Villa Makassar

The stay was amazing from start to finish. The Art Deco Palace was beautiful and nothing was too much trouble. Any issues were quickly resolved. Samira on reception was fantastic. The breakfast was fabulous - different each day and so tasty. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

We came to Marrakesh and on a strong recommendation of a globe trotting friend, bookended two nights at Villa Makassar between a trip around Morocco. Jalila Ait Moumen the Directrice des Ventes is a delight. She’s warm and outgoing in her kind attentions, providing us with recommendations for restaurants and places of interest. The small staff is friendly and helpful. Our rooms were both charming with dramatic deco interiors, deep and cooling color schemes, comfy beds, and beautiful finishes. There’s a cooling pool and a spa hammam. Were happy we chose Villa Makassar and hope to return!

We loved our stay at Villa Makassar. The accommodation is beautiful, art deco with beautiful antique architecture and furniture. The staff are amazing and especially Zak, our favourite waiter, who could not do enough for us. We love him and also a huge thank you to the owner who was very accommodating and informative when we arrived, and gave us a room upgrade for my birthday. We would love to come back.

What a fabulous team and hotel!! |Me and my daughter stayed at this lovely hotel for 5 nights while we enjoyed the beautiful Morocco.|The hotel was well decorated, perfectly located for activities and extremely clean (and this is coming from a clean freak 🤣). |The team members here were extremely welcoming and friendly, they made me and my daughter feel very comfortable right from the get go!! They were also very helpful when it came to top tips about the local area, Taxis and always happy to help with any other needs or questions we had.|The hotel itself was fabulous. One of our favourite parts of our trip was the spa package we got, including traditional hammas scrub, full body massage, facial and full use of spa facilities including pool, and all of this for only €115!! A definite must if you stay here. |The hotel also offers several tranquil outside area, a rooftop terrace with jacuzzi and lovely pool area.|Our room was perfect and well designed. The mini fridge was full of goodies, which my daughter loved of course, and they had a range of quality toiletries for use also (Shampoo/conditioner etc).|Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. A huge thank you to everyone that helped make our stay so relaxed and happy!!!

I have rarely come across such a charming hotel. The location is excellent (just a short walk to the main square), and the staff are both elegant and professional.|We were warmly welcomed with delicious homemade tea and treated to a tour of the enchanting property. Every corner reflects beauty and attention to detail, from the refined décor to the overall atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and equipped with every necessary comfort.|It was truly a shame to leave—I will definitely be coming back.

This hotel is incredible! From the beautiful art deco decoration to the extremely nice and welcoming staff. The location is great: central, but it is in a calm area. The dinner was delicious, the spa Hamman was great. Really recommend staying here!

From the start, Villa Marrakech was a wonderful experience. They welcomed us for early check in, gave us tea and pastries, and upgraded our room to a deluxe suite for free! Breakfast is amazing and fresh, always the best freshest juices, fresh pastries, eggs, and fruit—I looked forward to it everyday. The service here is top notch as well, very professional, and they were there for helping us book activities and taxis when we needed. A big thank you for being a part of our wonderful experience in Marrakech!

The ambience and the venue are simply amazing! All the details of the room are also showing good taste and are creating an unforgettable experience. ||The riad makes the trip more authentic and all the people here, are super welcoming, smiling, kind and generous! We felt like home… ||The SPA is also a corner of paradise.||We can not really make a distinction among the people in the hotel, all of them are there to help and serve us as we were the kings of the world. Also, Yousef in the restaurant is really so gentle and so helpful! Also the pianist in the lobby, creates a romantic and pleasant live ambience.||If we come back to Marrakech, we will definately stay in the same place.||Congrats to all of you and do not lower the standard!||Alexandra and Calin
