We spent a few spring days at Michel and Krystyna’s lovely villa and felt instantly welcome. Breakfasts were delicious, served on beautiful and unique tableware. Michel and Krystyna were warm, friendly, and generous with local tips and stories. They are truly wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the Finnish sauna and the pool, which made our stay especially relaxing. The house is modern, filled with carefully chosen art and pottery, which create a cosy and inspiring atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view of the lagoon. We had an amazing time and highly recommend this place.

This place is one of a kind. The hospitality by Michel and Krystine is great. Feels like you are part of the family. During breakfast you can socialize with the other guests. Breakfast is by the way very nice with a lot of variety. Fresh orange juice. Good coffee, and a healthy start of the day. The room was spacious, very nice decorated and the bathroom has all you need. A balcony or terras looking over the lagoon and a side view to the ocean is the cherry on the cream. The refreshing pool we enjoyed every day. A place we highly recommend when you are having holiday at the silver coast in Portugal.

Our experience was beyond our expectations. This boutique hotel has all you need to have a very comfortable short or long stay; great location, nicely decorated room, sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, bikes to ride around the area, spectacular views of the lagoon, partial view of the ocean and spectacular sunset view right from the balcony of our room. Most of all, the warmth, and genuine care from the hosts was truly especial, and their attention to details is a rare find. The breakfast is so special, with a wide selection, excellent presentation, mouthwatering and delightful. We are worldwide travelers; we sincerely say Villa Paladina is one of a kind place. Our stay was truly unique and very especial, we will love to go back. We highly recommend this exceptional gem of a place.

A very relaxed and comfy bed and breakfast feel to the place. There are 6 rooms and the common areas are stunning. We had a room with a view of the lagoon and of the ocean on the side. Each morning our hosts would have plenty of food set out and would even make eggs to order. There was parking below the house, bikes to rent and a good size pool to enjoy. Plus we had the availability of a refrigerator to store all our goodies. Michel also provides a bar area for those wishing to grab a drink to watch the sun go down or simply to relax. |Our hosts were very helpful in providing suggestions on the area and restaurants all in a booklet. We were only a few minutes drive from the beach and all of the restaurants alongside the ocean. Many miradouros (viewpoints) to see and nearby Caldas da Rainha to explore. A lovely and relaxing place.

We were guests for 5 nights in June. Michel and Krystyna are unique hosts. You don't feel like a hotel guest but more like a friend. Whether it's the loving attention to details at breakfast, tips to explore the area or an extra lunch box: everything is done with passion and as a matter of course. The nearby lagoon offers opportunities for bird watching, water sports and relaxing on the beach. We can only recommend this oasis! We would give even more than 5 points if possible.|Thank you for everything! We had a wonderful time.

A private paradise above the lagoon Villa has only a few rooms and the owners live in the same Villa. It makes you feel like staying in a private Villa with friends. Owners are super friendly and Villa is in perfect condition. Breakfast in the morning is great. You will sit on one large table sharing table with all guests. Ie you should be a bit interested in socializing.

We absolutely adored our short stay at Villa Paladina and the only thing that would’ve made it better was had it been a few nights longer! The villa is located on a quiet street with a prime unblocked view over the lagoon and Foz Beach. The property is positioned perfectly for stunning views of the sunset (paired perfectly with a bottle of Michael’s recommended wines). Foz Beach is a short drive or walk away from the property. The rooms themselves are modernly appointed and incredibly well maintained - each room also has a view over the water with its own patio or balcony space. Open the room’s sliding doors in the morning to enjoy the crisp morning air and serenity 😌 Finally, the hospitality and care from Michael and Kyrstyna throughout was unmatched (and Michael makes an exceptional G&T 😉). Villa Paladina is very obviously a labour of love and their attendance for every detail for the guest is appreciated and won’t be forgotten! Thank you and we hope to be back again soon!
