Villa Valdibora

What a great hotel!! It has everything, great location, the best staff, super rooms and an amazing restaurant. We were so well looked after there, the employees couldn't do enough for us and were a very friendly and positive group of people. One of our party is vegan and this dietary requirement was catered for both at breakfast and in the restaurant. On a non-vegan note, the tuna tartar was superb and I had the best Croatian red wine.. the Teran. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the label. This a hotel which we would definitely return to. Thank you!

Perfect Rovinj Getaway at Villa Valdibora :) Enjoyed my stay at Villa Valdibora! Beautiful old villa ideally situated in middle of Old Town, near the sea. Staff were fantastic – so friendly and helpful, especially Karla who was a jewel! My room was cozy and spotless. Beautiful breakfast too. Would highly recommend for wonderful Rovinj experience!

We got a room, which didn't fit to our expectations and to the shown fotos. The service personell immediatelly gave us a new room and asked several times, if everything would be ok. The were very engaged in every topic and tried to help and give usefull informations and hints. The location is perfect in the old center. Just parking is a matter which is not easy to solve. Even the integrated restaurant csn be recommended. Would love to go there again.

The location was great and I would have loved to leave a nice review but the quality of the room was just very low. This is a 4-star hotel and my room was 180 euros for one night! For 180 euros, you don't expect to walk into a shower with a faulty shower head, moldy caulking everywhere, black residue inside the toilet bowl, a buildup of mold on the sink faucet... you don't expect to find rusty shelves and black mold on the walls of the room. This was simply unacceptable, even for a 1-star hotel. The management begrudgingly moved us to a different room, which was better but still I cannot recommend this hotel.

The first important thing to know is that you cannot arrive by car to the hotel: you must leave the car in a parking lot, and a driver (taxi) then takes you to your destination; this service costs € 13 per day, which are paid upon check-out. The hotel is practically in the center of the village, it is very nice, housed in an old structure but equipped with all comforts. The rooms are large enough, the staff is very kind, starting with Stefano, the hotel manager. Breakfast is more than sufficient and of good quality, with a little preponderance of the salty part. The location is perfect, from here you can reach any place, by pleasant walks; also the pier, from which to leave for the excursions to the islands, is two steps away. The only downside, in my opinion, is daily cleaning, which is a bit superficial and could be better. In any case, this is a place I would recommend

Its a beautiful property, really old building , but a hotel must be run efficiently and make their guests comfortable. More than half the time , there is no one at the reception. We were lucky that we got Stephano at the reception when we checked in. The next day when we returned to our rooms, we found that it wasn't cleaned and Stephano didnt know about it! ||WiFi is spotty.||I wouldn't stay here again. While the ambience is good, its not enough for a comfortable stay.||Needs better management

This hotel is not a hotel: it is a hostel where the staff cannot speak English. Therefore, it should not have 4 stars. The rooms are not as elegant as the photos, some elements of the bathroom are dirty and even the latter has no privacy. In its favor it has that it is located in the center of Rovinj, that the breakfast is quite acceptable and that it has air conditioning in all the rooms. The price is totally high for what it offers.
