When you love history and in particular Roman history, this is a great place to visit. It provides a great insight on local Roman development in this historical context.

Well organized, but not worth to visit.

Very well preserved and loyal to history, is an amazing way to discover the importance of Asturias and specially Gijon and its surroundings in time of the Roman Empire.

Great preservation of a Roman Villa next to the Roman city of Gigia. Interesting museum attached to the archaeological site.

Nice place to visit

Es una visita gratuita al museo, y al yacimiento (este cierra media hora antes que el museo) que se hace en aproximadamente de 1h. Los restos estan muy restaurados (en parte para que nos hagamos una idea la estructura de la villa), y el mosaico es una pena que quede tan poquito, comparada con otras villas que hay en la zona norte de la Hispania que ha llegado hasta nuestros dias. Pero sin duda fue una domus importante contando que disponia de zona termal. En nuestro caso fuimos un dia que llovia, disponen de paraguas para la visita al yacimiento cosa que es de agradecer.
