A Perfect Escape at Villa Sparina Resort! Our stay at Villa Sparina Resort was absolutely magical—a true haven in the heart of Piedmont. Tucked away in the rolling hills of Gavi, surrounded by vineyards and lush nature, this place is the definition of peace and elegance. The resort is stunning, with beautifully restored buildings that combine historic charm with modern comfort. But the real highlight? The food and wine. Every dish we had was a masterpiece of local flavors—fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. And the wine, of course, was nothing short of exquisite. Dining at the resort was a highlight of each day, with perfect pairings and unforgettable ambiance. Villa Sparina is more than just a hotel—it’s a complete experience of Piedmontese culture, nature, and hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended.

This resort feels like it was pulled straight out of a movie, truly a hidden gem surrounded by breathtaking nature that one must experience to really appreciate. This is my first time here it’s A Hidden Gem in Gavi, Piedmont 🇮🇹 Tucked away in the rolling hills of Gavi, in the province of Alessandria, Saprina Resort is a sanctuary of peace, beauty, and soul-deep restoration. Owned and run by three brothers, the place radiates warmth, authenticity, and quiet elegance. It’s not just a stay—it’s an experience of rejuvenation, revitalization, and healing. From the lush surroundings to the refined hospitality, everything here invites you to breathe deeper, slow down, and reconnect—with nature and with yourself. Whether you’re escaping the noise or seeking inner stillness, this corner of Piedmont is a call to serenity you won’t want to ignore.

Villa Sparina Resort is a place of beauty, calm and happiness. The food at restaurant "La Gallina" is exceptional, too. The historic house boasts modern art and has been renovated beautifully. Everything is surrounded by a wonderful, colorful garden. Most romantic view of the sunset over the Alps!

We had the most incredible stay at the Amazing Villa Sparing Resort. From start to finish, the hospitality, attention to detail, the incredible staff, and breathtaking views made this the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. A special thank you to the team for going above and beyond—especially when they kindly arranged a takeaway breakfast for us because of our early flight. That level of thoughtfulness truly made a difference. Huge shout-out to Mattio, who helped us at 5 a.m. with a big smile, kind words, and clear directions. His warmth and professionalism made our departure smooth and memorable. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

A Dreamy Escape to Villa Sparina. Tucked away among the rolling green hills and picturesque vineyards, Villa Sparina is an absolute gem. This beautifully maintained and romantic property offers not only breathtaking surroundings, but also warm, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. Without a doubt, it’s one of the finest hotels in the region. A highlight of the stay is the on-site La Gallina restaurant — a true fine dining experience in every sense, and worth a visit on its own. I would return in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian getaway with charm, elegance, and unforgettable cuisine, I can’t recommend Villa Sparina highly enough.

This time, a wine tasting took place, with plans to stop and stay at this beautiful place next time. The experience began with a tour of the villa, beautifully conducted by Veronica, who shared the history of the place along with fascinating details about the family, the estate, and the vineyards. The wine was excellent - tasted 3 varieties - but more awaited in the restaurant later, leading to the purchase of a few of bottles to take home. The atmosphere is simply magical, making it an ideal venue for a wedding or other special event, 5 stars to everything!

Updated Review: We cannot speak more highly of Villa Sparina and the staff! We celebrated a wedding there so I can attest to the feedback of over 100 people and over 50 staying guests. Unanimously everyone thought that Villa Sparina is an absolute gem, from the location to the food & wine, the rooms, how they were treated by the staff and the overall feeling that the experience left with them. Special mention goes to Francesca for her professionalism in helping to organise the wedding…literally everything went to plan thanks to her (and the staff and the vendors’) efforts.
