The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like you, in this beautiful villa with its wonderful view, have personal attendance without it being intrusive at all. Food is mostly locally sourced and cooked well, better than you'll find in most other restaurants. Hoping to return one day!

Absolutely lovely and serene place with view of rice fields and mountains, the pool is filled with spring water, only 4 rooms feels like a private villa with a cook for delicious Balinese food and masseuse as well. They can organise a trip to Sekumpul Waterfalls just ten minutes away. The whole area is pristine old Bali, very authentic :)

Villa Manuk was the perfect place for me to really relax after three weeks of travelling around. The surrounding is beautiful , the local people so friendly and the staff is absolutely amazing. Here I experienced the authentic Bali. I really recommend it. So go and see for yourself!

There's something that makes this place different from the other six places we stayed at in Bali. It's authentic, rustic, peaceful, blissful. Their pool and garden are beautiful. The staff goes at great length to accommodate the guests. For example, we asked for a coconut and the guy climbed a coconut tree in their garden to get us one!

Villa Manuk is finally open for guests again. It was not my first stay here and it was pleasant and relaxing as always. Lovely staff, good food (you can order now from the auntie next door), beautiful view, refreshing spring water pool and great Balinese massages. Bali‘s tallest waterfall, Sekumpul, is located just nearby. The villa is also a good starting point for trekking tours or walks in the rice paddies. Please be aware that the villa is situated in the middle of a village. You will hear residents going about their daily lives, dogs barking, roosters crowing, etc.

My boyfriend and I travelled to Bali in the end of May and we started our adventures in North Bali with staying at Villa Manuk for our first night. The place was lovely, very relaxed far away from crowded touristy areas. I wish we had more days to spend there! The apartment was spacious, had the real Balinese atmosohere with its furniture, design, balcony and bathroom. Although there was no air conditioning built in, with a mobile fan the clima was ok, I did not feel too warm. The staff was super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Loved the pool for my morning swim which was in fact quite big. The breakfast was amazing, plentiful with delicious home made bread, yoghurt, omelette, fruits and juices. I'd definitely recommend!!!
