Villa Simonne Boutique Hotel

We had our wedding at Villa Simonne and chose it for its relaxed vibe and eclectic and whimsical feel. It is a safe location very close to the Killarney Mall and guests were delighted that they did not need to travel far distances. The individually themed rooms are old worldly and beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food overall was good. Some dishes could have been warmer. The cooked breakfast is the only thing I would say needs attention and some improvement. Thank you to Maria for assisting us and co-ordinating the event. Our guests had a great time and we enjoyed it very much.

We are having a wonderful stay at Villa Simone over the Christmas break with my son and nephew. Our room, Mykonos, truly lived up to its name—beautifully styled, very comfortable, and spacious. The apartment is large and well equipped, with a full kitchen, lounge, dining area, a veranda with comfortable sofas, and two generously sized bedrooms. The grounds are stunning, with each section offering something unique. The pool area is especially impressive, even more so at night—it creates such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff and service were exceptional: friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We are spending a full week here and find it to be incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Its the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a memorable Christmas holiday.

We came for a jazz event hosted at the hotel. It was a beautiful experience. We had a great time. We didn't use the rooms but the bathrooms are very clean and well kept.

This place is quite magical. Each room is designed according to different locations in the world which is very fun. There's so much to look at, in terms of decor, that you don't want to be on your phone or live through a screen. The "elevator music" or background music was perfectly pitched and added to the idea of going into a different time and place. You just want to enjoy and absorb all the atmosphere has to offer. As a smoker, it was very nice not being pushed into a small corner / smelly room and being made to feel like I'm committing some unspeakable crime just by lighting a cigarette. Yes I am aware others on the internet may want to recreate the Salem witch trials by my comment right now. But whatever, it's the 21st century. We can live how we want. Inside is non-smoking. Obviously. But I did not have to go hide in a bush somewhere. Everything was comfortable, clean and the staff are immensely accommodating. I could be 100% myself and I loved the magic that this place has. Every room is so unique and thought out that you honestly can't pick a favourite. The food is lovely, the chef made the Eggs Benedict perfect. It's as if they spent their whole life trying to perfect that one particular dish. Not too dry and not too saucy. There is a restaurant on the premises and I had lunch. What I can say about that is the exact same response I have for breakfast. Perfect. Well done to the teams as well as the owner, you guys are doing great.

Such a hidden gem for a weekend escape right in town. The atmosphere is calm and luxurious—perfect for unwinding. The food? Absolutely unforgettable. Every dish was a treat (from dinner to bfast). Service was top-notch and accommodative and the rooms were spacious, cozy, and beautifully done. Honestly, loved every moment here!"
