Mixed experience, ordered at the counter and had to be collect our own coffee with a buzzer but food was brought to table. We had pancakes which were nice, but after paying $3 each for strawberries on top, and then only putting 1 strawberry on each plate was very disappointing. Should have gone to the shop for a punnet. Coffee was nice, could have been larger.

The worst dining experience I’ve had in Australia. I ordered a smashed avocado, and the avocado layer was minimal and completely tasteless, plus the toast was hard. I also ordered French toast, which had a sour taste, dry edges, and was chewy. I’m leaving very disappointed.

Considering that this was a Café with lots of foot traffic, I was surprised how vacant it was. The waitstaff was not attentive and several customers turned away waiting despite the vacancy. I hope they can improve in the future. As for the food & drinks, the drinks were wonderful, but I was dissatisfied with my steak sandwich. It was tough and made with cheap cuts. The rest of my family was satiated, but agreed the food was average.

Our experience was mixed. More than 1 hr wait for food during Christmas Day is probably expected. The food in general were both good but at the one hour wait mark, we were told that one of the dishes was not available and we had to wait longer to reorder. If you are in a rush, this is probably not the place for you. My eggs Benedict was good and my partner’s steak sandwich was also good. But she had to wait another 30 mins (1.5 hrs in total) for hers to arrive. It is Christmas so they must be short staffed and this is understandable.

Overpriced food. Had buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and cream. Other cafes include ice cream or something, I asked for a strawberries: they gave me 2 small strawberries for $3😣 even the small hot chocolate coast $5. We had to wipe our own table because bartender didn’t do it. It was so dirty…. There is only one bartender so whole process is soo slow. We had to wait like 10 minutes for our table to be ,,cleaned”. Bad bad bad!!!

Very expensive food, 109€ for a burger a veggie wrap and 2 beers, the burger bun was smashed and cold, the cheese was still cold from the fridge, the salt on the table was empty and the little in it was a pack of humidity. Staff very useless its basically a self service place, with dirty tables. Even asked just for a tap water and you have almost to go and pour it yourself. I know the lazy Australian way of working, but at least for Christmas you could make a little effort! Shame because the place is cute and food could be very yummi.

Google
I give a 2 star for food, 3 for service since it’s Christmas and we expected a wait. But it took an hour for very poor quality food. We paid $25 for a vegan breakfast. They gave bread that wasn’t toasted, and a hash brown that you’d get from the grocery store and reheat it. For $25 I’d expect fresh roasted potatoes given the lack of other expensive ingredients. (Also got canned beans) Very disappointed. Looks like a maybe $5-8 meal

After a long walk on a main street nothing beats the coffee here @Village Cafe! Great location right before Woolworths. I was mesmerized with the service! I just had a cappuccino and it was served few moments after sitting! It was served with a smile. It such a relief! This is Exactly what I’m after for. A local experience that you can only get here. I didn’t have the chance to get their names but I do sure received warm smiles and hospitality! Kudos to the team! I do hope to visit Airlie Beach again. See us again!

Yelp
Located at the end of a walkway and to the right of Woolworths, this cafe has some solid food and pleases service. Vegetarian review: vegan wrap was pretty good, if not a bit messy. The mushroom, uh, juice? in it makes the bottom of the wrap soggy rather quickly. There's a hash brown in it as well, which was interesting. It's there not so much for taste as for texture, maybe. Fries were great. From the look of the big breakie, I'd say try the vegan/vegetarian one if you want a veggie option.

Yelp
Based on what I tried. I should warn others not to come here :/ My pork belly tacos were inedible. I could not pass the smell and after taste of sewer water. The taco shells were so past it's shelf life time span. I felt like I was part of the zombie apocalypse and I was on life rationings and we didn't have clean water to cook with. Disappointed as our first meal in airlie beach :(

Yelp
I ordered a cappuccino, eggs Benedict with bacon and a hash brown. I enjoyed my meal, it was was a typical breakfast and tasted lovely, portions were quite good for the money, it consisted of two pieces of sourdough toast, spinach, 2 eggs and hollandaise sauce. coffees are not huge but are strong. Food came out fairly quick too. Eggs Benedict with bacon $18 Hash brown $2.50 Cappuccino $4.90

Yelp
Great atmosphere for any time of the day. Came here for breakfast and couldn't complain. Glad we stopped in Food portions are generous and extremely fresh! Quite cheap prices considering the meal sizes and large menu to select from. Be sure to try their fresh juices!

Yelp
If you are looking for a casual but lovely "real" restaurant, this is your place. Nice location in the middle of Airlie Beach. Have a desting with good service. Order at the waitress. Healthy and good food for a reasonable price. Could have a little bit more veggie dishes, but the ones we had havd been tasty. Go for the pumpkin salad.

Yelp
Their juices here are amazingly good and fresh so far I have tried their Strawberries and cream.. yummy Their pick me up which is a greens pineapple and mint juice Get their eggs florentine: consists of a nicely done poached egg, huge mushroom spinach mushroom and hollaindaise sauce. The next morning I also got my pick me up drink and this time with toast avocado( you got a whole avocado) they don't mess around with no halves here with poached egg and it comes with a side spinach salad. Simple breakfast but perfectly handled. Dinner came and got their chicken fajita hot stone. I cooked!!haha the chicken they offer is very soft tender and juicy. I hate cooking chicken. But it wasn't dry at all as I would have thought.

Yelp
The food was ok, but the service wasn't. If there's "2 eggs on bread" on the menu and you order 2 eggs on bread you expect one dish with 2 eggs on breads. However, I got 2 dishes with 2 eggs each! Explaining the case didn't help. From the managers point of view it was my fault and I had to pay. That's what I call bad service.

Yelp
Came with 4 friends for breakfast and everyone was very happy with their meals. I got the eggs Benedict with salmon and the hollandaise sauce was a little too sweet/lemony for my taste but still very good. There are cheaper options nearby though.

Yelp
Not something to write home about, flat white was good but eggs bacon on toast just didn't taste right
