taking such good care of us! We had a really wonderful experience.

Two nights in a garden room in this very lovely inn. The room was oversized, immaculate and comfortable with an in-room bathroom, coffee setup and refrigerator. The patio was a bonus and opening the patio doors for the breezes after two weeks in stuffy hotels was delightful. Breakfast was the best we experienced while in Europe. Lots of choices, constantly refilled. ||||Can't say enough about this experience. We will definitely be back for a longer stay. The hotelier is engaged, present, and remembered our name each time we saw him.

Spent three nights at Villa Magnolia on a recommendation from a neighbour back home - could not have been better.||||Large, spacious and well appointed rooms with a super-comfy bed: lovely grounds; separate conservatory room for breakfast.||||Of course, what makes this place so good is Jerry: friendly, efficient and goes out of his way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. I am a coeliac - Jerry made sure there was gluten free bread available for me each day for breakfast.||||You do need a car if staying here but I doubt that anyone would be visiting this part of the Netherlands without one. Highly recommended.

Wonderful accommodation. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable. Each room is different. Staff has a good eye for detail and is very friendly. We've stayed here during the lockdown with everything being closed in the country. Hotels are not allowed to serve breakfasts (or dinner). But take away is still an option. So we've had breakfast in our room. As our room was very spacious with a confusing tale and chairs, this was a perfect solution. And there's lots to explore even with ensign being closed. It was a great geta during these crazy times. We will definitely come back with our kids.

It all started like this: "Through your online travel agent we have received a reservation in your name with the request to be allocated a Farm House Suite. Unfortunately the room you booked is our lead-in category Double Room." After that it just got worse and worse as they tried to attract us with a nice offer but finally got us a very bad room. When we tried to speak with them about it they told us we would have to contact our travel agency. Horrible service - don't go there.
