Village Condo Hotel

This hotel is in a nice location but is very dated. The rooms had a strange odor the whole time I was there, perhaps because of heavy rains bringing sewage down from the mountains. The bedding was not modern, more of what you would expect in a Days Inn, etc. in the US. The rooms were also very loud. I could hear everything from the hallway and the room above me. When I checked in, I asked the staff if I could pay in local currency. Before trading my US dollars for local currency, I inquired again and asked for the specific amount my room would cost. After trading the US dollars, when I went to check out, they said I could not pay with the local currency. In case you don't know Argentina, you can't convert pesos back to dollars. This was a major problem that the staff created for me, and they were completely unhelpful in trying to come up with a solution to the problem. I spent over two hours dealing with this on the morning I was leaving, when I was originally planning to go up to the revolving restaurant at Cerro Otto, so it was not only frustrating and costly, but it also resulted in me missing a nice morning in Bariloche before flying out. I cannot recommend this property.

We stayed 1 week, 2 adults and 3 children in a 1 bedroom apartment. We were going ski in Cerro Cathedral in the end of season. ||||Positive; good breakfast, the room was prepared for children at arrival ( baby cod,bath tub and chair) without us asking for it. Easy cheack in/out, swim pool ( first day water was a bit cold for our baby) view to mountain from bedroom, clean, big fridge, micro and hoven to cook, well equipped kitchen, one 12 liter water tank for drinking free, close to a small supermarket that opens 09-22, spacious rooms, 2 TV set, Good and free Wifi, good heating system to regulate temperature inside the room, a balcony with parrilla, very nice staff in breakfast area and swimming pool,well cleaned, two elevators. Bus stop just outside the hotel.||||Negative: pillows were all synthetic material, you have to walk outside approx 40 meters on a gravel path to reach breakfast and swimming pool building ( when you carry a stroller it's annoying ), sauna costs extra, approx. 400 meter to reach main entrance of Cerro Cathedral area. We went to one arranged event for kids,but poorly organized for the smallest children. Extra charge for the second water tank.||||For family to go on ski holiday in Cerro cathedral there is a lot of places to rent ski ( so we did not have to carry the ski to hotel). It's a very nice kids club open in winter for baby's and smaller children in the base of the ski lift . There are many ski school that offer private and group ski lessons. We used Nestor ski and Xtrem ski school in front of the ski lift called "sextuple".

The tastiest pieces of salmon can be found in the restaurant at Village Condo. Fresh & flavoursome. The desserts were also very good. Friendly & helpful staff. If you like salmon this is the place to go.

Me alojé con mi señora en este lugar durante 15 días y la pasé muy bien. Departamento nuevo, moderno y muy amplio. Mobiliario de muy buena calidad y, repito, ambientes muy grandes que dan la sensación de estar en Miami. Desde los amplios ventanales y el balcon, que cuenta con parrilla privada, se puede observar por horas una vista hermosa del cerro Catedral. Servicio y atención, diez puntos. Desde el momento de la reserva y la confirmación me sentí muy bien tratado. Por email, y luego personalmente, experimenté el grato placer de recibir la atención profesional que todos esperamos. La recepción siempre tiene lo que uno pide y ante cualquier inconveniente tienen una solución rápida. El servicio de limpieza, siempre a disposición y con buena onda. Cuando requerí servicio de mantenimiento... al toque. Un servicio que es digno de los mejores hoteles. Y si no me equivoco, es una bajada de linea desde la gerencia. No llegué a conocer a los jefes, pero por la actitud de los subalternos, se puede inferir que se propusieron hacer de este complejo turístico un centro de relax de alto nivel. Muy recomendable. El único tema, que a mi gusto deberían mejorar, es el horario del check out. Son muy estrictos y hasta parece que te están echando. Entiendo que en temporada alta, cuando los siguientes pasajeros están esperando en el lobby, hagan hincapié en la retirada urgente, pero cuando los departamentos están vacíos, podrían ser un poco más flexibles.

Excelente lugar. No hay otro igual en Bariloche. Muy recomendable. Gracias por todo.

Para temporada de sky muy buena ubicación. Pero para verano queda alejado de laa playas. Muy comodos los apart.

A la hora de hacer la reserva, preguntamos reiteradas veces si el condo era para 5 personas. Después de que nos hayan asegurado de que esto era así, decidimos reservar, pagamos 800 dólares el día. Cuando llegamos nos encontramos con un departamento muy pequeño donde tres de las cinco personas tuvimos que dormir en el living en dos sillones camas y una cama adicional distribuidos en una U. Más allá del espacio, jamás recibimos la hospitalidad que se esperaría de un hotel que estás pagando 800 dólares el día. Cualquier cosa que querías te lo cobraban, en mi experiencia esto nunca es así. El desayuno muy malo, poca variedad y el staff tenia mala predisposición, si querías algo extra como un huevo te lo cobraban a precios elevados y sin factura. En resumen, precio-calidad insólito.

Malisima relación precio calidad! Estuvimos alojados dos noches, la habitación vieja, se escuchaba todo, baño viejo, bidet se movía. Lo más ridículo es que en el desayuno cuando pedimos huevos nos dijeron q no estaban incluidos y debíamos pagar 1000 la porción!!!! Y nos salio más.de.130 dolares la noche!!
