I would definitely stay here again. It is close to everything, particularly the central bus station. There is a cafe/bakery right next to the hotel. Air conditioning was fantastic. The room even came with a safe in the closet, which I didn't notice until we checked out. The bed was super comfortable, and it was always quiet. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was kind of slow. However, it was still good for basic streaming without any frame freezing. We will come again.

The hotel staff was incredibly helpful with our stay, even helping us navigate a booking snafu (mistake on my part!). The location is unbeatable next to the central bus station and innumerable cafes. Simple, clean rooms with excellent service. I would 100% stay here again or recommend it to travelers to Santorini.

Great hotel, the location is perfect for the centre of town. Staff were really friendly and beds were comfy. I thought it would be noisy due to its location but it wasn't at all. The roof top pool area was great too!

Fantastic place! I booked the trip to Santorini spontaneously and I was so thrilled to find Villa Roussa. They had a room available for the dates that I wanted and everything from the price to location was simply great. They clean the rooms every day and nothing is ever a problem for them. They even let me leave my bags there for a day after I checked out. I could not be happier with the customer service and general positive vibes of the place. Loved it and would recommend to anyone who is looking to go to Thira.

Lovely, charming hotel. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. Location is perfect!! It was right across Fira's main bus station where it was very easy to just hop on and off a bus and explore different areas around the island. And very close to the town's main centre. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

Excellent, clean, centrally located hotel with great air conditioning. Perfect for those on a budget. |We had 3 “basement” rooms which were perfect for our large family. Came with a private courtyard with tables, chairs, umbrella that was shaded and very cool. |Rooms were decent- nothing special but very clean with spacious bathroom and excellent air conditioning (much appreciated in this heat wave with temps >100!) Fridge, hair dryer, nice shower. |Best part was location- located on a quiet side street steps away from central bus stop which takes you to all of the beaches, towns and airport. No need for a car. In center of town, walking distance to hundreds of shops, restaurants, cafes, gyro places, etc.

I wonder if Veronika M from Zurich reviewed a different hotel, as our experience at Villa Roussa was very positive. The room was very clean, freshly painted and modern, and was serviced daily even with fresh sheets and towels. There is good wifi, a fridge and TV. My only complaint is the door was a bit tricky to open with the key. We had a small deck and there is a nice sitting area and spa on the roof. The location is perfect for catching the bus and walking around Fira. If you can afford to spend 6x as much by all means get a room with a view of the bay, they are spectacular. But we were happy staying here and going for sunset strolls and dinners to enjoy the view.

As mentioned by all other reviewers, this place definitely wins hands down the best location in Santorini. |But if you are focusing on a fancy luxury sort of set-up then this place might not be for you. |On the other hand, if you want to be centrally located, at a walking distance to everything including great restaurants, beautiful views, city centre, transport etc etc.. no better location than here. ||Expect simple basic rooms and amenities. Comfortable beds and strong air conditioning for a good night's sleep and good wifi connectivity (we had the wifi router in our room itself). |The staff is very kind. Pleido gave us some good recommendations for good food.. and connected us with the service for scooter rentals. ||Presumably his father and owner of the place dropped us off to the airport for our return flight in his mini bus for the same price as the taxi .. ||I didn't however rate it 5/5 for two reasons.. |- some serious drainage issue: each time i tried using the bath tub and then later tried to drain the water back in, the whole bathroom got flooded.. |- some ants- related issue: when we arrived we saw some ants walking around te bathroom but we ignored. Next evening once we returned to the room there were ants all over our stuff ... I literally had to wash a lot of ant-ridden clothes during our stay .. but until the last day I saw them hanging around.. ||But ignoring these two issues, i would totally recommend this place for all its positive points!
