Very nice and authentic restaurant with delicious food! We had pizza quattro staggioni and the ricotta ravioli, and tiramisu for dessert. The pizza dough is just perfect and thin. Great taste, fast service, and a nice ambiance.

An authentic Italian experience in the heart of Oslo, here you can find a Neapolitan style pizza and many different pasta dishes made with the best italian products, strongly recomended.

I had dinner in this pizzeria, and it was an amazing experience. The food was great, and the Pizza was one of the best I have tried. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The decor and location are nice. If you want to try real Italian Pizza in Oslo, it's highly suggested!

I’ve been to Villa Paradiso Frogner for a calm dinner with my girlfriend, the evening after the Norwegian Constitution day. We were greeted by the wait staff, who very kindly seated us at a nice table. The atmosphere is convivial, the food offerings are authentically Italian as are some of the wait staff. We had two pizza margherita, which were really good, as both the dough and ingredients made us feel like at home in Italy. Highly recommended to those who want to find a true Italian corner in Oslo Norway.

Great Art Nouveau interior and the food was fantastic too. In our party we had gluten free pizzas, the mussels, and the risotto. Everyone was pleased.

The pizzas were good, but for the price they have you can find much better in Oslo. Also, we were with a kid who ordered a pizza with salami. Unfortunately, it was quite burnt and the salami was too spicy for her. The drinks were just ok. The service though was good and fast. The place is very nice but very crowded. There isn’t much space between the tables so you can hear the whole conversations of the tables next to yours.

We have been here twice, and this is the best place where you can get real Italian food in Oslo!!!! Food was perfected, and service was 10/10. Nicolas is the best waiter!!

A real italian restaurant in Norway and, as a south-italian, I can say that also the pizza was very good, almost like best italian ones! People were really warm and nice with us, paying a lot of attention into details. Truly recommended

Yelp
We came in on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy and there was live music. Our group of eight sat upstairs, an area of the restaurant they closed off earlier than the rest of the restaurant. Our group decided to share pizza. My favorite was the Quattro Stagioni, which is usually my favorite. It had tomato, mozzarella, shellfish, artichoke, mushrooms, salame calabrese, pecorino and oregano. We ordered four pizzas and it was just about too much! We couldn't finish everything but they did have pizza boxes for us to take them home. The pizza went great with one of the bottles of white wine they had available. It wasn't too too loud in the restaurant; we could still talk. Apparently the pizza is super authentic and I thought it was just fine.

Yelp
My pasta was absolutely incredible. Basic red sauce over thick noodles with lots a grated cheese, and it was oh so good. Real Italian made by real Italians. Excellent service! I got my food almost before they had time to pour my glass of wine. Cozy atmosphere, nice big windows and great location. Couldn't have asked for a better place to come across on a Sunday night.

Yelp
Visited this place for the very first time about a year ago. I'm not a very big fan of pizza, but my tablefriend insisted that I should give it a try, although I didn't order pizza, it actually looked tempting and delicious to me. The manager greeted us and showed us our table, live music was playing in the background and the drinks arrived immediatly, our glasses were never empty and we got different kind of drinks for every courses we had. As a starter we got focaccia and a platter of diverse cheese and dry-cured meat. As I mentioned I'm not a fan of pizza so I asked for something different and the chef managed to make some magic happen, I cannot remember the name, but it was creamy and somehow different. The pizza my tablefriend ordered looked quite delicious as well! Last but not least, their homemade applepie was delicious, and what's a better combo than applepie and ice cream?!

Yelp
This place is great. Food is delicious. Came in fairly close to closing time and they had no issues with us as late-arrivers. Ordered the Margherita pizza and a beer. Good crispy crust, bubbled up, plenty of cheese. Wife got the Napolitano? (going from memory here) with capers and anchovies on it. People like what people like on their pizzas. Service was a little slow but it's not fast food. Just enjoy your drink and your company and they'll get back to you soon enough. If you're desperate to get things moving along, just get up and find your server - the place isn't that big. We're from the United States but have many friends in Oslo and several of them suggested this place. Local knowledge was good. Also, Frogner is pretty cool part of Oslo. Definitely worth strolling through. When we travel we always feel that little feeling inside about committing to a restaurant not really knowing what you're going to get. Rest assured, you'll like what's on the inside!

Yelp
Wow this place has some amazing pizza. We are visiting from San Francisco and just stumbled upon the restaurant. We had the pizza and were hooked. We have our own wood fired pizza oven at home and know good when we have it in the week we were here we had pizza from there three more times.

Yelp
It's better than the one in Grünerløkka! The pizza dough is everything you hope for. Thin and little charred, but fluffy to chew. The focaccia to start us off with was excellent too. Had also ordered the tartare. It was ok, but clearly bread and pizza are their forte.

Yelp
Great place for Pizza or Italian food, probably the best in Frogner. Huge area for the middle of the city, with lots of interesting places to sit on two different floors, as well as outside. The biggest problems however are the crowds that come here, especially on the weekends. The price is also higher than the same restaurant in Grünnerløkka, so it's worth taking that into consideration.

Yelp
This place gets a lot of great reviews and whilst I like the place, there isn't much that separates this restaurant from other general Italian places I've visited in Oslo. I will say that it feels quite authentically Italian and it has a lively atmosphere for dinner. if you are going on a busy weeknight, this might not be the place you want to go for a date. We both had pizza's, and whilst they were good, there was nothing that made it bad, or special in my opinion. All in all a good normal Italian restaurant.

Yelp
5-stars for the food 2-stars for the service 5-stars for the decor and ambiance I've only been here once and it was on a Friday night. It was packed. We waited about 30 mins for a table, then at least 45 for our food after ordering. Fortunately the pizza was great once it arrived and so were the salads. The waitress wasn't very friendly but that may be the norm in Oslo. It seems like she could have at least offered bread while we waited or given us an update. I'd go again anyway.

Yelp
Went here for a late Monday breakfast with an old friend and we were greeted warmly as soon as we set foot inside the door. Offered to us was the breakfast platter, and a free coffee of our choice. A nice caffeine kickstart came in the form of a double espresso; smooth and well-brewed. The platter was composed of orange juice, toast /w olive oil, fig jam, cheese (the sort escapes me), eggs, some succulent pieces of ham, and a tomato/rucola salad. Not only was it well presented, but the flavours complimented each other gracefully. Now, I'm only 25, but this was one of the nicest breakfasts I've had in my short life. For a very fair price (99,-) I'd recommend this any day of the week. (Added to the experience was, of course, the great service we received.) Addendum: As we got up to leave they started firing up their stone oven for the pizza. I've definitely got to try that the next time I visit!

Yelp
Surprisingly good pizza topped with quality ingredients. We had the parma with arugula with right amount of toppings. This is my second favorite pizza place after Maschmann @ Skøyen! The day pasta was lasagna & it was bland & soggy just like it just been re-heat in the microwave. Strategically located at the corner of Solli plass next to BIT, there still has no sign outside but you will notice the diners from the outside. Has been full house since they opened, so call for reservation if you have a big party. They have 2 levels & a huge back area. Tastefully decorated with some art nouvea style similar to some diners you find in Amsterdam.

Yelp
Met my translator Valkyrie here for delicious pizza & cappuccino in a very friendly, open and stylish space. Great place to have a long chat about strange & foolish things over outstanding food. I'll be back.

Yelp
Impolite service. The manager was already complaining when we arrived that we were one person more than in our reservation, even though the restaurant was half empty. Then after we had our starters the fire alarm went off. The staff didn't know how to turn it off. After 30 minutes of loud ringing in our ears, we decided to leave. The manager insisted in a loud and intimidating tone that we would pay for all drinks. Also half a bottle of wine didn't get to finish. Not cool!
