Tucked away in the rolling hills of Gavi, surrounded by vineyards and lush nature, this place is the definition of peace and elegance. The resort is stunning, with beautifully restored buildings that combine historic charm with modern comfort. But the real highlight? The food and wine. Every dish we had was a masterpiece of local flavors—fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. And the wine, of course, was nothing short of exquisite. Dining at the resort was a highlight of each day, with perfect pairings and unforgettable ambiance. Villa Sparina is more than just a hotel—it’s a complete experience of Piedmontese culture, nature, and hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended.

This resort feels like it was pulled straight out of a movie, truly a hidden gem surrounded by breathtaking nature that one must experience to really appreciate. The estate, which has stood since the 1700s, exudes timeless elegance and charm. Every corner tells a story, yet it still offers all the comfort and luxury you’d hope for. This is my first time here it’s A Hidden Gem in Gavi, Piedmont 🇮🇹 Tucked away in the rolling hills of Gavi, in the province of Alessandria, Saprina Resort is a sanctuary of peace, beauty, and soul-deep restoration. Owned and run by three brothers, the place radiates warmth, authenticity, and quiet elegance. It’s not just a stay—it’s an experience of rejuvenation, revitalization, and healing. From the lush surroundings to the refined hospitality, everything here invites you to breathe deeper, slow down, and reconnect—with nature and with yourself. Whether you’re escaping the noise or seeking inner stillness, this corner of Piedmont is a call to serenity you won’t want to ignore.

We had the most incredible stay at the Amazing Villa Sparing Resort. From start to finish, the hospitality, attention to detail, the incredible staff, and breathtaking views made this the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. A special thank you to the team for going above and beyond—especially when they kindly arranged a takeaway breakfast for us because of our early flight. That level of thoughtfulness truly made a difference. Huge shout-out to Mattio, who helped us at 5 a.m. with a big smile, kind words, and clear directions. His warmth and professionalism made our departure smooth and memorable. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

Incredible location with beautiful views and a really nice restaurant. Definitely recommend having a car to get here, especially if you plan to visit the surrounding area. The highlight of our stay was our winery tour with Veronica - you could tell how passionate she was about the wines and history of Villa Sparina. We did a wine tasting afterwards, we were lucky to be the only two there, and she made it a really special experience for us.

Villa Sparina Resort is a place of beauty, calm and happiness. The food at restaurant "La Gallina" is exceptional, too. The historic house boasts modern art and has been renovated beautifully. Everything is surrounded by a wonderful, colorful garden. Most romantic view of the sunset over the Alps!

Without a doubt, it’s one of the finest hotels in the region. A highlight of the stay is the on-site La Gallina restaurant — a true fine dining experience in every sense, and worth a visit on its own. I would return in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian getaway with charm, elegance, and unforgettable cuisine, I can’t recommend Villa Sparina highly enough.

This time, a wine tasting took place, with plans to stop and stay at this beautiful place next time. The experience began with a tour of the villa, beautifully conducted by Veronica, who shared the history of the place along with fascinating details about the family, the estate, and the vineyards. The wine was excellent - tasted 3 varieties - but more awaited in the restaurant later, leading to the purchase of a few of bottles to take home. The atmosphere is simply magical, making it an ideal venue for a wedding or other special event, 5 stars to everything!
