This hotel has a great view of the bay in front of St. Pierre, and it is very nice to sit on the balcony at night and look at all of the sailboats moored in it. All of the chairs and the bed are very low, like twelve inches off the floor, but we got used to it, and everything was very clean. The hosts were very friendly and served us a very nice breakfast, but it was disappointing that the hotel restaurant was not open for meals. The Vaugue Restaurant, recommended by our hosts was the worst place we ate on our trip. There is no parking by the hotel, so you need to find a place a few blocks north or south of it and drag your luggage down the street to the hotel. There is no elevator in the hotel either, so plan on carrying your things up at least one flight of stairs. | There is not much happening on the beach front day or night, which we found surprising because it has a nice promenade and has nice views. There is not really much happening at night in St. Pierre either. If you are looking for a calm vacation this is a good place to stay, with some interesting ruins to explore, nice beaches to the north and south, and nice views of Mt. Pelee.
