Love this place! My wife and I came thanksgiving week for our anniversary, and we stayed in the adventure cabin. It’s in a great spot, pretty much half way between arches and downtown. In 30 minutes or less you get downtown, arches, la sal mountains, dead horse, etc. I would absolutely do the cabin again. If I had to gripe, it would be that there is only a mini fridge(no freezer) and a microwave in the “kitchen” and I didn’t notice that in the Air B&B ad. I assumed it had more and I came for 7 days on thanksgiving week so might have tried one of their houses or something. I did just fine though. Management was extremely friendly and hospitable, the park is very nice, and the location is perfect. Just do it.

Loved this place. It’s close to everything, maybe an 8 minute drive to Arches National Park. It was SO clean. I think they probably cleaned the bathrooms twice a day while we were there. The horseshoe pit and pickleball court were nice and the hot tub had great jets. Our kids loved being able to pet the horse. Would recommend to anyone.

This was our first time to Moab and Portal RV Resort. What a great resort with 2 pools and hot tubs. Our site was level with full hook ups. Grounds were very well maintained. There were 2 dog play areas that our dogs thoroughly enjoyed. Resort was very big rig friendly. Portal is our choice when we return!

Loved this RV park. Great central location with fast and easy access to downtown, the river, bike trails, national parks, and off road/rock crawling. The RV sites are amongst the best we've seen. They are very spacious providing plenty of room for your tow vehicle, guests, and gear. Many come with concrete pads, cool private patio portals, landscape breaks and varying views based on your location in the park. The park in itself is extremely well kept and clean with lush landscape, water features and lots of amenities like pools, hot-tubs, yard games, pickle ball etc.. on top of all that it is pet accommodating and friendly. The park managers, Greg and Shelly, are very hands on and it shows. They personally take wonderful care of you and the park. They are great. Can't miss with with this one. Definitely my Moab Go-To.

We decided to try this RV park since it had good reviews. We come through Moab once a month and usually stay at the Sun Outdoors North, which we like. The place promise Wifi, if was not working, cable tv- there were no access in our site. The hot tub was not working either, but at least was hot. These are not major things but when you pay for something they should deliver what they advertise. The park itself is pretty and clean. Great clean showers and our dog loved the dog park. We’ll be going back to The Sun Outdoors North next time similar park same amenities. This experiment did not work.

Loved everything about Portal. Super clean. Great amenities including two heated pools, popcorn and coffee throughout the day, deluxe showers and bathrooms, modern card operated laundry. Moab also has a free shuttle service that runs from 9 AM to 9 PM which makes it easy to go into town without having to unhook the RV. Super handy for Arches National Park.

Advertised as premium site. There was a swimming pool which was good, but.... pitches were small, too close together and made up of fine gravel which meant the dust and wee stones were being brought into van on your shoes making for mess in the van. It would have been so much better if pitches were of concrete as like many other rv sites we have used. Not worth $74, we have been on much nicer sites at half the price, but I suppose, you are paying for the location being so close to Arches National Park

We loved staying here when it was The Portal in our 45 ft motor coach for the large sites to tow our toys. This week we made a last minute trip to Moab and wanted to try out their vacation rentals. Our travel dates were not certain so we had been checking back in on availability for a particular unit - always showed available. When we got to town we went to the resort, unfortunately arriving 10 minutes after close for their winter office hours (closed at 3) but could still see people around, but no response to phone or texts. We tried booking through AirB&B, to find it was a 24 hr hold for a "request to book" rather than a direct booking (not mentioned in app until after the booking sent) we waited onsite for a confirmation from air B&B at the obviously empty unit, the same truck that sat at the office drove by slow, without inquiring about us being on site, to speed off when we approached. Then we got the short, unprofessional response on the app "not available." As we drove away we stopped the truck to be informed its not available - we don't have it cleaned - I hope the private owners of the homes see that the management is not interested or motivated in having your investments filled - we took our money across the street to Moab River Ranch, where we got an immediate confirmation and a beautiful home for 6 days.
