Villa Roca Boutique Resort & Suites

As a solo traveler, Villa Roca was an amazing choice. From the moment I booked my room, the staff helped me plan my trip, including excursions, and were incredibly responsive via WhatsApp. That level of communication made me feel safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. The resort itself is in a fantastic location in Manuel Antonio. The views are beautiful, the pool area is lovely, and the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. It’s about a 15-minute walk or a short bus ride to the beach. I really enjoyed walking down, spending time at the beach, and then stopping at a few bars and restaurants on the way back up. Villa Roca is also directly across the street from a grocery store and coffee shop, which was super convenient. If you head in the opposite direction from the beach, there are even more great restaurants and incredible views. I loved how central everything felt. Everyone I encountered was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I would absolutely recommend Villa Roca, especially for solo travelers looking for a safe, well-located, and friendly place to stay.

The people that run the hotel are very nice, the views are incredible, the location is very convenient to all the restaurants and bars. When we booked the hotel we thought it was LGBTQ, clothing optional and it is not anymore. SO that really changed our entire vacation vibe. The entire hotel needs a huge renovation..The rooms are incredibly dated, the bathrooms are TINY, the shower leaked all over the floor, our toilet barely flushed, our towels had hairballs in them, the drawers were broken. Now to the pool area... it is TINY also, tiles are missing everywhere and the pool chairs were broken. The gardens need tending to. The continental breakfast that is included is literally a plate with fruit with a piece of toast...so you end up having to just order any pay for breakfast. This place is barely hanging on by a thread...I would never stay here again.

Spectacular stay at this beautiful property. |Very well located just 15 minutes away from Manuel Antonio forest as well as the beach. Sweeping views of the ocean and above all, great hospitality.|The gentleman on the reception as well as his colleague, Joanna are warm and attend to you every need. The staff at the restaurant, Rosa and her colleague. Everyone runs this place as their own.|I told them I was going to a rustic farm to stay afterwards and was worried about the sheets and to my surprise, they gave me an entire set for free.|The sheets, cover and pillow covers.|Who does that??|As a responsibility to my fellow travellers, be aware that you have to carry your own luggage down a steep decline of steps which with my 25kg bag was not easy.|Also, the breakfast serves coffee, fruits and toast. No eggs.|Thank you Team Villa Roca. You are amazing.

My spouse and I are visiting from the United States. Villa Roca is so visually stimulating! A true paradise! Our stay was so calming and stress-free! The accommodations were excellent and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. The service was spectacular! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We would definitely comeback and spend more time with the lovely people and beautiful surroundings! Come and see for yourself!

Villa Roca is located high on the hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and the view is truly stunning. Down below the hotel all the way out to the ocean is undeveloped jungle, and it is very peaceful. The hotel is lovely, I enjoyed my room with a balcony to take in the view. The infinity pool and jacuzzi share the amazing view as well as the dining area and bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed my stay very much.

Wonderful views and great staff. The room was generous in size and had a nice little kitchen with a grocery store across the street. ||Easy to get to the park and restaurants. ||The staff was so wonderful in friendliness and assistance. Our car battery died and they helped us so much reach the rental place and let us know when they arrived.

We had a great stay. Really friendly staff, good breakfast and amazing cocktails. Also nice to see the staff is taking care of the street animals. Amazing job. Room was amazing, what a view! Highly recommended. Jacuzzi needs some maintenance, not all functions are working on it but it was nice and hot during the rainy days.

The view from our balcony was spectacular.|Our balcony was also secluded, and we felt like we had privacy, which was really nice. This is a small hotel and while there were other guests, we were not disturbed by them. |If you stay at this hotel buy the full breakfast package. This was honestly some of the best food we had in Costa Rica. |The management team were polite and helpful. Our bartender Beto made sure we had a great time. |Pool and hot tub were sparkling clean with an amazing view. Towels are provided. |The air conditioning worked really well. We just had to leave it running the whole time. |The hotel is very close to Manuel Antonio national Park, as well as as local and other public beaches. There was a mini supermarket directly across the street from this hotel, which was very convenient.
