Village Cafe Lindos

We visited recently for coffee and cake, whilst visiting the beautiful streets of Lindos. Shady and calming, it was a welcome stop to get out of the searing heat. Service was quick and efficient. We were going to have the orange drizzle cake, but it looked like it had a layer of mould on one corner, so instead, we opted for a safer looking Danish pastry. The coffee was tasty and refreshing. A nice stop off, just a bit put off by the dodgy looking cake.

Visited on a hot day and was exactly what I was hoping for. I had the Italian Sandwich and both the filling and bread were fantastic. The staff were very friendly and the fans were cooling. A good gluten free menu.

I had put the Village Cafe on the itinerary for my day trip to Lindos when I was still back in Australia based on their beautiful photos, website & positive reviews - I was not disappointed. Tucked away in a quiet side street in Lindos, the cafe is beautifully designed & immaculately presented. The toilets are free to use for patrons & the cleanest I have experienced in Rhodes. The service was attentive & polite. Unfortunately, we could only order drinks as we were still full from our resort breakfast but were glad we stopped in. The food looked delicious & was carefully presented. 5 stars - highly recommend when visiting Lindos!

Best breakfast spot in town. The menu is vast, with many options. Some items have a slight Greek twist on them which is great. Coffee is spectacular. The interior is super clean and simple. Slightly on the more expensive side, but makes sense as to why.

A peaceful and shaded cafe spot in Lindos Town, tucked off the main thoroughfare. We only stayed for drinks (great iced coffee), but the food that we saw brought out looked brill! The pastries smelled amazing! There is no sea view from this cafe, but the cool breeze and shaded roof provided a welcome break from the summer sun.

It was nice place for having snack. There is no more options in breakfast with beetroot or with omelette on the menu. But you still have bowls, granola, croissants. Mostly sweet stuff. Salty are sandwiches, which you can see on my pictures. One is with egg and avocado another is chicken gyros.

Lovely service, good food and nice atmosphere

Really nice place and aymozphere. Pies are amazing, service was quick and friendly. Granola bowl nice and all fruits were fresh.
