Villa Varos

A small and friendly hotel in a good location close to the city centre. Everything is within walking distance. Communication was good and I got help when I needed it. The room was compact and very clean. Soundproofing to adjacent rooms was perhaps the biggest minus, as the creaking of the floor, speech and music could be heard in my room from time to time. But the nights were generally peaceful. I can recommend to anyone who doesn't need special luxury services but rather a basic place to stay.

The rooms are small, but the excellent layout more than makes up for it. The best reason to stay at Villa Varos is the location! You are right there at the edge of the tourist area, not in the middle of it.

Loved staying in Villa Varos. Rooms were exceptionally clean and welcoming. Staff are top notch and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend staying during the off season as well as high season. VV is close to town and just a few minutes down to the beautiful promenade.

Incredibly clean. We’ve stayed in 7 apartments through our trip and this was the best one. Feel very safe behind a heavy door, bathrooms are spotless. Hosts are very friendly and talkative. Good furniture and the investment into the apartment is noticeable. Location is excellent and we got 20% of our meal just by staying here, for the price, you cannot beat this.

Had a very pleasant stay. I booked the apartment suite and a double comfort room. We stayed three nights and enjoyed the lovely terrace in the evening after a long day of sightseeing. A beautiful stone villa that is located near the city center but off the main hustle and bustle. Very clean and spacious rooms. Was equipped with everything that is needed. We were welcomed by the owner Gregory and his wife Ana. They pointed out the main attractions of what to see and where to eat. Top recommendation was Fratelli and we were pleasantly satisfied. Gregory and Ana were great! Wish you a good season!

My sister and I stayed at Villa Varos end of April 2023 and it was perfect for anyone wanting to be right near the harbour and lots of restaurants, but also wanting some peace and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, rooms and bathroom were a great size and Ana was super helpful and lovely to deal with.

Gregory and Anna are beautiful people. The rooms are amazing - they have gorgeous wooden beds and wooden flooring. Really fast WiFi as well. We came back for 3 more nights because we loved it so much! Gregory told us about his brother's restaurant where we had the best pizza ever!! And we even got a discount for being guests at Villa Varos.
