The experience in the hotel was superb!|I selected it because of the French atmosphere it promised, as well as the location and overall previous comments I could find online. The hotel not only kept the expectations but it surpassed them. I went to Aarhus for work and leisure, as I was celebrating my birthday. Thus, getting an upgrade was a fantastic surprise! The staff were absolutely fantastic and welcoming. The room was comfortable and has great amenities. The breakfast is great, with a great selection of fresh juice, options of coffee and eggs. A modest selection of cheese and bread is also available. The location is great, close to the train station, bus to the airport, main attractions in the city and a good offer of restaurants.

I expected more from one of the top rated hotels in Aarhus. We had a superior king room, it was small and dark with a view of their parking lot. Mattress was fine, bathroom just OK. Breakfast was good. Staff fine. Location away from center of town but nearby.

We stayed at Hotel Villa Provence in Aarhus and found it to be a charming and peaceful escape right in the heart of the city. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with thoughtful touches throughout the property.||Parking was located right next door in a secure garage. Although reservations aren’t available in advance, we had no trouble securing a spot upon check-in — very convenient.||Breakfast was excellent, with eggs made to order and a generous buffet of both hot and cold items, all fresh and nicely presented.||The hotel has a lovely, quiet courtyard that’s perfect for enjoying coffee or a drink — a relaxing place to unwind after a day out.||We were also able to walk easily to the canal area, which had plenty of great food options and a lively atmosphere. The location made it simple to explore Aarhus without needing the car.||This hotel blends style, comfort, and calm with a fantastic central location. We would definitely stay here again.

Central located, cramped small hotel with 'superior' rooms in separate concrete block overlooking a car park. Nothing relaxing about the experience, oversized 4 poster beds dominate a small functional room with basic bathroom. Giant old film posters add to the surreal decor. Nothing French or Provençale about the hotel other than the name.|We liked Aarhus, but couldn't recommend this hotel

My wife and I really enjoyed our two-night stay at Villa Provence in Aarhus. It came recommended by friends who had stayed here and did not disappoint. If you like big box hotels or luxury chains, this is not for you. We liked that it was a bit off the beaten track but not too far, easy walking distance to everything central you'd want to explore. Some reviews complain about the noisy bistro across the street, but if you get a room in the rear building, as we did, we never heard a sound.||Other touches we really liked: it felt very French in style and design, with a beautifully appointed sitting room just off reception and lots of French-cinema themed posters and artwork throughout. Sit-down breakfast was both good and felt like a country kitchen. Highly recommend for nice "something different" stay in Aarhus.

Absolute boutique gem in the center of Arhus! Small rooms that are full of personality, an honor bar and lightning fast WiFi. Beautiful and intimate central courtyard, maybe less relevant in February, but charming none the less. Super cosy and very well located.

I saw the pictures of your hotel, checked out your website and facilities, and read the comments from previous guests. I think it's a great place for a vacation, and I wanted to give my positive opinion of this review before I went there.

didn't have a good experience picking up the new years meal but the hotel looks lovely and don't want to draw their review down based on a bad picking up experience. the food however was incredibly tasty.

Yelp
A unique little boutique hotel in the heart of Aarhus, unfortunately it's quite run down. Our booked room was a "Superior double room" booked directly with the hotel. The room was extremely small and very worn. No natural light entered the room and it's was very depressing. We stayed doing two of the hottest days this summer and the lack of (any) ventilations was unbearable. Windows could be open, but then the noises where too much. Breakfast was included, and due to COVID-19 it was served at your (very small) table. It was okay however it was about the same thing served both days, I would quickly get tired of this if staying longer. Room and public places felt somewhat cleaned. This hotel is different and in some ways very unique, but not a good place to get your sleep and relax (lots of noise between the rooms and from the courtyard). Sadly, I do not recommend.

Yelp
Amazing staff, great breakfasts, and top-notch accommodations. This place is a jewel nestled near the downtown area and we loved every minute of our time spent there, from sipping their fabulous wine selection, to enjoying the conversation with the owners. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Loved this property! It's very unique; all rooms are different. The rooms line and share a beautiful outdoor courtyard. The staff has been incredibly kind and helpful. We had no kroners on us, and the owner basically gave us a pile of coins for us to use at the nearby by laundromat and said bring back what we don't use and we'll figure it out when we check out. A large, fresh, delicious morning breakfast is included. There are lots of stairs in this hotel; as mentioned, it had a very unique setup. Location is excellent! Tons of shops and cafes and bars nearby. The property doesn't have a large sign so we weren't sure which one it was upon arrival. It's the purple building. Highly recommend!
