This is THE place for good milongas in Buenos Aires. As of now (June 7, 2016), this is the calendar: Monday 10:00pm - El Motivo Wednesday 10:00pm - Fruto Dulce Friday 11:00pm - Practica Zum Saturday 10:00pm - La Bruja Sunday 10:00pm - Viva La Pepa All of the milongas have classes and seminars before classes. Look for them in Facebook! The bar prices are good, food is good, not spectacular, but the place is not a restaurant. :)

Tango nights with medium wooden floor, bar with limited menu and tables away from dance area for eating. Mixed crowd, variable skills pending which night, cabeceo is tricky cos of layout, so women need to miranda. Toilets need sorting, messy.

I like indoor Milongas here , the gym inside you can’t listen music sound well , sometimes great dancers show up , open people and friendly you can dance with anybody

Yelp
I found this place through tango, they have classes and milongas most nights of the week except for Saturday. It's a social/sports club which is like a community center and they have a cafe in the front. The place is a little dated but has a huge floor (the gym) where they split up the classes and after open up the floor to the milonga. I can't say anything for the other activities, but the teachers are generally spot on, depends on the day and the milonga is laid back without being boring. You can take a break from tango and have a bite at the cafe. During the evening they have beer, empanadas, pizza, whatever basic kind of food you could want. Don't expect amazing service, milonga nights draw people and sometimes there are only 2 waitresses coming around to take orders, so patience... Overall a down to earth tango spot.
