Feedback on Villa Mangiacane, OUR WEDDING VENUE ,Tuscany, Italy||||I do not usually write reviews but someone who is ruining my wedding celebration for their own greedy interest then I write to warn you all.||||My experience at Villa Mangiacane in Tuscany was a mixed one, with both positive and negative aspects to highlight. Let me start by saying that the villa itself was truly magnificent, boasting a spectacular view and beautiful rooms. It was love at first sight when we signed the contract in July 2022 for our three-day FULL BUYOUT wedding celebration from June 21st to 23rd, 2023.||However, I must express my disappointment with the after-sale customer service provided by Villa Mangiacane. We encountered significant struggles in trying to reach them, and their responsiveness was lacking. This lack of communication and support was particularly frustrating, especially considering the significance of our event.||Furthermore, Villa Mangiacane proved to be less than ideal as a wedding venue, especially if you're looking to have a lively outdoor party. The management informed us during the contract signing that music and fireworks had to end by 10 pm to avoid any police intervention. Surprisingly, on June 22nd, during our welcome party, which started at 4 pm, we were asked to lower the volume at 5:30 pm due to the presence of police on the property. It was bewildering as it was well before the agreed-upon time. The continuous requests to turn down the music, with one staff member physically interfering with the speakers, only added to our frustration. Although we continued the party with lower volume, the incident left a sour taste in our mouths.||Another area where Villa Mangiacane fell short was in their approach to pricing and service. The management appeared to prioritize profit above all else, even for minimal services. For example, during our welcome party, there was supposed to be a live station for cold cuts, which was never displayed until I personally noticed its absence 90 minutes after the meal service began. Additionally, they charged us a Euro 45 corkage fee for bottles, but when our event planners requested to see the empty bottles as proof, the staff refused to show them.||Another greediness,One particular instance was when they offered to provide gelato for 80 people for a two-hour duration at an astonishing cost of 2700 Euro. We found this price to be unreasonable, especially when considering alternative options. We were able to find a vendor ourselves who offered six hours of gelato service for 1600 Euro, including a variety of six flavors. This option not only saved us a significant amount of money but also provided a more diverse and enjoyable experience for our guests.||||Similarly, the venue proposed a live pizza station for the after-party on the wedding day, but their asking price of 5000 Euro for a maximum of 60 people from 11 pm to 2 am felt incredibly inflated. By choosing to outsource this service ourselves, we secured a reputable vendor who provided pizza for 60 people at a cost of 1400 Euro. This decision not only showcased the venue's inflated pricing but also demonstrated their disregard for providing competitive and fair options.||||On our wedding day, the villa was severely understaffed, resulting in our event planner from Dubai having to take on additional responsibilities. To our surprise, the wines we had specifically bought for the wedding, including Amarone, Brunello di Montalcino, and two others, were not served. It was only the next day, when we realized our wines were missing, that we had to request them. The general manager, Matteo, eventually brought the wines before our check-out, but the intention behind withholding them until prompted remains unclear.||When settling our final bill, we noticed several nonsensical charges. Initially totalling $6,000, we negotiated it down to $4,000. However, upon further scrutiny, we discovered questionable charges. It was disheartening to learn that the GM, Matteo, agreed to adjust the bill if a few of our guests wrote positive reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor and Google. This approach seemed manipulative and unprofessional.||||Throughout our stay, we felt an undue amount of pressure and stress due to various mismanagement issues. Rain delays and service after the ceremony caused confusion, and guests were rushed to dinner at 8 pm to accommodate the four-course menu, cake cutting, and fireworks before the 10 pm curfew. Instead of Villa Mangiacane serving us, it felt like we were doing them favors and trying to keep them satisfied, which was far from the ideal experience we had envisioned.||To conclude, if you are seeking a stress-free and enjoyable wedding experience, I strongly advise considering other venues. While our wedding at Villa Mangiacane ultimately turned out well despite the venue's mismanagement and stress, given the chance to do it all over again, I would not choose this location. Best of luck in your wedding planning endeavors.||||I have a proof of Matto text to my husband for google review, everything is based on facts,||||OUR NAME IS ON THE VILLA||||SAHEL & MARK
