We had a room overlooking the sea with a balcony and the view was incredible. The hotel has an air of faded grandeur but this adds to its charm. Comfortable rooms with basic facilities. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast, bar service was great and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I think it is absolutely ‘the’ place to stay in Cala Figuera and can’t recommend it highly enough for the view, setting and atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the boats come in and out - do make sure you book with a sea view if you can.

Stayed in the hotel for a week. Fantastic view from our balcony, right by the sea. A short walk to the rocky coastline with metal steps into the sea. Good snorkelling.||Breakfast was very good and afternoon snacks were good. The owners were delightful and very helpful as were all the other people who worked there.||Hotel is a very short walk to a number of good restaurants and the fishing port.||Simple rooms but very pleasant. Would stay there again.

We were very unhappy with the condition of the apartment (21) we rented from 15-20 July 2020. The apartment has several serious problems. The water quality is really bad - so much mineral and salt that both drinking and even bathing/washing was a problem. Both the bed mattresses are very soft and old, uncomfortable and we had backaches from them. The internet connection is not strong enough to get any signal in the bedroom. The apartment does not have enough electrical outlets - you could easily spend 5-6 Euros and get a triple plug for the kitchen so we would not have to constantly pull out and changes plugs for the coffee machine, toaster, microwave. The main room has a child proof plug very low and difficult to reach. Finally the air-conditioner in the bedroom is very weak and it was too warm at night. In view of the poor quality, I tried for weeks to work out quietly with them to get a small re-embursement of the fee paid. They could not care less. It is all about the money. Never again will we stay there.

Fantastic hotel with fabulous views of the sea and harbour. Room was spotless and cleaned every day (air con was a little disappointing and shower was small but nothing we couldn't cope with and the fabulous views and the sound of the sea made up for it). Brilliant choice at breakfast and we chose to eat ours on the terrace with beautiful views across the sea. Our first time in Cala Figuera and we were not disappointed, a beautiful fishing village, nice restaurants and friendly people would recommend it if you looking for a more typical Spanish holiday.

Maybe it is not the best hotel standard, maybe rooms are a little bit outdated but location and the view will reward you everything. Very friendly service, proper breakfasts, calm and peaceful atmosphere. You can also jump into the sea just below the hotel terrace. Furthermore, in the evening you fall asleep to the sound of waves. I felt very sorry to leave this place.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, indeed quite old fashioned but functional and well furnished. The strong point is the terrace overlooking the Cala, just amazing and relaxing. Swimming pool is nice (nothing special). The only weak point is the soundproofing between rooms that is almost not present as you can hear your neighbour, and especially when he sings in the shower everyday around midnight ;-).

We stayed in an apartment at the Villa Sirena in the lovely fishing village of Cala Figuera.||The apartments are over the road from the hotel and ours was up a rather steep flight of uneven stone stairs to the pool area, it was quite a task carrying our suitcases up, and then later down, those stairs.||Our apartment was large but somewhat dated in fittings, e.g. a shower head on a hose which clipped to the wall at the end of the bath fed by a mixer tap. We didn’t have any problems with a lack of hot water, but others in our party complained about this.||The breakfast in the hotel was reasonably good, we were on a b&b basis, but whether it was worth €14 (the price on the door) is debatable. The food itself was a good mix of continental with hot dishes that varied each day on a 3 or 4 day cycle; in particular the scrambled eggs were delicious, more rustic than in some hotels but a really good egg taste; I suspect they used fresh local eggs.||The balcony next to the bar area (which only stayed open until 9.30 pm) has possibly one of the best views in the village being at the start of the inlet into Cala Figuera.|

We spent 8 days in mid Sept. at Hotel Villa Sirena. The hotel fulfills the expectations based on reviews, photos, datas. 3 floors, elevator(2pp), basic, but valid units. Large dining area with huge terrace and direct link into the sea which is amazing. Clear, deep water with pleasently mild water temp. Room has TV, chairs, wardrobe, cupboards, shower and a small fridge which is great. Balconies are oriented to 4 directions: Fishing-harbour, Street, Harbour-neck, open sea. We had the ‚harbour-neck‘ orientation which is the long side visible on most of the photos on the web. It is a partial view to the sea and the harbour. Our room was on the top floor. Was perfect. The weather was very hectic, sunny and rainshowers, loads of clouds. The sea was wilder than this time normally which was only disturbing during the evenings as the sea made real noise hitting the rocky edges around. Despite of this the views are winning. And one can observe the large fishing ships leaving the harbour every day around 4:30-5:00am and coming back at 5pm. It is really unique. The staff is super nice and helpful. Berakfest is just enough and perfekt, decent variaty of choices. One can eat either enjoying the harbour view or the open sea. The hotel offers free parasols take away with end of the day return. There is also a swimming pool belonging to the hotel and the appartments. We rather enjoyed the sea instead. Wi-fi operated perfectly. Cleaning was on a daily basis. The charm of this place is not only the views and the so direct contact with the sea but the calm, peacful ambient of the small village. The ladder from the rocks into the sea is truly an added value. The village beats a few nice restaurants. There is a supermarket a few hundred meters away. Parking is possible on rhe streets around. It can be bit busy sometimes. Palma airport is about 40-50mins away depending on the traffic. At night there is a reception service. All in all it won‘t make any disappointments. At least we had no problem.
