Sunday Villa Sirilanna Hotel

My recent stay at Sunday Villa SirLana was nothing short of exemplary. While the villa itself exudes a charming and serene ambiance, what truly elevated my experience was the unparalleled level of hospitality provided by the staff. ​In particular, I would like to extend my heartfelt commendation to one of the young gentlemen on the service team. His professionalism was matched only by his genuine warmth and proactive nature. From the moment I arrived, he demonstrated an astute attention to detail, ensuring that every facet of my stay was meticulously catered to. Even when addressing minor requests, his efficiency and poise were truly remarkable for someone of his years. ​It is rare to encounter service that feels both seamless and profoundly sincere. This young man is an absolute credit to Sunday Villa SirLana, and his dedication to guest satisfaction undoubtedly sets a benchmark for luxury hospitality. I am thoroughly impressed and will certainly be returning, thanks in large part to the stellar service I received.

Villa Sirilanna in Chiang Mai was wonderful. We were kindly upgraded to a better room, which was a lovely surprise, and the outdoor pool was beautiful and very relaxing. We enjoyed the jacuzzi bath and the staff were helpful with booking an airport transfer for us. The only thing I would say could improve was the cleanliness of the room, the bathroom felt it could’ve definitely been cleaner and the areas behind the beds. A great stay with thoughtful service, would happily return.

Prime location in old city, close to chiang mai international airport. Didn't managed to use the jacuzzi, would try if I have sufficient time. The shower head seems quite rusty which caused my skin and face to itch. Overall good stay, would stay again if the shower head is well maintained.

We loved our stay at Villa Sirilanna Hotel! The lovely colonial-style decor took us back in time. The room was clean, the furnishings were rich, and there was an inviting jacuzzi-tub in the bathroom! We appreciated how quiet our room was, as Chiang Mae is a busy town and most hotels cannot provide such a quiet room. Breakfast was scrumptious, with eggs cooked to order, and lots of fresh fruit, as well as cooked vegis and noodles. The location was ideal. Everything was walking distance. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and both Swan and Ann went out of their way to make us feel at home. All of the staff spoke English well enough to communicate. Villa Sirilanna made our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Chiang Mae.

We Stayed In The ( Luxury King Bed With Spa Bath & Private Balcony ) Room, Beautiful Lanna Style Decor With Luxuries Fit For Royalty. Very Clean, Spacious Room With Comfy Bed & Pillows. Amazing Views Of The City From The 3rd Level Balcony, Overlooking The Stunning Pool Area. The A/C Was Cool & Super Quiet For Sleeping. The Buffet Breakfast Was Delicious, Great Selection Of Western & Thai Cuisine & Great Coffee. You Feel Like You Are Staying At The Royal Palace, The Whole Place Just Oozes Luxurious Lanna Style Charm. The Staff Here Are Amazing & Can't Do Enough To Help You, Super Friendly & Courteous. The Location Here Is Great, Easy Walking Distance To Markets, Restaurants, Cafes & Lots Of Tourist Attractions. We Stayed 5 Nights Here & Would Highly Recommend This Hotel To The Most Fastidious Of People, It Represents Great Value & We Thoroughly Enjoyed Every Aspect Of This Beautifully Maintained Hotel. We Shall Be Definitely Staying Here On Our Next Visit.

Had an amazing stay here! Friendly staff, good food and nice service! :) they were helpful with arranging day tours and the prices were nominal and the drivers were super friendly as well. The hotel is located very close to some of the popular spots in the old city but it is also quiet, so you won't hear any loud noises and can have a sound sleep! 10/10 would recommend this place for holidays!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sirilanna. The location is perfect. You can quickly reach the city on foot. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and communication was very easy. The hotel room had a typical Thai interior design, which we absolutely loved. We highly recommend Sirilanna <3

We traveled all over Thailand for two weeks, and this was by far the worst experience of our trip. We booked directly through Villa Sirilanna’s website back in August 2025 for our November stay, knowing the Yi Peng Festival would make Chiang Mai extremely busy. Unfortunately, that was a mistake, booking directly meant we had no protection when things went wrong.||Just two weeks before our trip, the hotel abruptly canceled our reservation, claiming “management changes and construction.” My panicked emails went unanswered for an entire week. When they finally responded, they said the room was suddenly available again.||At check-in, things got worse, they tried to charge us more than three times (almost four times!) the agreed-upon price, hoping I wouldn’t notice. Only after I insisted and showed the confirmation from their own website did they reluctantly correct it.||Breakfast was overpriced (250 baht per person) and disappointing. You can find much better food nearby for half the cost. The only positives were the large, ornate rooms and the convenient Old Town location.||Overall, the stress, dishonesty, and lack of professionalism completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable stay. Avoid booking here, there are plenty of other hotels in Chiang Mai that actually value their guests.
