Avoid this hotel. It also happened to us that we didn't get the apartment we booked. Two hotel rooms were offered instead, where it was +28'C warm and without air conditioning. The person at the reception suddenly couldn't even speak English. We canceled the reservation and luckily we immediately got better accommodation elsewhere.

Lovely friendly hotel. All of the staff were very helpful, they went out of their way to be helpful. Room was quite big and comfortable and warm. Breakfast was superb especially the warm Polish sausage and scrambled eggs with local bread. Location is perfect to explore and lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Will go here again.

A warm and cosy hotel, friendly and welcoming, offering all the comforts you could wish for. Great breakfast, lots of choice... Conveniently located within easy reach of Gdańsk Old Town and lots of restaurants. Excellent hotel all round!

Booked through booking.com - 4 bed apart for 8 friends. We all wanted to share an apartment so we could enjoy our trip together - when we arrived the gentleman on reception informed us that there was a "small problem" with the room. The manager appeared and informed us that the 4 bed apart we had booked was not available - I was then shown to a one bed apart (mezzanine level) with the pull out bed made up and 4 foam mattresses on the floor. She offered us breakfast for one morning and said two more rooms would be available the following day. I pointed out that that was not what was booked and that the group wanted to stay together. I asked why I wasn't contacted in advance to advise me of the issue (payment had already been made in full earlier in the month) and I did not receive an answer. I stated we were not happy to stay here and wanted a full refund - the manager agreed - told me to cancel the booking on booking.com - took my IBAN to make the payment faster - yet here I am over 30 days later out of pocket with no sign of a refund. I contacted the property and was told there had been an error and was advised that they would refund on the 7 th aug - however the amount would be less (150e approx) that what was paid as that was booking.coms fee. I have contacted them on the app now several times since and have been left with no reply. DO NOT STAY HERE

Arrived at this hotel, at around 9:30pm. There was no- one there to greet us, just our key with instructions,on the reception counter,on how to get to "Madonna" . So we climbed up 4 flights of really dimly lit stairs, to the top floor to go into "Madonna" the reason it's called "Madonna " is there is a picture of Madonna on one of the walls!! ..... That's it ! |The room itself was big enough, and to a good clean standard. It contained a fridge - ( Empty) no bottle of water as was advertised at point of booking the room, nor was there any toiletries as advertised also, so the next morning we went down the 4 flight of stairs, to see someone at the reception ( there was a lady there, don't know who she was, never Introduced herself, of welcomed us to the hotel, ) however we explained about the no toiletries situation, so she provided us with a supermarket bottle of shower gel. Breakfast was OK, buffet/continental style, not enough hot items for me, only smoked sausage, and the girl offered scrambled egg when you were there. But plenty other items. The hotel was adequate for the time we were there, clean enough, breakfast OK, and in a really good location only 5 mins to the main streets. The just have to brush up on their customer service. I would return to gdansk, however, not this hotel.

Hotel is in centrum of Gdansk. There is no elevator and breakfast room ist too small for all guests and there are no windows or air conditioning, so there is really hot inside. We have had apartment, which was very modern and clean. They are dog friendly. There is big problem with parking, but you can pay parking under the building for 40zł a day. Personal is nice.

The hotel is in a fabulous location to everything we only went for two nights arriving late on the friday night, the reception staff were very helpful. Our double (Galileo)room was lovely spacious everything you needed plenty of towels, mini bar although not much in there and abit pricey as you would expect for a hotel. Very Clean room my 5 year old son had a travel cot for a bed after I had booked an extra bed for him, was abit surprised at this but hes quite small so fitted in and it had a zip door so he could get in and out ok. Only one major fault with our room the ensuite bathroom had its door missing??? Very strange but we were only there 2 nights so we didnt complain. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice and plenty of it too although I would recomend going early as the breakfast room isnt huge so seating is limited breakfast staff were lovely and helpful.||||I would say all in all a lovely hotel with great staff.

This hotel has such great potential especially with the absolutely fantastic location. Just 2 minute walk from the waterfront you are in the middle of all the action yet far away from most (but from all) the noise. Niece or seems that the owner are just counting on location and ignoring everything else... starting with... A BLOODY DOOR TO THE BATHROOM. I am sorry but you cannot claim to be a hotel of any standard of you cannot provide this most basic of amenities. Dogfish I am taking about the room Dali which in my opinion should be avoided if not then one person staying there unless you are very very intimate with your partner. Beyond that the room lacked even the most basic amenities. The bed was clean and but that is about all that can be said about it... windows open to street with a bar right infront so you have now to quite late. That did not bother me but it's not exactly good for a relaxing evening
