Villa Valdibora

We got a room, which didn't fit to our expectations and to the shown fotos. The service personell immediatelly gave us a new room and asked several times, if everything would be ok. The were very engaged in every topic and tried to help and give usefull informations and hints. The location is perfect in the old center. Just parking is a matter which is not easy to solve. Even the integrated restaurant csn be recommended. Would love to go there again.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in this centrally located hotel. The accommodation has a rustic, homely charm and the rooms are spacious and have a passable air conditioning unit. But the rooms are large, light and effectively simple in design. ||The breakfast was led by an excellent lady who provides fresh ingredients and a good range of high quality foods. This is preferable to having a very large variety of mediocre foods and the breakfast left us very satisfied every morning. She had a warm service and was very attentive. ||The manager, Stefano, is an excellent and dedicated personality in the hotel and he sent a driver for us on arrival, met us to help carry our luggage and made fantastic restaurant recommendations. One of the restaurants that he referred us to - Tutto Bene - was a highlight of the holiday. I have left a separate review for the restaurant. ||If you have an opportunity to stay in beautiful Rovinj, the hotel is an excellent option. Thank you Stefano and the team for our stay.

The location was great and I would have loved to leave a nice review but the quality of the room was just very low. This is a 4-star hotel and my room was 180 euros for one night! For 180 euros, you don't expect to walk into a shower with a faulty shower head, moldy caulking everywhere, black residue inside the toilet bowl, a buildup of mold on the sink faucet... you don't expect to find rusty shelves and black mold on the walls of the room. This was simply unacceptable, even for a 1-star hotel. The management begrudgingly moved us to a different room, which was better but still I cannot recommend this hotel.

The first important thing to know is that you cannot arrive by car to the hotel: you must leave the car in a parking lot, and a driver (taxi) then takes you to your destination; this service costs € 13 per day, which are paid upon check-out. The hotel is practically in the center of the village, it is very nice, housed in an old structure but equipped with all comforts. The rooms are large enough, the staff is very kind, starting with Stefano, the hotel manager. Breakfast is more than sufficient and of good quality, with a little preponderance of the salty part. The location is perfect, from here you can reach any place, by pleasant walks; also the pier, from which to leave for the excursions to the islands, is two steps away. The only downside, in my opinion, is daily cleaning, which is a bit superficial and could be better. In any case, this is a place I would recommend

Very expensive hotel which is a 3 stars and not 4. They give us 2 rooms and 15 minutes later the recepcionist told us that she has commited a mistake and she change us one of the rooms to a worst room(small and dark)They should clean more the bathroom and renew the bed linen. Breakfast was good and it has an incredible location in the center of the town.

So firstly, the location - on a beautiful picturesque street in the middle of the Old Town - it's really easy to get to (as long as you don't follow Google Maps directions which will wind you far away from it). The breakfast and lounge area are charming and cozy. As for the room - we had booked a one bedroom apartment through TripAdvisor - and while we received a one bedroom apartment, it was very different in person from the luxurious images they provided on the trip advisor website. There are several rooms in the building, all different and you never know which one you'll receive (we had room #01). The sitting area was adequate, though nothing special, the bedroom was a bit cramped - with an odd window that looked into a cramped patio/storage space. For our needs it was definitely adequate and for the price it was more than fair - though I do wish the pictures weren't so different from what they presented online. Either they had a really good photographer or for the same room category, some of the rooms are much nicer than others. Overall, you can't beat the location, the price, and the cozy feel of the hotel in general - just temper your expectations as to what room you end up with.

This hotel is in a wonderful location! The rooms are very nice and clean. When I arrived I was greeted by a young woman named Ela who was very friendly and helpful! She even offered to show me around Rovinj In her free time. She makes all of the guests feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms: They were not clean at all. In the bathroom there were still hairs from the previous guest, in the drawer some garbage and the remote control was also missing...||Parking: The host is not able to send the correct location via E-Mail or WhatsApp. First we thought it is only with us but we realized that also other guest had the same problem. Furthermore we left us waiting for more than twenty minutes.....after that time we decided to walk with all our stuff.....finally we came there and the host was just chitchatting with some other ones and completely forgot us.||Recommendations: We asked the host if we knows a nice place for dinner next to the sea. When we got there.....it was a restaurant next to a constructions site. So we left again.....||The location is good,,,but that is the only thing....
