We had a wonderful stay at Villa Retreat! This property is perfect for families who want a comfortable place to stay while exploring Kodaikanal. The location is excellent—very close to the lake—making it convenient to spend the first day enjoying the lake and nearby attractions. On the following day, you can easily venture out to explore other scenic spots in Kodaikanal. Overall, a great choice for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay – Felt Like Home with Stunning Mountain Views We had a truly wonderful experience staying at Villa Retreat. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed, and the hospitality made us feel completely at home. The location is excellent, close to the main attractions yet peaceful and calm. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking mountain views — waking up to misty hills and fresh air was simply magical. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall ambience of the property is warm and homely. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more pleasant. Villa Retreat is perfect for couples and families looking for a cozy stay with great views, comfort, and a peaceful atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to stay again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kodaikanal!

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique hotel located right next to Coaker’s Walk. The view of the mountains and the sunrise from the room was absolutely breathtaking. Being surrounded by clouds on top of the hills was a magical experience. The food served was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

It was a very good experience staying in vila retreat. The room gives a excellent view both hill and city. The food was excellent. It gives a overall unforgettable memories.

The stay is amazing It's serene ambiance, stunning views, and great hospitality made an unforgettable experience. The place was so pleasant because of its natural surroundings. The service provided by the staff in the restaurant was impressive and the food served was good too. Each and every staff were so kind and helpful. I would like to mention about Praveen who sent my missed trolley cover back to Chennai.

Had a lovely Breakfast, back-to-back days, just for the wonderful customer service by Mr Sankar and Mr Manoj. Chef Madhan makes amazingly delicious food. Ghee Roast and Channa Bhatura were yummy. I had one of the fantastic coffees here. On request they seat you outside on the Garden and the view and weather was awesome when we had it on 4th and 5th Oct 2025. Did not stay, so no comments on rooms.

Booked signature suite room. Most recommend only for signature suite room rather than other type of rooms . Book it as much earlier possible without any hesitation . ( Rs 4500 if booked earlier , last time booking costing nearly 7000 for same rooms) so be mindful 🫶. Stayed there for 2 nights , their complimentary breakfast was excellent on both days and I doesn’t had time to try other cuisines

Spent the last three days at Villa Retreat, Kodaikanal, and it was a wonderful experience. The ambiance was excellent, the rooms were comfortable with stunning views, and the food was delicious. The service staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. Will definitely visit again.
