I arrived at the hotel after booking 3 nights through Booking.com. When I got there, the room was awful! Old and smelled like fried food. It turns out there's a restaurant right below the room window, and all the cooking smells came straight into the room. Completely unfit for staying in, and it was impossible to sleep there. I asked to switch rooms, but they refused. I paid almost €1,000, which is extremely expensive for the area, and the experience was terrible. I had to leave the hotel because I couldn't sleep there and had to look for another hotel at the last minute. Now they’re refusing to give me a refund. Just thieves! Horrible service. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Location is very isolated — far from all activities and surrounded by bad restaurants. Impossible to sit outside on the patio because of the awful smell from the restaurant chimney below, constantly blowing fried food fumes.||No breakfast provided, no coffee in the room, no drinks in the fridge apart from water, and toiletries were of the cheapest quality. The villa had a horrible smell in the toilet, making the stay even more unpleasant.||Service does not exist here — we were left completely on our own. When we tried to leave early, there was no one at reception to check us out.||The whole place felt cheap, uncomfortable, and very poorly organised. It’s overpriced for being so far away and so badly maintained. Stay away from this place — it’s not worth your time or money

Please stay here. The staff is amazing, breakfast is wonderful, and the nearby restaurants are all so nice! We had to leave earlier than the front desk/breakfast was open, and they prepared an entire meal for us for the next day! Seriously so sweet. They are all genuine angels and it’s an easy trip down to Amalfi if that’s your vibe. They are very helpful in booking boat tours, motorcycle rentals, and bus tickets! Could not recommend more.

This is a B+B in name but feels much more like a hotel. The staff (Antonio, Andrea, and the lady who does the breakfast) are all friendly and very helpful. They helped with day to day things, were very accommodating about early check-in/late check-out and helped us organise onward transport. We had a twin room which was spacious and well-maintained, and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast of fruit/pastries/cheese/bread/cereal/yoghurt was very good. The location was great for us. Amalfi itself gets very busy (even in May) and is quite chaotic - we were really glad we hadn't booked to stay there once we'd been. It was nice to retreat to Pogerola, which a is beautiful village perched on the hillside with amazing views. The bus down to Amalfi starts its journey just outside the hotel which is very convenient - but bear in mind it does take around 25 (very scenic!) minutes to reach Amalfi. Highly recommend.

Delightful B&B. The rooms are decorated with the traditional local tiles and are spotlessly clean. Andrea and Antonio couldn't be more helpful or welcoming. There are a few wonderful local restaurants just a few steps away (notably Osteria Rispoli). The B&B is situated in Pogerola which is a village high up behind Amalfi. After a busy day driving around the crowded roads and villages, it was such a pleasure to return to this haven of peace every evening and enjoy local food without the hoards of tourists! Highly recommend

As a single female traveling for the first time to Italy, I cannot say enough about this very quaint B&B. It’s very safe with a few good restaurants surrounding and the views are wonderful. Highly recommend and will come back again. The staff is exceptionally accommodating.

We spent a night there while backpacking along the Amalfi coast, after getting a well-thought of recommendation to spend the night above Amalfi to avoid the crowds. We absolutely loved it! The location on the trail, the atmosphere, rooms comfy and full of character, breakfast, location by great spots for dinner and groceries... The view... Really, it is such a gem.
