Amazing! Especially if you like Reds. DJ was the absolute best! The wife and I road our bikes to the tasting room just as rain came and we got SOAKED! DJ took my shirt and put it in the dryer. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Outstanding customer service! We had the Sautéed Mushrooms and Paella, holy moly, sooo good! Some of the best food we’ve ever had at a winery!

From the stunning views, delicious wine and ideal ambiance, you must put Villa San Julietta on your wine tasting list in Paso Robles (San Miguel) We normally game lunch here while wine tasting and take a bottle or two home to enjoy later. The staff is friendly too. We loved it so much, we hosted our son's wedding here with 100 guests and it was memorable. It's like having a little bit of Tuscany right here in California

I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at Villa San-Juliette Winery in Paso Robles last year, and it was an absolute delight. The venue's Tuscan-inspired architecture and surrounding vineyards create a captivating backdrop that exudes elegance and natural beauty. What sets Villa San-Juliette Winery apart is their exceptional attention to detail and personalized service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the wedding was flawless. As a photographer, I was thrilled by the abundance of photography opportunities, from the vineyards to the stunning architecture and manicured gardens. I wholeheartedly recommend Villa San-Juliette Winery as a wedding venue in Paso Robles. Its exquisite surroundings, combined with exceptional service, create an unforgettable experience for couples and their guests. Villa San-Juliette Winery is truly a captivating haven where beautiful memories are made.

As always, it was absolutely amazing. Makes you feel like you are sitting in a villa in the middle of Tuscany! The wine selection is absolutely superb and the food was incredible! We had the Salad with the catch of the day which happened to be Halibut and the Bruschetta is so delicious! By-the-way, the Halibut was cooked to perfection!

This wine tasting villa was welcoming with stunning views and well-informed sommeliers. The Cab Franc was to die for but the Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec and Zin were worthy and tasty against any. Coleson was friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch was extremely tasty. Overall it was worth the side trip as we traveled from Santa Cruz back to LA.

This winery in San Miguel, just north of Paso Robles, features a very nice selection of moderately priced wines, beautiful views, wine tasting in the grand Tuscan villa and chef inspired lunches inside or out on the patio in the gardens. A fun stop in your wine touring. 2023 UpDate - Villa San Juliette, our favorite, in retirement, weekly winery & lunch stop. Today, we had warm weather, panorama of vines, rose gardens, Tuscan Villa & statues... With always lovely wines, friendly staff & chef. Should you be in the area or passing through you might try it but count on at least an hour to enjoy the experience. Notice - we own no interest in this lovely spot, darn it. It's just fun and unique. 11/23 Update Our favorite, beautiful venue for our weekly lunch, Villa San Juliette Winery, today with no crowds and beautiful gardens & skies (it's also an almost weekly romantic venue for weddings and we can see why). 💕

After 5 wineries today this was by far the best! The view was amazing, people friendly, and most of all the wine was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. So much so I became a member and made reservations for tomorrow!

Yelp
Stopped by this weekend for their open house event and it was fantastic! We went for the first time earlier this year and were so taken by the wines, food and atmosphere that we joined their wine club. The property feels straight out Italy! Gorgeous landscapes, statues, and views. It's a little remote compared to other options but worth the trek IMO. We tried a few dishes from their kitchen and the Beef Stew was the best thing I ate all weekend!

Yelp
I made a reservation online and it was really easy. They put a hold on your credit card but don't actually charge you until after your visit. We arrived about 45 mins late to our reservation due to highway traffic, but I called to let them know and they were really nice about it. For a Saturday afternoon, they weren't packed full but it did pick up as the day got later. There's plenty of outdoor seating and a handful of tables outside. We opted to be outside to enjoy the large willow tree and fountain. I loved the design of the winery. We ordered their truffle fries, special wagu empanadas and a charcuterie board along with our three tastings. The wagu empanadas were bomb! The puff pastry was thick and flakey. I could've just had that on its own. lol the wagu filing was nicely seasoned too. Truffle fries were good but we didn't taste much truffle. The charcuterie was yummy and full but I wish they offered a softer cheese to spread on the extra crispy crostinis they offered. The wines were okay. We didn't love any of them, actually. For 3 tastings and the 3 kitchen items, our bill came out to about $190. Definitely a pricier experience.

Yelp
If you are looking for a winery with a European flair then this is the place to visit. The view, ambience and service is top notch! The staff are all very friendly. Luis greeted us at the check in counter and told us we could sit where ever we liked. We wanted to be outside but in the shade. DJ our server, presented each bottle with a thorough description before he poured. He also filled us in on the history of the winery and how they came up with the name. *Owned by British TV Producers Nigel Lythgoe & Ken Warwick, (The OG's of American Idol), wanted to create wines with California grapes that were full of flavor & body. BTW...Also Shakespeare fans hence the name "Juliette" Our wine flight included: 2022 Sauvignon Blanc 5/5 2022 Rose of Grenache 4/5 2021 Alicante Boushet 4/5 2020 Malbec 5/5 (bought a bottle) 2020 Zinfandel 4/5 *an extra tasting of 2020 Chorum (a blend of all the red grapes) 5/5 (bought a bottle) The reds were mostly full bodied & bold which I prefer. The Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and perfect for summer. We ordered a Cheese & Charcuterie Board ($30) and Fries ($8) to accompany our wine. Delicious *Flight Tasting $25 per person/Fee waived with 2 bottle purchase/members complimentary *Beautiful grounds - leased out several times a year for weddings

Ronus H.

Yelp
Had such a good experience here! Luis was very knowledgeable about each wine and was great to talk to and very down to earth. The cheese board was great and the environment/ambiance here was lovely. Would definitely come back and ask for Luis!

Yelp
Villa San Juliette is a hidden jem. Upon entering, you are teleported in some Tuscany villa with beautiful views. A perfect location for wine tasting and lunch. This is one of my favorite locations to visit. Consider Villa San Juliette, a place to take a friends and family.

Jessica C.

Yelp
We came for the wine and stayed for the smash burger. After a long day of wine tasting the beautiful patio area was the perfect way to end our day. Loved the reds. Service was decent. Food was wonderful.

Dana B.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning location for an evening wedding in wine country, with sweeping views of the rolling hills and cotton candy skies during sunset. The passed appetizers, meal (including bread, salad and entree) and wines were all delicious and service was excellent! Accessibility awareness: My only complaint is the bathroom situation, which consists of 2 individual stalls located in the tasting room, which also served as the bar for the wedding event. I'm sure this is fine if you're visiting for a standard tasting, but if you're attending a large event with 100+ people, it means you spend a lot of time waiting in line instead of enjoying the event. There are 2 additional bathrooms located in a separate building back by the gravel parking lot, which is fine for able bodied individuals to walk over as needed, but if you have accessibility needs you should plan accordingly.

Yelp
A wonderful birthday treat! The drive to the vineyard was so beautiful peaceful perfect May weather. As we walked into the winery DJ greeted us. Really knowledgeable in his descriptions of the wine that was on our list. This is always a plus in my eyes when you get a service who is not only knowledgeable but funny made us feel right at home. Because it was my birthday I received a wonderful chocolate treat! Amazing! We took home the Sauvignon Blanc and the Petite Sirah. Such a wonderful experience

Jan H.

Yelp
We met Don and Cindy Wilson and there recommendation was to come to your Winery. The location took our breath away. We're not red wine lovers but we are now. My husband fell in love ganache rose and that will be the next one we have shipped to us. The food was delicious. What can we say about Luis Echeveria , he made us feel at home from the beginning, he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional. Luis is a true asset to your organization and we just love him .

Giselle M.

Yelp
Still rewinding mentally to our time at this drop dead gorgeous vineyard and winery! Our experience here was sublime, which happens to be the music that was playing when we arrived and when we were enjoying our tasting out on the terrace. It was like they knew we were coming! ;) Enjoying their award winning wine and spectacular views to the sounds of Sublime, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Nirvana, and so on... the music was on point (in our humble opinion!). Scott was our wine expert and server, and he was so welcoming and friendly! We truly enjoyed our conversations with him, and appreciated him making our morning so delightful and relaxing. Thank you, Scott! Since it was an 11am tasting, we needed some food with our vino, so we ordered the Bruschetta al Pomodoro and the Rosemary Foccacia Bread. Both incredible!! You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients, and that focaccia bread was fresh out of the oven, and oh so perfect in taste and texture. Hats off to Chef Roberto Lavarini! My husband and I enjoyed the wine (maybe a little too much!), and left with a bottle of the 2021 Rosé and the 2019 Petit Verdot. We also loved the 2019 Alicante Bouschet Reserve. "Pro Tip:" If you purchase 2 bottles, the tasting fee is waived. We spent an extra half hour or more wandering around the property. Just glance at the photos and you'll see why we didn't want to leave...it's absolutely beautiful! I read on the website that Villa San-Juliette is owned by the former producers of American Idol, and I instantly recognized Nigel Lythgoe as also being a judge on the show So You Think You Can Dance! Just a little fun fact for you all. :) Definitely highly recommend VSJ. You can live out your Tuscan-style estate dreams right here in north Paso Robles!

Yelp
This place was recommended to us so we drove out to check it out for ourselves. It's a good 20 minute drive the main road next to the water park. Parking is pretty much on a dirt road. They server limited food here and you order everything inside of the tasting room. We were here during their pick up party, so there were no tastings available. Instead, we opted for a glass of wine each. There are a lot of tables outside and if you ordered food, they will bring it out to you. We didn't try any of their food because we just came from our own pick up party. The property is beautiful and great spot to just relax with some wine and food. Most of the tables are out in the open under the sun. So if the suns out, you will burn. I wished they had umbrellas up to shade us. There is a big tree that shades some of the tables, so if you can grab one of those, it will make it more pleasant to sit and sip. I got the Malbec and the wife got the Petit Verdot Reserve. Came out to $18 per glass. I was not impressed with either drinks. I feel the tannins was too present for both and didn't like the mouth feel of it. The flavors didn't appeal to either one of us. I was disappointed that they did not do tastings because of their event, but at the pick up party I went to, it was business as usual.

Mike D.

Yelp
Superb wines (we joined the club!) Loved everything they poured. Charcuterie board was very nice, and staff was knowledgeable and unobtrusive. Beautiful setting too. A bit off the beaten path, and absolutely worth it.

Rita ..

Yelp
Beautiful winery! Friendly staff. DJ was super friendly as well as the girl waitresses (didn't catch their names). The views are beyond beautiful, service great and wine was great!

r. f.

Yelp
I joined, that's how much we loved it. We loved the Alicante Bouschet, Petit Verdot, and Petit Syrah. The rose was also delicious!

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Attended a beautiful wedding here in July. Gorgeous venue. Bit off the beaten path, but worth the drive to see the scenery there. Decorated well. Room for wine tasting, buffets, dinner tables, dancing and the ceremony. Glad we went!

Bette L.

Yelp
Great wine and gourmet food -- not to mention the fabulous scenery! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the wines.

Beverly W.

Yelp
Enjoyed visiting The villa with friends, we were told we must try the amazing ribeye steak and mushroom rizotto. It was better than we expected it was scooked to perfection and so fabulous. The wines were also just as good as we remembered. We tried the list and loved all the tastings especially the rose' and alacante bouchet. Cant wait to visit again and enjoy all the fun events. ,

Julie O.

Yelp
What a lovely place to wine taste and spend an afternoon! We enjoyed all of the wines on the tasting menu (and brought several bottles home). Our pourer (Luis) could not have been nicer! I was also hoping to buy a logo sweatshirt (my name is "Juliette" - really wanted to represent) but was disappointed that my size was not available. We will have to go back to see when they are back in stock. We would highly recommend this winery and will definitley visit again!

Suzanne G.

Yelp
I had the most amazing lunch at VSJ. Our thoughtful host explained to me about one of their grape varietals, the Alicante Bouchet, it has red flesh unlike most other wine grapes. SO LUCIOUS! I will be back as I didn't buy enough and now I cannot find this grape anywhere else besides Francis Ford Coppola's winery in Geyserville. Love it and my salad.

Alma C.

Yelp
We visited for the first time last weekend and we enjoyed our time thanks to Luis! We started our tasting outside & due to the rain we moved indoor to finish our tasting. We enjoyed the wine, a few appetizers, brought some wines home, and we look forward to returning during our annual anniversary visits to Paso. Great space for large groups!

Jonathan M.

Yelp
We had heard good things about Villa San Juliettte from reviews in Paso Robles Fanatics. We come up to Paso Robles 3 times per year and have been meaning to visit but the winery is pretty far away from most of our favorites, being located in San Miguel. I added to our itinerary this trip when I made it for this weekend a couple months ago. We attempted to visit today. Our reservation was at 2:30pm. It was our first time visiting and it was a 40 minute drive from the previous winery. It started pouring rain when we were about 5 miles away. We called the winery and let them know we would be 10 minutes late as I had slowed my driving due to very poor visibility due to the rain. When we arrived and parked in their parking lot, my party of 6 got out of our SUV in the pouring rain only to see employees of the winery leaving what was labeled as the barrel room and getting into a car and driving over to what we figured out from signs was where the tasting room was. They didn't say anything to us as they hurried to stay out of the rain themselves. So that my group didn't have to walk in the pouring rain, I followed the example of the employees and had my group get back in the car and I drove them over to the tasting room and dropped them off. They got out, grabbed their umbrellas and headed for the tasting room. They had to wait to get into the tasting room as there was a bride (must have had a wedding reception there) blocking the entrance taking pictures. When they could, they squeezed through and went in the tasting room. I went and parked the car by the barrel room and walked back in the pouring rain by myself. When I finally arrived at the table in the tasting room my friends informed me that the winery had closed their kitchen and that they would only offer an abbreviated/quick tasting for our group. My wife asked the staff if we could at least get some focaccia bread from The kitchen and she was told No. I will share that I had convinced my group to come to this winery and even told them to share plates at lunch so that we could get some light food with our wines at Villa San Juliette in the afternoon. Upon hearing that we could not have the experience we drove all the way out there for our group decided to leave. I attempted to give feedback to the staff before leaving. It was clear their focus was on preparing for the wedding reception. I let them know that if they would not be able to accommodate guests or if they planned to close their kitchen earlier than what their website says they should have let me know when I made the reservations so I could have planned accordingly or made a different reservation. The staff (manager?) made no attempt to show appreciation for my group choosing their winery. And actually stated well it's now actually 2:50 and your reservation was at 2:30pm. So I checked my phone, and she was right, as we were walking out of the winery....it was now 2:50pm. We had arrived 10 minutes late. But between dropping them off, and me parking the car, and then us all talking and deciding to leave bcuz they refused to do a full tasting or let us order food, I guess 10 minutes had elapsed. Such a shame that the staff is so poorly trained and that they showed absolutely no empathy or appreciation for what it took for our group to get out there in the rain. Based on this experience we will never waste our time trying to go there again. Luckily we had a great Airbnb to go back to and we had great wines to enjoy from all of the other amazing wineries we visited on this trip. So many wineries to choose from in Paso, I recommend skipping this one.

Brian D.

Yelp
Best winery we found in San Miguel! What a beautiful vineyard surrounding the big mustard mansion Casa and every wine we tasted was delicious. We got to see a $30,000 wedding set up on the premise and this place has a small food venue worth testing out. Check out our pics.

Mariah A.

Yelp
Cheers to this fabulous winery and hospitality experience with Steve our wine steward! Oh and let's not forget, Chef Roberto from Italy, the delicious food paired with the elegant wines-perfect! The ambiance on the patio with the panoramic views made this an exceptional day. Great music and chill vibes. Steve, our wine steward was more than 5 Stars, super knowledgeable and gracious! We had fun, laughs and loved the wine tasting! We recommend: 2018 Zinfandel Pinot Gris Rose Caesar Salad with Prawns Italian Chicken Sandwich Charcuterie Cheese & Meat Platter Thank you Steve! Thank you Chef Roberto. Thank you Villa San-Juliette We'll be back!!

Molly H.

Yelp
Beautiful space and the food/wine are incredible I was just there last weekend and tried the bruschetta and the chef's special burger.

Megha T.

Yelp
Loved San Juliette so much! The grounds are breathe taking. There was a great selection of wine for tastings (of course we got a few bottles to take home), great snacks to munch on, and beautiful views no matter where you hang out!! My partner's parents ended up becoming members and we can't wait to come back again!

Sal E.

Yelp
Walked in and was shocked and saddened that Sheila moved onto Allegretto in Paso Robles, and the outstandingly amazing chef moved onto somewhere else. But on the positive side the huge blessing and surprise was Steve!!!!! Between Steve's wonderful personalty exuberance, enthusiasm for life for this winery and for people, we are not moving just because we were shaken. So thankful that general manager Cory (who picked up the phone to take our live reservation and remember that since we are frequents here) was so busy that she hung up the phone before I could say " be sure to assign us to Sheila when we arrive!" Had Kori done that it could have altered our decision to show up. Steve literally made up for the changes that have occurred here in the recent past. He is not only a server but he's also a chef who has carried on the same exquisiteness of the previous chef in taste, quality, and freshness of food! What really got me was Steve's expressing his admiration and appreciation for Sheila who trained him and has moved on and up elsewhere. But interestingly and probably most importantly my wife and I absolutely loved and appreciated every single wine on their tasting flight today - which above and beyond all the frills and beauty of this then you should be important and absolutely is and remains on such a Stellar level!!!!! Thank you Villa San Juliette, Thank you Kori. Thank you Steve. Would strongly recommend and would absolutely return!!

Ghina B.

Yelp
Best winery. Their Italian chef is phenomenal. Their severs are so nice, friendly and very knowledgeable and I can't say enough about the ambiance. Every time I go there are new tasting new flavorful dishes to try and we leave so happy about our visit and how much we learned our VSJ wines. I can't wait for my next pick up party .

James C.

Yelp
Excellent lunch on their beautiful patio. I especially enjoyed their seafood sampler.

Kathi K.

Yelp
fantastic food, awesome wines and an amazing beautiful atmosphere here at villa san juliett!!! 10/10 would recommend!

Vanessa R.

Yelp
What a wonderful day! We have been to Paso Robles countless times and we have never been on the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail. What a great surprise! This is a beautiful winery with beautiful grounds. You feel like you are at the family's private villa (and it might be), sitting in their beautiful garden, and not in a commercial impersonal winery. The wine was great and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back on our next trip. Such a beautiful place to come out and relax, eat and enjoy great wine. Make sure you call and make reservations. I recommend spending time on the Pleasant Valley Wine trail for some family owned, personal wine tasting experiences. Don't miss Mystic Hills Winery while here, but make a reservation.

Michael S.

Yelp
Found this place through a referral from another winery we are members of. It's a bit off the beaten path, but really nice. The grounds are really elegant looking. (Statues, green lawns, nice seating, etc). The wines were good as well. Their signature wine was absolutely amazing (just hard to justify the price). We did "revisit" it though. :) Sat on the patio, near the tasting room b/c it was HOT. So glad we did. Even with the umbrellas, it was cooking the day we went and we watched others wiping their heads and sweating. We had a prime seat in the shade with ceiling fans and it felt wonderful. We had a tasting, some lunch/snacks and left with a couple of bottles. Will definitely come back for another tasting/lunch/purchase.

Doug C.

Yelp
Have been wanting to write a review for VSJ for a while so finally got around to it. This is a 5-star winery with an excellent location located outside of Paso. When you get here, the vista will blow you away as there are fields of grape vines surrounding you. The wines are fabulous with a great menu to match. We are members of the wine club and the tastings are free. If you are ever in the area, then do yourself a favor and stop by this winery.

Don S.

Yelp
WHAT a wonderful place to visit, sip, eat, relax....an Italian like villa on the edge of Paso Robles Wine Country: https://monarch.wine/to-dine-and-wine-on-the-central-coast/ Glad to share my article on this incredible winery getaway.

Sugar B.

Yelp
What a lovely setting. We and another couple had reservations for lunch and tasting. JD took great care of us. Personable and knowledgeable. Our food was tasty! The wine's delicious. Only complaint is it would have been nice if all the entrees had arrived at the same time so some didn't have to wait to eat. Also the crab cakes were really little crab balls.

John T.

Yelp
Villa San Juliette is one of the most beautiful, picturesque and welcoming wineries in Paso Robles wine country. The food and wine are excellent, the staff is very knowledgeable and attentive and the overall experience is perfect for a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting. A hidden gem.

J L.

Yelp
A definite stop if you're in Paso Robles. Beautiful grounds and great wine. Our favorites were the Alicante Bouschet and the Petite Syrah. Didn't have a chance to try food from their menu, but they do have small bites to enjoy with your wine. And if you've ever seen a more beautiful smile than our server, Roxan, you'll have to post and let us know. She is a knowledgeable server with great hints to make your visit to Paso Robles exceptional. We travel from Temecula to Paso Robles (a five hour drive) about five or six times year and they never disappoint!

Cathi F.

Yelp
We have had two excellent experiences at this winery. I even look forward to the drive that meanders thru the interior of the countryside and vineyards. The winery sits on a slope with gorgeous expansive views!! Staff are always welcoming. And they all seem to really know about the craft of winemaking. And know their wines well. Our group shared some delicious crab cakes and shrimp, Caesar salad & a charcuterie board. They've got themselves one fabulous creative chef! Make a Rez. ...we find it real helpful, as they suggest.

Hayati D.

Yelp
My boyfriend is a member of Villa San-Juliette's 12 bottle club and we have never been disappointed. The wine has always been wonderful and the service is TOP KNOTCH. We had Sheila the first time who is no longer with VSJ but we had Nate this time and he was so very attentive and knowledgeable. He deserves a raise! Also Kori is a total asset to the company! So very professional, she remembered our club info (made us feel so special), and she's so nice! Every staff member has provided amazing service! Wonderful experience everytime!

Shelly W.

Yelp
My husband and I visited the villa and were very disappointed. It was a Sunday there was plenty of staff and only 5 tables with people. When asked if we were members I said no after that they just walked away and barely acted like we were even their. Very poor service. And it was a shame because I was looking forward to going there.

Karson A.

Yelp
I don't know where to start but let me say that this vineyard provided my girlfriend and I such an amazing wine tasting experience ! The estate is beautiful and has great views of the property. Pam was the highlight of our day on my goodness she was the best and so much friggen fun to have ! She went over every pour with us and explained in detail what to expect. She helped us decide to buy a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc which was amazing. We cannot wait to come back !

Liz T.

Yelp
Beautiful, out of the way winery setting in 101 (10 minutes east of the 101) where you can have lunch with your tastings. You sat in the shade of aged oaks (or inside if you prefer) and servers bring you your pours and your food (upscale sandwiches, salads and appetizers or a daily special) on a schedule you choose. Having food with my tastings allows me to appreciate the wines more, and I specifically selected this winery due to food offerings. The wines are good, and prices are reasonable for the area.

Caro F.

Yelp
Great winery in a beautiful setting. They have a chef and we enjoyed lunch on their patio: tomato soup & grilled cheese sandwich. We did the $15 wine tasting which included 9 wines and it was waived when we bought a bottle of Merlot. The outdoor space is gorgeous with old oaks and many flowers in the middle of vineyards.

Smirne D.

Yelp
A flight of 7 generous pours, yummy wine, especially the zin and petit Syrah, friendly staff and charming atmosphere!

Rosalie R.

Yelp
My 3 friends and I (and my dog) came here for a wine tasting on October 9th. It was our first exciting stop on our road trip from San Diego. It was actually suggested to us by our Airbnb host and we were SO glad we chose to come here. All the wine was amazing (especially the Grenache) and the food was delightful. Our server Scott made our experience something we will never forget. For the rest of the trip we kept on saying "guys imagine if Scott was here" we truly felt like we made a new friend! If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely be back!

Cheri N.

Yelp
I know nothing about wine, so this review is not coming from that perspective. This was my first winery visit and I was just tagging along since I'm not excited about wine. Ended up here last weekend while visiting a resident in the area. We decided to bring our young pre-teen girls, the dog, and a few adults a bit before 4pm on a Saturday to visit. The place closed at 5, but when we arrived it was moderately busy with tasters enjoying the breezy patio. What beautiful grounds! I could see why this was a place that hosted weddings. Two people in our party did a tasting. We noticed that they also offered a menu of lunch items and appetizers. Nice touch, but we did not order any food. Sat at a nice table with the kids, dog, and tasters....and the service was friendly to us people and our pet. With only two of us tasting (not me), the $10 tasting fee applied only to two but was waived with the purchase of one bottle wine each taster. The price per bottle ranged from $20 and up. This is a nice place to spend an hour and it was nice that they were mellow and welcomed dogs.

Yelp
We just had our wedding here on 9/25. I could not picture myself being married anywhere else. Roxan was AMAZING. She was so helpful and upbeat. She always provided answers to quickly. Even when we had to postpone a couple times due to COVID, she was so understanding and helpful with rearranging things. They provided great COVID safety guidelines for all the guests which made people feel better about being there. In addition to Roxan, all the other staff members were always so welcoming and friendly. Food is great! The propery is OUTSTANDING. It's one of the things everyone could not stop talking about. We saw maybe 12-15 different venues before choosing one and NONE came close to the quality and beauty as this vineyard. It's an oasis in the middle of nowhere! Also the wine was so delicious and this is coming from someone who does not like wine. Many people, myself included, get headaches or migraines from wine but not from this!! We had a white, a rose, and a red and they were all high quality and everyone loved them. we can't wait to come back!!

Wonderful experience. Absolutely the friendliest people, gorgeous views, amazing patio and grounds, great wines, and a beautiful tasting room. The Chef is amazing and the bistro service is superb. We are in four wine clubs and Villa San Juliette is our favorite. Definitely plan a visit for wine tasting and bistro service, it will be a highlight of your trip to Paso Robles / San Miguel.

Yelp
We decided to visit Villa San-Juliette without knowing that this was the winery was co-owned by Nigel Lythgoe of So You Think You Can Dance. I'm often wary of celebrity businesses, but this is one of a hand full of wineries in the immediate area we decided to stay even after finding out it was such a place. This was our second stop on what they call the Pleasant Valley wine trail on the day before New Years Eve. As mentioned in many other reviews the grounds are beautiful and the tasting room is very nice. However that isn't our reason for visiting most wineries but the wines themselves were well worth a visit. Our tasting cost $15 per person although a couple can split a tasting and that's what we did. The $15 is waived if one purchases a bottle of wine. I thought given the quality of the wines the tasting fee was well worth the price. We also were able to easily find a bottle of wine to purchase so the fee was waived for us. I think the most interesting thing about the winery is the way the wine maker crafts the wines. The tasting took us through a number of varietals that we're quite familiar with but each of them was rather unique compared to what we're used to for the varietals. The flavors we found in the wines were often not ones that we usually associate with the varietal but fit very well and make for some wonderful wines. For example I usually think of Sauvignon Blanc as having grassy or herbaceous lead aromas and flavors but the Villa San-Juliette SB is overflowing with tropical fruit both in the nose and on the palate. My wife usually doesn't enjoy SB, but this one really appealed to her and that's what we ended up getting. Our personal favorites during the tasting were the 2016 Grenache Reserve and the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve tied for first. Tied for third just one point below on my scale were the 2014 Alacante Bouschet Reserve and the 2016 Syrah Reserve. All of the wines were rated as good or very good overall and I would have been happy with any of them.

Yelp
Was here with my husband for the first time on New Year's Eve morning. It was a rainy/ damp day but we chose to sit outside to view the beauty. We had wonderful service and were greeted by much of the staff and were checked in on as well. We had the most delicious tomato soup with Focaccia bread and cheese, it was served nice & hot and was scrumptious! We also had a grilled vegetable ratatouille sandwich on a toasted ciabatta that was so delicious. Our bottle of Sauvignon Blanc was the icing on the cake, buttery & smooth! We will be back for sure, ambience, food, wine, & service were exemplary!
