"If Nancy Meyers were to film a movie in Mexico, this adults-only hotel could very well be the set. The crisp, clean decor is simple yet sophisticated, with every corner and angle providing a sense of peace and tranquility. Villa Premiere markets to couples—who make up the majority of their clientele—but a number of duos come with friends for multi-day double (or triple) dates in paradise. Every room includes amenities that are frivolously fab: Choose between six types of pillows to sleep on, all with differing degrees of softness and support, and six different aromatherapy scents to permeate your quarters. Guests are guaranteed an oceanfront balcony, as well as complimentary butler service. With three sit-down restaurants and a hearty poolside menu on-site, there are more unique dining options here than at most nearby resorts with triple the occupancy. Orders are taken and charged via QR code on your room key wristband, a most efficient way to pay."

"Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway has a prime beachfront address that is within walking distance to the heart of downtown. The intimate 80-room adults-only resort features everything from yoga classes and beachfront Bali beds to a five-minute de-stressing massage and a personal concierge. Customize your room with a pillow and aromatherapy menu and then soak up the views of the Bay of Banderas from your ocean-view terrace. One of my most memorable experiences here was the private romantic dinner out on the jetty. Set at sunset, this gorgeous experience included a live violinist and three decadent courses." - Travel + Leisure Editors

I loved Villa Premier! Everything about it was exceptional! Our room was a fabulous honeymoon suite, with unending views and very comfortable. The cleanliness throughout the resort is commendable.||We were glad to have selected the all inclusive plan, making most planning unnecessary and the food and drinks delicious! We did venture to town for a couple of meals, but tbh, our meals at the Villa Premier were better. They have a variety of restaurants ranging from casual to more formal and all were so good. ||We were celebrating a special occasion and requested a private dinner on the elevated floor above one of the restaurants. The sunset was unforgettable and the meal was truly exquisite! Our server Diana made it truly memorable. Servers Estephania and Caesar among others were terrific.||We spent a good amount of time at the pools, spacious and comfortable and a fun bar pool. All of our needs were taken care of by Paul. He hustles all day to keep his clients well hydrated and happy! Thanks Paul!||After dark, LaPerla restaurant had an active bar scene. Met a number of awesome people there of all ages that added to our enjoyment. Alejandro is a drink specialist and knows how to keep guests happy!||Selecting a smaller, boutique resort was, I think, a major reason for our ability to interact with staff and guests. It was great fun!

We had an exceptional experience thanks to Paul, the pool concierge at the hotel. He was truly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our time by the pool was perfect. His hardworking nature was evident in how promptly and kindly he attended to our needs, always with a friendly smile.||What really made our days special, though, was his fantastic sense of humor and the entertaining stories he shared. His jokes and anecdotes kept us laughing and added a personal touch to our stay. Overall, Paul is a true asset to the hotel, and we’re grateful for the wonderful service and good vibes he brought to our visit.

Beautiful hotel and our room was decent too. You’re really paying for the view though. The AC worked great and kept our room cold on all 90+ degree days. The best part about this place is the staff. We didn’t have a single bad experience with anyone even though it was hot hot and everyone still had to wear long pants. Paul and the breakfast servers at the restaurant by the pool were the ones who really went above and beyond and made our trip. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Our first trip to Mexico, and it definitely won’t be our last! We spent most of our time poolside and quickly realized Paul and Alejandro are absolute stars. Paul greeted us with the warmest welcome, and Alejandro kept the drinks flowing all day with perfect timing and a smile.||One moment I’ll never forget: after overhearing me mention hibiscus dishes, Paul surprised me the next day with hibiscus ice cream by the pool. That kind of thoughtful touch says everything.||He and the entire Villa Premiere team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and feel like a VIP, Villa Premiere is it.

This is a beautiful resort in so many ways. The location is great as is the food but most of all it is the people who work here. Paul is amazing at running the pool and making sure every detail is taken care of. Alejandro at La Perla is a master mixologist. We also enjoyed so many great staff people to include Victor, Alan, Gabriella and Jorge. We are most thankful for a wonderful vacation!

Paul, the outdoor attendant, was incredible. He was very personable and always made sure we were taken care of. The service was amazing they took pride in making sure we were taken care of regardless of our needs. Can’t recommend this resort enough!

Hotel is small and personal. Staff is the friendliest staff I have come across. There is friendly and there is family staff if there is such a thing. Even got invited to the football finals. Which they WON! Also, met some of the families too. They are truly a great staff. So if you looking for great 5 star hotel in Puerto Vallarta. Here it is.

My partner and I came here for the first time and it will definitely not be the last! We had an amazing week staying here and cannot say good enough things about it. Every room has an incredible view, the hotel and rooms are clean, updated and spacious. The beds are comfy, and there is a pillow and aromatherapy menu so you can customize it to your liking. The adults only made it very relaxing and the pool chairs were comfy as well. The resort is located right on the beach and only 20 mins away from the airport so it’s very convenient. It is also walking distance to downtown PV if you’re wanting to explore or walk the Malecón. The two things that stood out the most for us were the service from the staff and the amazing food. The staff were top notch! They were so kind, courteous and made you feel like family. Every interaction we had was great and felt so special the entire time. If I could list everyone I would, but here is some of the staff that were so incredible; Saul, David, Jorge, Adonai, Noel, Armando, Victor, Gabriela, Dario, Mario, Christian, Cesar, and Alejandro. THE FOOD!!! We have never been to an all inclusive but Villa Premiere has now set our standards very high. I was not disappointed once from any of the meals we had there during the week. I appreciate the themed nights they have as well, so there is a variety of choices. My favourite restaurant was La Perla, and am still thinking about the food I ate there. We even tried going to the sister resort’s buffet (next door) because access to it was also included but never went back because the food was not nearly as good as it was at Villa. Thank you everyone at Villa for the amazing stay! We hope to back soon and look forward to visiting again.

Yelp
Another ah-mazing stay at our favorite getaway. Yes, the crowd is older )no need to worry about how you look in a swimsuit!), yes there are only 2 restaurants (now 3; all fabulous) and yes, this not a place for rowdiness....THATS WHY WE LOVE IT HERE!

Yelp
This resort is more on the relaxing vibe rather than party/entertainment. Very quiet and most of the guests were elderly people (about 90%) - we went end of Feb. So I do not recommend coming here if you're celebrating something like a bachelorette/bachelor party and want something more lively. They only had 2 restaurants open. One of them was open for both brunch/dinner while the other was only open during dinner hours. Good amount of food selections to choose from. Food was good. There's 24hour room service which was nice as well. I recommend getting the burger. There's only 2 pools. One main one and a smaller one with a swim up bar. The lounging chairs gets taken pretty quickly. So if you see one open, I would suggest that you put a towel on it to claim it. The beach is down below which was great cause we got to see an amazing view of the sunset. You also get a free 5 min massage every day by the lobby. You'll just have to wait and see if the masseuse is there. If you want to get an actual massage, I recommend going to the sister hotel right next door. Prices are cheaper and I got the "relaxing" massage and I very much enjoyed it. They also had a jacuzzi there as well while this resort didn't. When you check out, make sure they go over the charges with you. There were some charges that we did not purchase which they took out for us. My cousin also got a random charge on her credit card from the resort a month later! So definitely gotta double check.

Yelp
Picture this: You step into Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, and suddenly, you're whisked away to a world of pure luxury and relaxation. From the moment you arrive, it's like you've entered a dreamy oasis where every detail is perfectly curated to make you feel pampered. Checkin included a complimentary 10 min massage, and since this was a birthday and anniversary trip they also treated us to a glass of champagne. Just what we needed after a flight to get here. The vibe here is luxury with great attention by all the staff. A modern style and classic Mexican charm that just makes you feel right at home. And let me tell you about the rooms - they're like something out of a magazine, with plush beds and gorgeous sea views that took our breath away. The real standout at Villa Premiere is the service. The staff are like your own personal concierge team, always ready to go above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible stay. They'll help you plan excursions, recommend the perfect spot for dinner, help set up romantic surprises or just chat with you like old friends. If you're looking for a getaway that's equal parts luxury and laid-back, look no further than Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel. It's the kind of place that'll make you never want to leave - and trust me, you won't blame yourself for feeling that way.

Yelp
This was my first time to Puerto Vallarta! I know right.... I've been all over Mexico, but somehow I missed PVR. As you already know, this is a smaller, boutique hotel. Lately I've been preferring the smaller hotels when I travel. However, its sister (or Mother) hotel is located next door. I can't recall the name, but you're allowed to utilize their pool, bars, gym, restaurants as well. It's a bigger hotel/resort that has more of a family vibe. Villa Premiere is an adult only hotel. Everybody was very friendly and accommodating. We had a few issues. One issue was with the AC (it would not let us change the temperature) and the headboard on the bed (it fell off; weird). For both incidents the response was prompt! They fix things right away! We had a honeymoon suite with the hot tub on the deck/balcony/veranda. That was the BEST thing we could have done. We were in the hot tub every night. AND the water was HOT. I forgot to mention we were there for New Years so we were also able to watch the fireworks while taking a dip. It was great! While we were there the water was rough, so we never got to spend time on the beach. I think this was the first vacation I can remember (to a beach destination) that we didn't lay on the beach and get in the water. We spent the majority of the time at the pool and checking out the local vibe. The pool was almost 25m, which allowed me to get in some laps. There was also a pool bar (a smaller pool with a bar). We spent some time in there as well and, as you can imagine, that's where most people dwell. There were 2 restaurants open while we were there. One for breakfast, lunch, dinner and one that was only open for dinner. The food was very good. By the way, we did the all-inclusive. We also found some very good spots in town as well (the Romantic Zone). As for the drinks, you'll need to ask for top shelf liquor. I feel as though we were getting low quality liquor. They even differentiate between wine and champagne. If you ask for champagne they will bring you sparking wine. When I finally figured this out I said, 'NO, REAL champagne'. They'll make your mimosa, etc. with sparkling wine unless you differentiate and tell them what you REALLY want. You'd figure you'd get champagne if you asked for champagne, but....no. As others have mentioned, I too was a bit bothered by the constant request for tips. AND I'm a tipper. I just don't like being asked every single time. Well, I take that back. There were a few occasions when the server did not ask for a tip and I made it my business to tip them even more. Overall, it was a good stay!

Yelp
This is a beautiful resort. We were pleased with the gorgeous, comfortable room and the amazing views. We went with the all-inclusive option; many cucumber margaritas and room service breakfasts were enjoyed. Most of the people we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. For an upcharge, we chose to partake in the private dinner. There were a few things I ordered out there and got the wrong item, which was a little bit of a bummer at this price point. We had a great experience at the spa. There are only three on-site restaurants and one of them was closed, also a bit of a disappointment when there are so few options. Upon check out we were given someone else's bill. We straightened it out later, but this was an easily avoidable snafu and put a bit of a damper on our exit. The location is great, super safe and easy access to the Malecon area. This was my first time in Puerto Vallarta, thanks to Villa Premiere it won't be my last.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and we had an amazing experience. The hotel is small and adults-only, so it's extremely peaceful and quiet. All of the employees, from the concierges to the custodians to the servers, provided excellent customer service. We enjoyed the variety of food, especially since an all-inclusive package gets you access to their sister hotel next door as well. Their spa is beautiful and every service felt luxurious. I cannot speak highly enough of Villa Premiere and all of its staff! I recommend this resort for couples who want a tranquil escape - definitely get the all-inclusive package!

Alex M.

Yelp
We loved this resort. Wife and I spent our anniversary here, and it was great. The beach wasn't crowded, the cabanas were wonderfully peaceful and didn't have to wait to long to get one (first come first served) The room was comfortable and had a great view (top floor, jacuzzi tub in bathroom, balcony) The area is quiet and calm. We considered staying in zona romantica but were glad we didn't. And Zona R was easy to get to via Uber or 20-30 stroll along the boardwalk. All the staff at Villa Premiere were lovely, SO friendly. And the bar drinks were sweet but tasty. drinks from the pool bar were weaker but that makes sense. We didn't do the all inclusive option, which worked out fine because there are so many good restaurants in the city. However, the restaurants on site and room service were quite good. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
Went for my birthday in May. The hotel was beautiful and quaint. Loved the adult only atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Shout out to Paul the pool attendant. He was kind, friendly and super helpful to myself and my mom.

Yelp
My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary. For this year, we wanted a place to where we could rest and relax. I found Villa Premiere through Costco travel, and it did not disappoint! We stayed in the honeymoon suite, and the biggest win for us were the amount of pillows! Staying in a lot of hotels, we always have to bring our own because hotel pillows are always flat and very few. Not here! There were a plethora of pillows. The room was very clean. A perk was having the pools/restaurants right on the beachfront. Although I normally love going into the ocean, we really just enjoyed sitting by poolside. We enjoyed the all-inclusive perk which was really nice. We didn't even have to leave the resort because the restaurants available were absolutely onolicious, breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They were also very friendly to chat with. Paul's your guy to help you with any need when you're at the pool! Gabriela and Adan surprised us on our anniversary with a plate of churros (my wife and Gabriela were talking about churros all week). I can't tell you enough how amazing the staff have been. We also enjoyed the spa, which I've never done before. But the employees were very understanding and helped me to have an enjoyable experience. We recommend if you visit Villa Premiere, check in on the all-inclusive package or even member package. Even though our meals and drinks were covered, we still tipped our servers (the packages don't cover their tips and they go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable experience). If you're looking for a resort that offers plenty of late night activities or close to the "action" of the town, this resort might not be what you're looking for. But if you're looking for an adult only resort, to focus on relaxation with a friendly staff and like minded people, this is the resort in Puerto Vallarta for you! We look forward to our next visit!

Bella H.

Yelp
Exceptional service. Very polite and professional staff. Beautiful hotel and very clean. Spa was amazing and very relaxing as well. We enjoyed every minute of staying here

Yesi G.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The entire staff is so kind and welcoming. The food is amazing the drinks too . Enrique and Alejandro make the absolute best drinks!!!!!! Edgar, Hugo and Javier all went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of! I can't forget Paul, if you come here you have to get with Paul and set up paddle boarding. This entire trip was amazing thanks to the staff!

Douglas L.

Yelp
Hola, Bienvenidos... what a great time we had. This was our first visit to Puerto Vallarta and we were so pleasantly pleased with the Villa Premiere, the accommodations, the restaurants, the drinks, but particularly the staff. From our initial arrival to our departing day, we were never disappointed by anybody working concierge, restaurants, housekeeping, or our favorite, the pool attendant, Paul. While this review was for our trip in November of 2022, we were so delighted that we are returning in a couple weeks with friends to celebrate Mike's 50th birthday. We hope that everyone from November is still there when we return, and we are so looking forward to a repeat of the good times we had. Muchas gracias, hasta luego.

Yelp
The service and the people working here are very nice but that's about it. We got the all inclusive and ate at the restaurants and got room service. The food was always very bland or poor. The drinks are equally unimpressive. At one meal, they sold us a $260 bottle of wine without telling us the price or warning us that it was not part of the all inclusive. On a Friday night they hosted a wedding with pounding bass coming from the beach until midnight. We had all the windows and doors closed but the music was so overwhelmingly loud that we could not sleep. When we complained to the hotel, they told us the wedding was part of different management and couldn't do anything. This was not the relaxing and romantic experience I paid for. Maybe all hotels in this area have these problems, in which case I recommend Hawaii for your vacation.

Sam A.

Yelp
I'm so glad we picked this hotel for our honeymoon! Our hotel room was clean and it had a view of the ocean and a large hot tub on the balcony. There was a beautiful pool with tons of seating available, access to the beach, and pool/beach side service for drinks and food. The location of the hotel is perfect- a 10 min drive from everything, and a very cute neighborhood with great restaurants just a 2 min walk away. You can even walk along the boardwalk to the other areas of PV very easily, and the hotel is close to the airport too. We usually try to stay away from hotel food when we travel, but the quality of food was actually very high quality. Tons of delicious room service options and AMAZING breakfast at their restaurant that has a beautiful view of the beach. The mornings are so peaceful. The spa at the hotel was also A+. Not necessarily cheap, but we loved our massages and body scrubs. One of the highlights of the trip. The staff were all kind, attentive, and worked hard to make sure that we were receiving high quality service.

Sal E.

Yelp
I'm pretty picky and this place makes it challenging for me to find problems. Nothing in this world is perfect but this place is pretty close. Mostly all the staff is wonderful and genuine in their care for others. Actually here there are excellent and outstanding employees in every department. Isabel was our first impression to the Villa Premiere and she was the pace setter of amazingness. There was a bellman who was top notch, and a concierge woman who made us feel so comfortable. Then there were an abundance of servers in the restaurants, housekeepers for the rooms, message therapists in the spa, and managers & supervisors throughout who upheld the highest standards. It was a treasured and memorable experience.

Bee J.

Yelp
My wife and I were there for my birthday the week of June 10th-15th. We usually stay at larger all-inclusive like the RIU. After staying at the Villa Premiere never again. Villa Premiere is truly a small boutique hotel but it was exceptional right from the beginning. Walking in, you are greeted by a very friendly staff including valet. After check in you get a 5min massage which truly sets the tone for your experience. Then you notice how clean the hotel is. We got a Honeymoon Sweet which was very clean with an amazing view. Daily room service was on point every day and the Housekeeper was so sweet and kind. The beds were very comfy including your choice of pillow. We both slept well every night, especially being served by generous bartenders throughout the day. I surprised me on my actual birthday with balloons and champagne with the assistance Lourdes who was so helpful, caring and just sweet. She helped make my day even more special. Give Lourdes a raise she works her butt off. All and I mean ALL of the food was really good, including the late night room service. If you like Buffalo wings you have to try there's. Spicy but sweet. On our last night we ate at their restaurant La Corona and it was EXCEPTIONAL. Every entre was amazing including the staff. It give you a fine dining feel. Is the Villa Premiere pricey, maybe. But if you want to relax without kids, enjoy good food, have great service in a relaxed environment, then this is the place for you. By far one of the best experiences I have had while traveling. Tips: Taxis and Ubers (no Lyft) are safe and super cheap. No need to overpay for pre-transportation. Do not bring Vape Pens into this part of Mexico, you will be fined big time. Also bring singles for tips eventhough they don't ask.

Margaret T.

Yelp
It's a small resort with a tiny pool and no jacuzzi. Staff was pretty pleasant and accommodating for the most part. I stayed here for a bachelorette party and opted for the all-inclusive package so meals and drinks were included. The food was surprisingly good here! I can't think of a single dish I didn't enjoy. There are two restaurants located on site and room service was an option as well. For the restaurant overlooking the beach, you have the option to book the top floor to yourself if requested in advance. The gym is small but empty when I visited. There's enough to get a decent work-out in, but no mats were available. The only thing that I didn't quite enjoy was getting billed for champagne that we never asked for. If we had requested a bottle of champagne, that's a completely different story. To add further insult to injury, it wasn't even good quality champagne!!

Caitlin M.

Yelp
We absolutely loved staying here. Our room was really clean, the service was excellent. We weren't able to attend all the restaurants unfortunately since they were setting up for a large event that weekend but the food we had was fantastic. Definitely a great go to spot for a weekend getaway

Tracy R.

Yelp
My husband and I come here once a year. The BEST staff, amazing food, and incredible views! My husband ended up having a scary seizure at the resort the last time we went (we have been there 4 times previously) the staff, guests, and in staff doctor were amazing! They took such great care of us, and always felt the treatment was 5 star! We plan to come back every year! Such a quiet relaxing kid free place!

Ulrick M.

Yelp
Solid hotel for PV's old town. The rooms are clean and cool, the location is perfect and the views magnificent. Only complaint is how slow the service is at breakfast. We have not eaten other meals at the restaurants onsite. The restaurants in town are much better, in terms of options, and price. Whenever we get approached to sign up for the time share we just tell them we've heard the spiel before.. which we had and were asked to leave because we asked too many questions.

Yelp
Villa Premiere is remarkable and offers everything you want in a resort, but at a lower price and with a more intimate experience. Quality: 5 Value: 5 Service: 5 Ambience: 5 We stayed here during our honeymoon for 4 nights in 2021 September, in the honeymoon suite, without the all-inclusive option. This resort has only around 100 rooms, so the staff and overall experience is much more focused on you as an individual guest. This resort also has all of the perks and amenities you want from one of the mega-resorts closer to the airport. They have three restaurants, two pools, a deck on the beach, and a large private beach space, plus great room selections and the beautiful stone jetty for photos and their chef's table experience. They also have a FANTASTIC SPA. I have chronic lower back pain and am a bit of a spa snob. They offer a steam room, and a sauna, and a full range of many different massages. For deep tissue pain relief, ask for Diana for your masseuse (terapista). The rooms and common spaces were always perfectly clean and there was always a staff member fluent in both English and Spanish ready to attend to anything you wanted, from drinks to food to booking tours. This really is a remarkable place and we will be booking here again when we return to Puerto Vallarta. Additionally, what you pay here is far lower than what you pay at the mega-resorts, and I feel like the experience is just far superior

Anila Y.

Yelp
Still at the airport and already missing Villa Premiere!!! We had the most relaxing stay for four nights at VP! We opted out of the all-inclusive option because we wanted to be able to try the restaurants in PV. However, we took full advantage of the pool bar and snack service. The highlight of our PV trip was chillaxing in the pool bar overlooking the beach with cold beers in hand. As someone who has a hard time relaxing and letting go, I was truly able to relax and unwind in this setting. The rooms were immaculate in terms of cleanliness which helped us feel safe during Covid times. The service was also spot on and prompt. We could hear the waves crashing all day from our room which made for a very deep and peaceful night's rest. Knocking off a star because the food options aren't great. They had a full vegetarian menu, but the food wasn't spectacular, nor were there many Mexican options. If you are making a trip all the way to Mexico, I recommend venturing out of the resort and trying the many hole-in-the-wall places surrounding the hotel. We also did not receive some of the listed amenities such as the welcome massage and pillow of our choice. The location of VP is ideal--walkable to so many cafes and the more touristy areas, but also far enough away from Centro/Zona Romantica that it's still peaceful and not chaotic. We felt perfectly safe walking around the area after dark. Honestly would love to return here if a return trip to PV is in the cards for us.

Yelp
Long Story Short: My husband and I got food poisoning and management handled it terribly. Unfortunately, our stay here was very disappointing. My husband and I arrived on Sunday night and had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant. Monday, we spent a lot of time at the swim up bar and enjoyed shrimp tacos for lunch overlooking the beach. It started off on a good note. Ten hours later, I woke up to spend the rest of my night on the toilet violently sick from both ends. My husband then fell ill Tuesday morning with the same symptoms and was sick all of Tuesday. We both experienced diarrhea, vomiting, chills, and fatigue for hours - all symptoms of food poisoning. On Tuesday, we were unable to make it to our excursion that we booked through the hotel because we were so sick. In order to get a refund on the excursion - we needed a doctors note. I brought this to management's attention and explained that we had not left or had anything to eat or drink away from Villa Premier since our arrival (it had been over 24 hours since being at Villa Premier that we started experiencing these symptoms, so it is very unlikely we got it before our stay). I asked management to refund the hotel doctors visit if he diagnosed us food poisoning. He agreed. Even though we displayed all the symptoms of food poisoning, the hotel doctor refused to even mention the words. He diagnosed us with an "upset stomach and excess food and alcohol." It was interesting that this was the diagnosis because the doctor didn't even ask us about what we had to eat or drink during our visit. It was clear to us that the manager (Hector) spoke to him before we got there. Even though the doctor implied we just ate and drank too much, he prescribed us antibiotics... which confirms he thought there was bacteria in our gut. It wasn't until our last day of vacation and after a lot of back and forth during our entire stay that Hector finally offered $150 off our stay. Unfortunately, the doctors visit for the both of us (including medicine) was almost $400. Throughout our conversations, Hector never said the words "food poisoning," and would not take accountability for how our stay was affected. He didn't do anything to reassure us that they would take this seriously. Hector admitted that other guests had also reported "upset stomachs" but they got over it quickly (implying that we should get over it). Anyways, maybe the stay is great if they don't get you sick. But if they do, they will have no empathy for you and will fight you tooth and nail on making it right. Maybe they didn't care because we were all inclusive so they already had our money. Who knows, but it was an unfortunate way to spend our two year anniversary. Food poisoning happens. Even at the best of restaurants. But Villa Premier didn't seem to care that it happened at all.

Yelp
This is the premiere resort to stay when in Vallarta, close to romantic zone and can walk the beach from here to Los Muertos Pier. The staff are so friendly, helpful, kind and speak good English for anyone worried about not knowing Spanish. The food here was decent, but the drinks were delicious. Beach front day beds to lounge was a plus, nice soft sandy beach not much rocks or shells. Sand is hot tho!!! The beds were soft and select aromatherapy for the pillows, helps the sleep. Ocean view and balcony was amazing day and night views. I loved this hotel and bathroom was a bit small but next time I will splurge on the bigger room with jacuzzi tub! This will be my go to when I return for my next visit. Front entrance door men were helpful with umbrellas (rainy season) getting Uber and most places within walking distance. Even at late arrival there was someone always in lobby security and staff to assist. We loved our stay!!!

Yelp
Originally planned to stay here for my husband's 50th birthday trip back in 2020 but the pandemic hit and we had to reschedule to 2021. Had to cancel again b/c of Omicron and rescheduled to 2022. (Villa Premiere was very understanding and accommodating in our rescheduling!). Finally got to stay here last week and it was worth the wait!! Hotel: Beautiful, clean, spacious (even though it may be smaller than some other resorts including sister hotel next door). 80 rooms. All rooms have ocean front view as the hotel is directly on beach. You get a glass of champagne and a 5 mins massage upon check in. The hotel located at the end of town so it is a little bit of a walk to the Malecon (5 city blocks), but perfect if you want to have access to city but not sleep with loud city noise. Amenities (that we used): 2 pools - 1 large one and 1 heated one connected to swim up bar. Comfortable pool chairs and pool towels provided. Alejandro and Jorge provided great poolside service and Paul "the pool guy" graciously provided and other pool need (umbrella adjustments, etc). There are chairs available on the beach as well and cabanas (they were being rebuilt due to the hurricane but up an running before we left). All chairs, cabanas, and Bali beds are first come first serve. Gym- small but has essentials - (free weights, machines, treadmills, elliptical, fridge with bottled water). The beautiful grass "jetty" with gazebo was unfortunately destroyed by the hurricane (which affected a wedding that was to occur there - but the resort quickly rebuilt a beautiful alternative which shows their commitment to customer service). All Inclusive: We did this and it was our first time ever doing one. They gave us a bracelet that we wore the entire time and it was scanned for everything that we ate/drank. (It was also used as our door key too). They put a $300 hold on your card for any incidentals outside of the inclusive - like tips or upgrades to meals like adding lobster). I wasn't sure how tipping worked with all inclusive but seeing as how the service was AMAZING each and every time, I tipped something each time. The tips came off the $300 hold - which made it easy. The prices for the food and drinks were relative to a boutique resort and do add up quickly, so we found the all inclusive option to be better for us. It was also good in a pinch as it includes room service (for early breakfast) and our fridge was stocked with some of our favorite drinks (that they ask you about before you come). The all inclusive includes amenities at their larger sister resort next door (Hotel Grand Buenaventura). The buffet at the Grand is awesome (we went for breakfast twice) Restaurants: La Ceiba - open air, right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Had theme nights for dinner (Mexican, Italian, Spanish, etc) with upscale food and presentation. Breakfast menu was really diverse. We never had a bad dish!! And even ate octopus for the first time! The service is amazing!!!! On our second day there, they knew how we took our coffees. Shoutouts to Edgar, Armando and Cristian for making our dining experiences memorable, comfortable, and wonderful. La Corona - air conditioned restaurant with smaller menu but great food. We didn't eat there as we were drawn to the different menus at La Ceiba and the servers we came to know so well. Morales - this restaurant was closed the entire time we were there. This was kind of a bummer to me because for an all inclusive of a smaller resort, having only 2 restaurant options seemed limiting. But again - you get access to buffet and restaurants next door too. Room: we had deluxe room with a beautiful view and it was perfect for us. We had a lot of plans for excursions and sightseeing (as it was Day of the Dead), so we weren't in the room much. The bed was comfy and you get to pick a pillow from a menu (soft to firm) as well as a scent (incense) you would like. Room Included iron, board, hairdryer, safe, robes, Keurig coffee maker, stocked fridge. Shower had high shower head and water pressure was adequate. (Don't forget "C" = caliente = hot, "F" = frio = cold). We made sure we always had bottled water in the room to drink and brush teeth with. We did have a leak under our sink with water dripping and running down floor that was tended to when we told the front desk. Room service was about a 35 minute wait and food was hot. Service: From front desk (shoutout to Isabel), to concierge (shoutout to Mariana), to restaurant, pool, and housekeeping - the service here is INCREDIBLE!!!! They truly make you feel welcomed and cared for. We even asked about how to rent a car and they arranged to have a car from National delivered to the hotel for us and then have National come and pick up the next day. Villa Premiere made our first trip to Puerto Vallarta such a memorable one. We absolutely will stay here when we come back!

Yelp
My wife and I booked this through our Costco vacation packages. It is located in the heart of PV and conveniently located a few minutes walk from the boardwalk( nightlife, shopping!) and amazing taco spots. It is about a 20 minute ride to the airport as well as Vallarta adventures ( local tour agency) Since it was our first time here in PV we decided to go with the all inclusive package. I hope I can answer the questions we had when looking this place up. We were extremely worried since the weather showed that it would be storming all week. It did rain , but it came down it short quick bursts which helped cool things down and the rest of the day was beautiful weather. Tip: memorize your room number ASAP , they need it to keep track of your charges on account. There are 3 restaurants on site and access to additional ones at their sister hotel next door if you are all inclusive. For the 3 restaurants ( sorry I can't remember the names!) - breakfast served at La ceiba- is consistently great! They had lots of Mexican dishes my mom used to make me when I was young with a nice flair or twist. Plus they bring out pan dulce as an appetizer every morning. They also offer healthy breakfast choices which makes it super easy for my fellow macro counters. 5 stars. Lunch-la Ceiba-For the most part very good. I was not a fan of certain seafood items but then again I'm more of a meat eater. 4 stars Dinner- available at 2(or 3 locations depending on day of the week) dinner was not bad. Since I was on vacation I decided to explore the cuisine a bit. I recommend sticking to the steak and chicken items. They are well done. Stick to la ceiba !! Some of items at La Coro is were meh. 3 1/2 stars Although they state they have 3 restaurants one is only open for dinner twice a week( I think Tuesday and Thursday) Which is a shame since It Mexican themed and had a much better menu than the more Americanized la corona. But I mean you cater to the clientele. Room service - available 24 hours- everything they got right was great. For some reason they put some sort of anchovies on a Cesar salad. They also accidentally brought a few incorrect items. MAKE SURE to have them repeat the order back to you and check the food when they arrive. Sister hotel/restaurant- we went over once and didn't get an opportunity to try anything there. It had much more families and kids out and about. We stuck to our side where it is nice and relaxing! #TeamNoKids . Service- 10 freaking stars!! The entire staff goes above and beyond to make your experience amazing and enjoyable. On one of the dinners I had mentioned to an employee I was craving an item and he had the cooks make it and brought it out to us even though it's not even on the menu! They are AMAZING! Make sure you bring plenty of small bills to tip the workers , they work hard and deserve it. Tips Drinks- 10-20 pesos per drink, so every time I ordered one I would give a dollar. Restaurants- between 5-10$ depending on the cost stated on the bill. The staff will remember your name and everything you like or dislike Hotel - very clean, has 2 pools and access to a small private beach. No one will come up to the hotel but occasionally people selling items will try to get your attention. A polite no thank you is all that is needed. Also has a small "gym" which is not bad for all my yelpers who like to get their lifts in. I was able to hit chest , shoulders , biceps and triceps with their small amount of equipment. There are NO racks and it's mostly dumbbells with one flat bench , one treadmill and a couple of elliptical. If you need more , this place is a short walk to a gym that offers a day pass for 2.50$. For my gains squad - bring protein powder. Chicken and steak items are an ok portion but not enough to hit your protein goals. I was consistently under all week. Bring scoops to supplement. Tip: Grab a seat at the cabana or restaurant around 8:45 and you can finish up dinner right around sunset and enjoy a cocktail until 9:30 when an old pirate ship in the bay goes around shooting fireworks. *Check out Vallarta tours for anything you are considering doing while there. The concierge will ask you if you would like to sit through one of their presentations for 20% off a tour booking. Since I was on vacation I didn't want to spend an hour and a half of my time doing that. But not to worry Yelp Fam. I GOT YOU. If you research the tours ahead of time , and book it at least 48 hours in advance you automatically get 15% off! *Use Uber as your primary way to get around. It's super cheap. This place was absolutely stunning and we will for sure be back one day. I felt that the all inclusive package was worth it. taking everything into account , food , quality of service , employees , location , etc I rate this hotel 5 stars!!!! For authentic taco fans check out Pepe's tacos down the street. Locals also reckoned el Carboncito which is on the next street over.

Yelp
The service here is OUT OF THIS WORLD! From the moment you check in, to the time you have your first meal. They call you daily to see if they can improve on anything for your experience. You can book discounted boat tours from the convenience of the lobby. Don't get me started on the AMAZING MASSAGES!! The drinks are all good, definitely get the job done ‍ every single meal is delicious!! It's truly stunning!!! Even the room service is plated to the T! This is an absolutely amazing experience you NEED to do at least once! May their business thrive and thank you for our wonderful memories this week

Yelp
This is a cute boutique hotel. Close to downtown. The saff is nice, and helpful. Food was good too, but they only had one restaurant for lunch and breakfast. Wish they had more options. Good thing was that we were able to visit the sister property next door. It was much more happening and alive at night. Our hotel was dead by 10:30 pm. The hotel is great for a sleeping, eating, and more sleeping type of vacation. Our stay was nice but during meal times, we felt uncomfortable cos the waiters ask for tip at every meal, poolside orders. We've been to quiet a few all-inclusive hotels and have never been asked for tips.Though not mandatory and we are ok with the tipping culture but being asked for it everytime honestly just made our mealtimes a bit stressful. I wished they didn't ask guest who already have the all inclusive plan and make it feel so weird at the end of our meals/drinks.

Yelp
If you're looking for stellar service in a moderately luxury hotel within walking distance of the heart of old town Puerto Vallarta, then this is your destination spot. This is an adults-only hotel which means your time will be as relaxing as you want it. The ride from the airport can take 20-30 minutes depending on time of day. And after a bumpy ride as you roll into the driveway of the resort you are greeted by smiling staff who only want to make sure your first experience is stellar. The check-in process was a bit longer than I had wanted after a long flight, but it was just to make sure they had all our preferences correct and we understood the "inclusive" options we purchased. The cold, sweet beverage they provided while we registered was very helpful. I was worried I was going to be "sold" the whole time I was here (e.g. timeshare mania) but that didn't happen even once. Within 20 minutes after arriving, we were poolside enjoying sun, another beverage, and letting the stress melt away. We got the couples massage package at the spa (50 minute massage, 50 minute facial) and it was divine. Seriously, can I put another quarter in the machine and have another ride please?!?!?! Our stay was over New Years and they didn't disappoint. They decorated the pool area, brought in a traditional Mariachi band, other live entertainment, and plated a very tasty and beautifully presented five course meal. While so many of the staff were attentive and very helpful, Enrique stood out as my favorite -- always making sure that my favorite beverage was available and ensuring we were never thirsty, hungry, or needed anything. The rooms are comfortable (those beds and custom pillows!!) and the views from the rooms all face the ocean (though some of the corner suites at the end of the hallway have less an attractive view of the nearby lot). It's a nice, flat 30 minute walk to the heart of the old town district where beachside restaurants, bars, and events are plentiful. And don't worry about the vendors selling things on the beaches -- yes, there is a lot of them and they're persistent but never aggressive. A simple "no thanks" always moved them along. But be warned, there are nice things they're selling so make sure you have cash on hand (dollars or pesos) and don't be afraid to barter a bit.

Yelp
We were originally very excited for our stay at this resort last fall. That excitement didn't last long. When we showed up for our reservation last September the beach at the hotel was rocky, the water was murky, the room was small and musty and the food was mediocre. In fact, that first night was so bad that we decided to check out the next day per the cancellation policy posted on their website and confirmed in the reservation email. I anticipated having to pay for 2 days versus the 6 I had originally booked since the cancellation policy clearly states unless I checked out before noon, I would be charged for the night. I was totally OK with that. It was worth it to us to enjoy the rest of our stay in Puerto Vallarta... To my dismay, nearly 4 months later, I am still fighting to get my money back for the days I didn't stay at the resort. Even after being promised a refund by the Front Desk Manager, and even after disputing the charges with my credit card company twice, Villa Premier has refused to refund the money I paid for days I didn't stay at the resort even though their cancellation policy clearly states I was/am due a refund for the nights I didn't stay. I would warn anyone and everyone to stay far from this resort, unless you want the resort to steal your money.

Yelp
This hotel is simply amazing! My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we are hooked. It's the staff for us. Villa Premiere is a beautiful quiet and relaxing hotel in a prime location, but the staff is what will bring us back. We were catered to and cared for every single minute. Whatever we needed we got. My wife and I spent most of our time during the day poolside being pampered by the staff. The pool attendant Paul is a genuine and incredible human being. Whatever you need at the pool he will absolutely take care of you, he simply goes above and beyond to take care of all the guests. Paul is super personable and loves his job. There is a poolside bar with great staff as well. Jorge was our pool bar guy. He made sure our cups were never empty and by the third day had our drinks waiting for us by the time we got to our chairs. Jorge was also super personable and easy to connect with. Selfishly I hope when we go back in a year or two Paul and Jorge will still be working at Villa Premiere. In all, we felt special at Villa Premiere. The room was immaculate with incredible service. All the staff was amazing, here are some others that stood out, when you go to Villa Premiere take note! Lorena (front desk/management) Gustavo (La Corona lounge bar) Alejandro (La Ceiba) Gabriela (night hostess) Tammy (concierge)

Yelp
Pretty good choice for an all inclusive. Pros: Excellent service and staff. Be sure to tip them. They work hard and are super friendly. The food was all pretty good. I wasn't expecting much for all inclusive but I was surprised by the food. Some items are better than others. I would have liked more Mexican food as well. But overall it was good. Honeymoon suite was fun with the tub on the patio. It's near town as well. Beach was nice, but it was a little too strong of a current to swim. Pretty decent Covid safety as the staff all wear masks and all the restaurants are outside/open air. But more on that later. Cons: the pools are smaller so it was a little crowded when we were there. The drinks on the website look a lot better than what they are when you're there. But I mostly think that's because of the clientele. Which was my biggest issue. It's advertised as a romantic destination but when we were there there were larger groups there to party. Not the vibe we wanted. Obviously the hotel can't control that, but be warned. Lots of people just coming to drink as much as possible, which is why I don't think much care was put into the cocktails. The room next to us was noisy. It got a little better mid week but still some obnoxious people. The hotel says no seat saving but people did it anyway, and since they're so accommodating they didn't really enforce that rule. And they require masks in common areas, but again, no one follows that. My wish: I also would have liked a grab and go bar with snacks, pastries, fruits, etc. The only food you can get is from the kitchen, which closes twice during the day. Some snacks in the room or available at the pool would be nice. With all that said, I would stay here again.

Yelp
I'm very confused to how this got a 4 Diamond award. The hotel is the size of a motel. The next door property looks like an old jail or something and there is a hideous awning below the balconies all of which ruin the view. The hotel rooms are old and outdated. The food was just ok. We lost power due to a storm for half of the stay and they only wanted to refund us 50% of one day. We literally had no a/c or lights in the room. Had to shower in the dark. Couldn't charge our phones. Restaurants had limited menus. Workers in restaurants were rude. Pools are small af and were packed. Beach has the roughest sand and is filled w rocks and pan handlers. This is not at all a luxury stay. Felt very much like a cheap motel w out of place fancy restaurants. Spa was inside a room ‍ told massage therapist to be firm 5 times with no luck. She used only one hand or elbow half the time. There was no a/c or lights in the "spa" and they still charged full price. Even without the electricity issue the hotel would still be pretty low or non existent on the luxury scale. I'm guessing this area of Mexico is not known for its fancy resorts but their prices aren't cheap enough to justify the lack of luxury. I would never return.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY ROBBED and ROLLED - I was drugged at this place, robbed and lucky enough to escape being raped. This hotel is a crime syndicate, they willl rob you and attempt to OB you. I was lucky to leave with my life. They stole every cent I had in my room, they physically touched me, I have bruises from the roughness. They kept my money for the room I paid, that I never got to use after being robbed and physically assaulted. Don't stay here they will steal from you and potentially assault you. I'm lucky I lived. The scam is to get the patrons as drunk as humanly possible, then say you're to drunk to know what's going on. Please watch who makes your drinks, whatever they gave me almost killed me. This is not a safe place, they just want money and have no issue on how they get it. They are thieves and criminals, I'm severely traumatized and minus a lot of money. Mexico is not what it used to be, they clearly steal more to recover revenue from covid.

Yelp
We recently stayed at this location and enjoyed our stay. Since we prefer smaller hotels for adults only this was the perfect setting. It is within walking distance of the PV boardwalk and accessible to the beach. The meals at the restaurants are deliciously healthy and staff is very courteous and accommodating. The concierge staff helped arrange tours and aromatherapy appointments. We will definitely use their services in the future.

Yelp
Had a great time staying here and will certainly come again! It's a nice, romantic hotel with good food, incredibly attentive staff and an amazing location. The rooms are spacious, with beautiful views, and immaculately clean. The staff is very attentive - they will remember your preferences, allergies and food/drink orders and make sure you feel very cared for. The spa is very nice - the hot stone massage was one of the best I've ever had. We chose the all inclusive option, which was worth every penny. There are three restaraunts on site,, plus the pool bar with good snacks. You can can use the amenities of the next-door hotel, though we never ventured there. On the other hand, there are plenty of little restaraunts around, and you're only a 10min walk from the Malecon (the Boardwalk). There is covid testing on site- takes about 1hr to get yoir results over email. BTW, this is an adult-only hotel, only guests 18+.

Yelp
We stayed at the villa premier for 5 days and over the course of my time at the hotel my rating went from a 2 star to 5 Star. Here's why: we had an initial problem with our room, there was a constant knocking noise coming from the air condition. When we talked to the front desk we were disappointed at the way they responded to our complaints and were frustrated that we had a rough first night. However, the inconvenience was quickly rectified by the manager, Alessandro, and after that we received excellent customer service all around. Alessandro was understanding and took the time to listen to our concerns then offered solutions. Perhaps the best thing about this hotel is the location and tranquil vibe. As soon as you walk into the hotel you feel relaxed and welcomed into an luxurious paradise. Upon arrival you are greeted with warm smiles, champagne and a massage teaser! Adult only helps to keep the pool area calm and relaxing. This is not the type of party-hard, adults only place. It's more... classy, relaxing and serene. Lots of couples, but we were a group of 4 ladies and enjoyed being their without a partner! Pool is small, but nice. Walk down a few steps from the pool and you're on a quiet white sand beach with comfortable lounge chairs and day beds for guests to enjoy free of cost. Walk 5-10 minutes outside the hotel and you're in the middle of the culture, shopping, restaurants and bars downtown. This location can't be beat! We decided not to do all inclusive because we like to try different places but we did enjoy some good meals at the restaurant. One thing to keep in mind is the service is a little slow for breakfast especially when busy. But just sit back and enjoy the view and you'll be fine! Soon they'll bring you some delicious coffee and warm pan dulce to start off your morning. They also have yoga on the beach every morning at 9am, great stress reliever! I plan to visit Villa Premiere on future visits to Puerto Vallarta and look forward to thanking Alessandro for taking care of us and addressing our concerns. This is what being treated like a valued guest is all about! Great experience!

Yelp
Absolutely exceptional! This is a boutique hotel so you won't feel lost amongst hundreds of tourists. We were celebrating our anniversary at the Villa Premiere and they did such a great job of making us feel special. The short welcome massage, as well as letting you select your pillow and scent preferences for your room are a testament to the level of detail and care they take during your stay. The location couldn't be any better either. It was only a 15 minute walk to the start of the Malecon and so close to all the great restaurants we wanted to try. A nice tidbit: we booked a night food tour through Vallarta Food Tours and it ended just a few blocks from Villa Premiere -- so convenient!

Yelp
First and utmost, let me start by complimenting the hotel & the wonderful staff for the extreme measures they have taken due to COVID-19. Sanitizing, distancing, cleaning, masks, you name it, they had it. Not only they had implemented all CDC guidelines, the resort was spotless. It truly is a little boutique hotel with elegant rooms all facing the ocean, beautifully decorated and full of spectacular quotes on every floor. Take the stairs to your room and read each and every one of them. Brilliant. Then, I would like to thank the staff for their professionalism, friendliness, kindness, service, and flexibility. Although everyone was wearing masks, I could see the smiles through their eyes. I can't remember everyone's names as we were there on Thanksgiving weekend 2020, but I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation to Isabella whose name I can not forget. She's an asset to this hotel. The location of the hotel is very convenient and a walking distance from Malecon, Temple of our Lady Guadalupe, even to Zona Romantica which is a beautiful, colorful, and an artistic area. Uber is convenient & inexpensive. The drinks were refreshing and delicious. When it comes to their food...., let me just say that there are authentic restaurants everywhere outside the hotel. El Barracuda is a must and it's less than 10 feet away from the hotel. Ask locals for their hidden gems. Don't bother going to "italian" restaurants. Stick to the roots, authentic cuisines, grilled fish fresh off of the ocean, and mariachi. Book your tickets now! And don't forget to TIP. These employees go above and beyond to provide you with the utmost service and satisfaction. Be very kind and generous to them.

Yelp
We have been coming here multiple times over the last two decades. We always have a wonderful stay. The staff is excellent--friendly and attentive--at all levels. As an adults-only hotel, it is peaceful and relaxing. It is why you go on vacation to México. Our 8-day stay met all expectations. ++ The "bell boys". Julio and Isidro are so much more than that. Always at the top of their (and anyone else's) game. Isidro has been here for 16 years and Julio for 12. That tells you something. + "Pool boys". If you touch an umbrella, they are there in about 3 seconds. + Live music poolside. High quality and lots of variation. + Flowers in the bathroom. - Thin, scratchy toilet paper. They should do better. - No electrical illumination in the shower stall. A design flaw. - Not enough electrical outlets for all the chargers that we now carry on trips. -- The room thermostat. Cannot set the temp lower than 20°C and the motion detector keeps shutting the cooling system off. $2261 for 8 days for European plan. Not including tips and miscellaneous.

Yelp
IN LOVE! Finest Boutique Experience, Exceeding 'Four Seasons' Service. We first fell in love with this hotel in 2015, and are happy to say it's gotten even better. Top notch service, luxurious extras, and a staff that makes you feel like you are family. This hotel is for: - People who LOVE the small details and luxuries of high end boutique hotels - Couples, adult families, quiet seekers, retirees (We are 32 & 38) - People who like the ability to easily leave a resort and wander This hotel is NOT for: - Night life seekers, partiers LUXURY MENTIONS: Butler (with MANY perks), pillow menu, scent menu, warm pastries come on a hot slate tile, sunscreen bar at pool, books at pool, L'occtaine toiletries, wonderful presentation of food, real flower in bathroom, harp playing at breakfast, side tables on tanning chairs, live music, themed dinners, welcome massage and champagne, turn down service, NO plastic bracelets, stocked gym, great spa! Check in: Easy and fast. Glass of champagne, bags taken to room, welcome massage, pillow & aromatherapy menu, and visit with concierge (the lovely Maria) Room: Master Suite. Updated and renovated to pure excellence. The terrace is directly above the crashing ocean waves and gives an unobstructed panoramic view of Banderas Bay, and has a Jacuzzi tub! Inside you have a front hall closet, huge wooden sit-up bar with the BEST mini bar fridge I have ever seen (wonderful stocked as well), wine glasses, tea/coffee, dining table and view of the ocean. Living room has couch, Smart TV with Netflix, and another breathtaking view. Bedroom is separate with closet/dressing room and a big king bed. Bathroom has corner jacuzzi tub, large walk in shower, and L'occitane amenities. Wifi: HUGE upgrade! They spent time and money to make a fantastic wifi system that supports streaming and multiple devices, for FREE. Food: I cannot fathom why any reviewer would say the food is not good. It's delightful! We stayed here for almost a month and did not tire of it. We did part of our stay AI and part Euro. On the Euro plan, food is very affordable for a hotel! The food is full of flavour and something I actually miss (which I can't really say about many hotels!) Wine: House wine is okay. Nothing to swoon over, but bottles of higher quality wine are reasonably priced. Nightlife: none :) Perfect for people who want to relax! The outdoor feature dinners are spectacular though! Live artist painting a huge canvas, live music playing, all while they bring you a 5 or 6 course meal. Pool: Great temperature. Chairs are padded with side tables. Calm music. Note: The sun hits around 10:30am Beach: Small beach area, put semi private because of the location. Great for short walks! Location: A quick walk to the start of the malecon. You also have an OXXO within a 2 minute walk. 5 minute walk: grocery store, TONS of restaurants, pharmacy, shops. No car needed. The Staff: The are what makes the hotel. There are TOO many names to mention, Javier at the pool, Maria at concierge, Waiters: Adan, Hugo, (and ALL the others!) are incredible, kind, and gracious. Rooms manager Marco and GM Alessandro are generous and devoted professionals. Everyone made us feel like royalty. IN SUMMARY: If you want big hearted service with luxury perks, this is your place. We will always be repeat visitors of Villa Premiere because of their passionate dedication to the art of hospitality. Stay in the MASTER SUITE if you can! Unlike any other! (I have room tour vids on youtube if you want to see more)

Yelp
We stayed at Villa Premiere on the last night of our wedding week and we were blown away on the experience we received there. They are doing some next level stuff and it's absolutely worth your time, stay, experience etc! First of all, the arrival is fabulous! Check in is great, you get a courtesy 5 minute shoulder massage which is lovely. Check in was very smooth, we had the option for custom pillows for myself and my husband's preference (!!), and we had the options for what type of smell we wanted in the room. We opted for the cucumber smell which was simply divine. Secondly, the hotel is beautiful! The decorations are unique and perfectly highlight the style of the town. Plus they have quotes around every corner that are romantic and inspiring. Thirdly, the service there is excellent. Both while eating, drinking at the swim up bar, or whenever we interacted with the concierge. Made the experience top notch. Lastly, the location is prime! We walked around both days we were there - strolling into town, walking the boardwalk, etc. It was very safe being close to the center of town without being loud.

Yelp
Hotel location is ok. It's a secluded boutique hotel on the corner side of this little hotels area but per the price and service there's certainly more choices. Didn't even get an acknowledgment of my bday at check in even though the person held & made a copy of my passport & I place it on the booking notes ( that was pretty surprising for me) Didn't get a champagne service upon check in. I got the service afterwards when posting this review (more like a rush service- not genuine) not a description of the hotel amenities. I booked the honeymoon suite and I was a little dissatisfied being the main fixture of the suite the jacuzzi & team knowing the jacuzzi takes around 20-30min to fill out that they wouldn't ask to be ready? I believe there's no much anticipation of needs...I will describe my experience as double standards on customers...Other people though as I was passing by seemed to have got a full scoop of the property + a nice welcome. I graded this property more per the pool staff being so nice. I received more of a welcoming from them than the actually front team/ concierge. I wouldn't recommend the inclusive service. It's cheaper if you pay for the service separately.

Yelp
We booked out stay here through Costco travel and we loved it! The location is just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and shops in the heart of PV, and there is a long stretch of beach that you can take to get there is you don't want to lose sight of the beautiful ocean views. We did the all inclusive option at the hotel and were pleased with the food for every meal. There are traditional breakfast options like eggs, cereal, and french toast as well as breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros. Lunch time options included nachos, burgers, and sandwiches. One of the three restaurants available was only open once during our stay, so we are very familiar with the dinner menu. However, if we ever did not want something from the normal menu, the kitchen would make anything we requested, which was extremely kind. The pool area was wonderful during the day. There were standard lounge chairs in the sun, swinging beds to lay in in the shade, and covered chairs, so plenty of options. The pools are heated and felt like a bath, in the best way. And if you don't want the pool, the ocean is just down the steps and so warm as well! We used the gym each day as well. While it is not a full size gym, for a hotel it was well equipped with a treadmill, two cardio machines, and two bikes. There were some free weights and a handful of machines for lifting. Imagine a hotel gym that is well done, and that is what you will find here. The spa was pleasant and beautiful as well. We were well taken care of during our massages and would definitely recommend getting something done at the spa during your stay. You will be given the full spa treatment. We loved the staff at the hotel the most! They were so kind, remembered our names, and took care of us by recommending different options, and anticipating what we could want for a meal or to make our stay better. Definitely a great place to stay!

Yelp
Very detailed review below, which is probably very specific for our stay. Pro's - The staff is amazing and accommodating. The views are amazing. The welcome situation was great, you got to choose your pillow and room smell, and they cleaned immaculately daily. The food is very good for all-inclusive. Con's - because of the storm warning, the hotel was pretty shut down when we got there, which we bought a very expensive room ($700+/night), so it would've been nice for them to offer some sort of additional accommodation. The main restaurant on the beach was also closed the entirety of our stay, which was a main attraction for us visiting. We would've liked a warning that the resort was closing the beach restaurant upon our arrival. For one of the restaurants, we were given a 1-hour wait time for dinner, which again, for how much we were spending, was steep. The drinks also did not have much alcohol in them. We got a room with a bathtub on the deck, which was amazing, but looked like it needed to be cleaned more on the walls of the bath. Lastly, when we were in the pool by the beach, there were a lot of merchants who would come up the pool, which would have been nice to not deal with. For getting a honeymoon suite, it would have been nice to have at least included one bottle of wine or something. Overall, would recommend, but not for the price we paid.

Yelp
We have had literally the worst experience here possible. Our room was #1 without a headboard and screws hanging out of the wall. They tried to make up for it and sent a headboard up. Then the room reeked of paint and primer. They also did not provide a safe box so they brought one up. That leads us to night two. They are in my room now trying to unlock said safe box because it died and now all of my belongings are locked in. Not fun and a horrible experience. This is absolutely perfect believable. 12am and still guys in our room. Thanks Villa premier for this.

Yelp
Context/My background: American, early 30s, traveled with husband Purchased European plan (room only, not all-inclusive) Visited in late August 2018 - low season, low crowds, absurdly high temps and humidity Check-in/first impressions: The lobby has an indoor/outdoor feel leading straight out to the pool area and ocean, so it's not air conditioned but you get a feel right away for the resort. At check in, you indicate your preferred pillows and room fragrances, and are treated to champagne and a short massage. We were charged for the full stay at check-in, then later basically opened a tab to charge drinks/room service for the duration of our stay. Room: We went with the cheapest option, Deluxe Room King. The room was on the small side but exceptionally comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was tiny and lackluster - like, you had to move to open the bathroom door after relieving yourself. I imagine that a jacuzzi room would have a more impressive bathroom. All levels of rooms have a decent-sized balcony to watch those legendary PV sunsets. Room-wise, the greatest deficiency was terrible insulation/thin walls. We had 2 different sets of neighbors and both seemed noticeably loud, which I'm sure is made worse by the connecting door with only egg crate foam padding blocking out the noise. Toilet flushes in neighboring rooms are very audible. Location: Quick uber ride (roughly $3USD/10 minutes) to Centro, the malecon or the zona romantico and a myriad of dining and nightlife options. Within walking distance are a number of casual dining options and the Oxxo for any sundry goods you need. Pool: One large pool and one smaller pool with an infinity edge and swim-up bar. Typically the latter was more crowded. In low season, it was incredibly easy to find loungers with umbrellas, and there are also a couple of highly coveted suspended pool beds. No reserving allowed, so you've gotta actually be using/enjoying the pool if you place your stuff somewhere. You can see the ocean from the pool - always nice. Beach: Small roped-off area with 4 beach beds and several loungers. Never a problem finding a place to sit here either. You will get approached by people selling things but they aren't super aggressive. The beach itself is rocky (bring water socks if you have them to avoid this issue) and the water is choppy and not particularly soothing. If you love to float and relax in the ocean- this isn't the beach for that. Food/drink: As I said, we were on the European plan since we wanted to get off the resort and experience the town, so we didn't eat much beyond getting snacks at the pool here and there. The food was serviceable. Drinks were generally good. If you are weighing whether or not to do the all-inclusive option, I will offer that drinks at the resort are incredibly cheap by American standards - like $5-7 USD - so it's easy to pay as you go and we ended up only paying an additional $200 or so for drinks and a couple of meals the whole week we were there. Can't imagine the American plan would be worth it unless you were eating all your meals there and drinking 10 cocktails every day, but hey, this is your vacation, not mine. Hospitality/overall: The pool staff was terrific especially Javier, the server. He was so good about checking on us. All valets and front desk staff were friendly as well. I didn't love the hard sell to attend a timeshare sales pitch, and the spa staff were also really persistent about selling their services. The one time we got room service, we got some chocolate cake and a couple of bottles of water, which was a nice touch. Overall, for the price, this is a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in Puerto Vallarta.

Yelp
OMG! One of the best hotels ever! Impecable service, great restaurants! The bartenders are the bomb! Every room has an ocean view! Crashing waves. Sooo relaxing! They greet you with a cold glass of champagne and cold towel. Then you get a complementary massage! A must when in Puerto Vallarta!
