Villa Vicuña Cafayate Hotel Boutique

Lovely hotel in a faultless location. Thoughtful and welcoming design, excellent and helpful staff (with particular appreciation of the take-out breakfast when we needed to leave early one morning). A gorgeous garden to sit out in too. A perfect complement to the city.

What a fabulous oasis this is. Ideally placed in the centre of Salta I cannot think of a single bad word to say apart from the fact that you need mosquito repellent to sit in the lovely little garden in the evening.|The colonial style building is so nice and the rooms magnificent. I can't comment on the breakfast because we kept missing it due to early pick up times but I can say that on both mornings the overnight staff were kind enough to pack something up for us to take and even made us a fresh coffee. All the staff were amazing but a special mention to Santiago who was wonderful and welcoming and spoke excellent English.

No complaints this hotel is owned by the same family that own the Vicuna in Salta and the same attention to detail, care and great staff applies here as it does there.|The location is a little out of the town centre but not far enough to be a problem.|Rooms are spacious and well appointed.|A delight to stay here and again an oasis of calm and tranquility.

The hotel is centrally located, two minutes away from the main square. It is beautiful with a patio to enjoy breakfast. Service was good and welcoming. I suggest preferring the double room or the suite, as the room with balcony was rather noisy due to the street below with dogs barking and cars. The room we moved to the second night was calm and beautiful. Excellent breakfast.

A great experience for three nights in this charming town. Excellent location, peaceful premises and lots of pretty guest sitting areas. Staff is kind and low key helpful. Breakfast very good with homemade baked goods and jams as well as scrambled eggs. Recommended. Parking is on the street.

Great leisurely breakfast in beautiful courtyard. Artsy, very spacious and comfortable. Very walkable to shops, plaza, restaurants. Felt quite safe, and plenty of parking. Staff was always there, always eager to help. Ala carte kitchen.

Great stay. We stayed at the double room, right above the reception and it was a delight. Nice, “old fashioned” decoration. The personnel was also nice, albeit their English definitely could be improved. The breakfast was “home made” and we enjoyed it very much. I would not recommend so much their second building, the one on the right as you from the street, as the room our kids stayed was not as nicely decorated.

We loved this cute boutique hotel. They served the best breakfast of the Salta Province. Handmade with love, in a charming setting. All services were excellent, Frontdesk staff were helpfull and friendly. The location is just 100 steps from the center and restaurants away. I highly recommend it.
