It was a lovely stay, highly recommend. Sonia welcomed us and made sure our stay was amazing. Every morning, they made fresh breakfast - there were many options to choose from and then the kitchen made it. One of us is dairy free and they provided options. They also offer lunchboxes, where they will make your food / breakfast for you to take on the go if you’re not able to eat during the allocated time. The hotel was really clean, quiet and the breakfast table offered a great way to communicate with one another. Felt very private and safe, and is at a great location where everything is walkable! Would totally stay here again :)

I loved the hotel and its staff: I was made so welcome by the whole team! Special mention to Griselda who will bend over backwards to help and make your stay as easy and pleasant as she possibly can! The room was large and nice, very clean. I'd have liked a few more towel rails in the bathroom, and possibly a shower hose, not the fancy rain shower type, considering the, ahem, Mexican or Yucatan TP situation and therefore the increased need to have a hand-held shower that can target specific areas?! But that's a detail. The location, team and hotel were fantastic!

We stayed here for 5 days. I think we might have been better in a different room as we had one by the corner and so didn't have a view of the pool. The hotel was really great though. The staff were really excellent and helped us when my wife was sick with some medication and extra help. The room and bathroom were really good and the breakfast each day was excellent. We had a car and were able to park nearby each day on the street.

We stayed for 3 nights whilst in Merida, in the suite room. The room was large and very lovely. All the amenities you could need. The bed was also huge and possibly one of the comfiest we’ve ever had. Also the staff were just so lovely. We were out early every morning for day trips or travel (before breakfast) when we let them know we would be checking out very early due to catching a bus they offered to make us a little breakfast packed up to take with us. Just felt like a really lovely family run place, but also very high quality. Definitely recommend and would stay again if back in Merida

I have stayed for couple of nights, the room was really quiet, comfy bed, nice ambience of the hotel. But what I really appreciated is how my issue was resolved by management. Fast and with a lot of attention. Breakfast was also very soulful. It’s nice to have coffee any time you feel like too. Overall, really good experience. Well done. Photo is from the garden of the facility, nice place to work and spend time.

We stayed at Villa Orquidea for 5 nights, and left today. I could not wait to recommend this place! First, it was a great value for the price. Everything was very clean and nice. I loved it that they had complementary coffee & snack in the lobby 24/7. Also, the entire staff were keen to assist with every request or question we had. They gave us amazing recommendations for tours, restaurants and even helped us figure out how to get to our next destination. Each time we took their advice we were very pleased. The breakfast was good, although there was only one dish option (a different dish each day) but it was of good quality. To sum up, we had an amazing stay, and we send our gratitude to the dedicated staff.

What an incredible hotel to stay at while visiting Merida. The staff could not have been more helpful and the rooms were massive and extremely clean. The pool is just an added bonus.||You have made to order breakfasts and it's only really a ten minute walk to the main square or to one of many amazing restaurants.||I must highlight the staff again. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible and had plenty of information if you found yourself stuck for plans. ||When I visit Merida again, I would have no hesitation in staying here again. Excellent hotel.
