Villa Ponti Bellavista- Best villa in Italy

Incredible experience, beautiful location with friendly helpful staff that went above and beyond. The villa rooms were very clean with a nice touch of nostalgic and modern decor. I loved the architecture with all of the round edges rested right on top of the mountain with a view of the lake. Spiral staircase and fine details really made it pleasing to the eyes. The large windows and art work in the rooms made for a relaxing stay in Italy. Sunrise and sunset over the mountains were fabulous along with the moon rise. The view and the clouds changed every hour of the day. Breakfast with a view accompanied With fabulous service. The pool area and sauna was a really nice added bonus. Beautiful place and hospitality 100%

This place is simply GLORIOUS!! If you want to feel like a movie star, book it! The house is so lovely, there’s a full kitchen so you can make your own meals (although movie starts would have their own chef! But this can be arranged if you want!)…. There’s plenty of areas to lounge around inside or out, and the views from the balconies and pool area are absolutely breathtaking! Phenomenal!! We stayed here for 4 nights and felt completely rejuvenated. The gardens are beautiful and there’s even a veggie patch with lovely herbs that you can help yourself to- strawberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, basil, sage, silver beet. You name it! It’s just a devine place to relax and enjoy being on holidays!! You do need a car to get around Civenna and it’s a little tricky to find the property, but once you book, they will be in touch with you and can help with specific directions on how to get there. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with anything you need…and you can even book a masseuse who will come to the house. 100000% recommend spending some time here- well worth the expense!!

What a majestic view in a spectacular home! The Villa was beautiful in all areas! Our bedroom was perfect and we enjoyed the pool overlooking the lake and gardens also. The charming cooks that made us breakfast each morning were so lovely and accommodating! Our group was so very pleased with our stay!

Our stay was absolutely amazing—truly paradise on earth! The villa is magical, featuring modern furnishings and nestled in a serene forest, with breathtaking views of Lake Como right from the balcony. It’s just a 15-minute drive from Bellagio, and the hosts were incredible—especially Luiggi, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back! Honestly, there’s no need to even leave the villa, as it offers the full Lake Como experience, complete with a pool and sauna.

This is a place you will walk into and have your breath taken. It is spectacular. The view is so beautiful you will keep having to check it’s even real. The rooms are very well appointed, beautifully dressed and the beds the same quality as some of the best hotels in the world. We slept extremely well, sinking into the comfortable beds. The hosts went above and beyond for us! The sauna and pool overlook the stunning Lake Como as well. Such a treat. Luxury in its finest form. This is the place you will keep thinking of, returning to and telling your friends about. A must visit!

Amazing views! Did I mention Amazing views? 12 out of 10. The entire crew was the right amount of attentive! Faustus and Rose started every day with an amazing breakfast feast!!!! There were some minor issues (AC not working, couldn’t find how to fill the soaking tub by the sauna) but with wonder weather none were issues. Would definitely stay there again and again!!

My family and I spent an INCREDIBLE week at VillaPonti. The villa is gorgeous, super comfortable, very well equipped AND the views are STUNNING. We especially loved having family time around the fireplace, on the balconies and in the pool area. The hosts Chanel and Barbara were attentive, accommodating and super friendly. Definitely the BEST accommodation in the area!

Imagine the ultimate vacation sweet spot in paradise, and your imagination will never ever come close to the actual surreal experience of Villa Ponti Bellavista on Lake Como. Situated in what has to be the most idyllic spot on the entire lake. Villa Ponti Bellavista commands a view of the Lecco branch of Lake Como that mere photos and video will never do justice. It truly has to be experienced and savored first hand. And even then, you have to pinch yourself and keep asking "Am I dreaming!". This was literally what my wife and I asked each other numerous times over the course of our visit in the fall of 2021. Time stands still in this timeless place. We spent one entire afternoon lounging around the amazing infinity edge pool that has one of the most amazing views of Lake Como that has to be seen to be believed. The Sauna next to the pool is an added bonus. The palatial grounds rival most resorts that we've stayed at. All of this taken together took us to our Zen zone and made us forget the prior day of travel and it was the perfect tonic for our jet lag. The inside of the Villa is just as breathtaking. The suites are well appointed and spacious. The Bellagio Suite was our favorite and the balcony right off the suite meant we could could continue to take in the lake view and the majestic mountains beyond. We felt it was pointless to leave the Villa but, we had made dinner reservations in nearby Bellagio town center. Which was a quick fifteen minute car ride away. Which made us appreciate even more how special VPB was because it was so close to everything and yet a world away in the seclusion it provides. Situated in the charming village of Civenna it is truly pure magic. And you couldn't ask for better hosts than Barbara & Chanel. They saw to it that we wanted for nothing. From tips on restaurants and places to visit around the lake to recommendations on Italian wines. Our favorite to this day is the Amarone. If you're looking for a first-class experience in a world-class Villa this is the place. We're already planning our next trip. Grazie mille Barbara & Chanel.
