Village Hotel Albert Court

I recently stayed at the Village Hotel Albert Court and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the service really stood out. At check-in, Jun Song was warm, professional, and efficient, making the process smooth and welcoming after a long journey. During my stay, Jamal was truly exceptional. He helped with my bags to and from the room and greeted me every morning with a friendly smile. His attentiveness and genuine hospitality made me feel at home—he’s a real asset to the hotel and left a lasting impression. Overall, the combination of the hotel’s charm and the outstanding service from the staff made my stay memorable. I would highly recommend the Village Hotel Albert Court to anyone visiting Singapore.

Extremely happy with their hospitality. Very supportive and their very presence would lift up our spirits. Rooms were spacious neat and hygienic with all amenities in place. Food was as good. Very convenient location. They have all the facilities .

During my stay at the hotel, the staff member John was truly outstanding. Always welcoming with a smile, very professional, and quick to assist with any request. Thanks to his excellent service, I felt comfortable and well taken care of. A big thank you to him and the hotel management for such a high standard of hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Village Hotel Albert Court. Special thanks to Manger Eugene and his partner, Jun Song for making our stay more comfortable, and even helping us with early check-in on such a busy day. Their warm hospitality was truly appreciated. (Though we did notice some guests getting a little impatient about waiting for their rooms — but hey, check-in time is after 2pm 😉)|Bonus points for the location too — just across the main road to Little India and super close to the MRT, which made getting around so convenient

In a city where hotels are very expensive, Village Hotel Albert Court is good value for money. It is conveniently located between 2 major subway stops and with several restaurants nearby. The rooms could use a little renovation but are nicely decorated and spacious. The staff is really helpful and reactive. When we realized our AC was leaking, a technician was sent ASAP and the problem was fixed right away. We had breakfast at the hotel as well as one dinner and were satisfied with the food.

Awesome location the court yard is the only place in town which i feel is open till mid night. The rooms are spacious as compared to other near by hotels. They just need renovation as compared to modern architecture

The hotel preserves a colonial architecture, despite not being too old. The rooms could be slightly renovated, but were comfortable. The staff was polite and supportive.

Even though I’m writing this review a bit late, I’m still very happy to share our wonderful experience. The staff at Village Hotel Albert Court were incredibly helpful and cooperative from the start. They provided us with early check-in, which was a big relief after our journey, and were kind enough to give us extra time during checkout as well. One of the highlights was the food—they offer good options for Indian guests, which made us feel right at home. It was great to find familiar flavors while traveling. Overall, the hospitality, comfort, and food made our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Singapore, especially fellow Indian travelers. This hotel is fine for the price. Spent one night here. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked very well. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The hotel is centrally located near Bugis (shopping) and Little India. I recommend it.

I had a lovely one night stay here. The front desk staff and the service was excellent - very helpful and friendly. However, the hotel seems a bit dated but they did some renovations recently. My bathroom looked like it could have came from the 60s (clean, but just looked dated), the hallways were kind of dark, and the carpet can probably use a replacing. But with that said, my room was still quite comfortable and clean.

Despite the fact that the Singaporean accent of the shuttle driver dropped consonants, making this place pronounced "albe'cor," like "albacore," there's nothing fishy about Albert Court. It smells and looks amazing. And the beds are inviting to those even when not suffering from jetlag. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Okay, I'm too tired to write anything coherent, so before I slip into wingdings instead of English, I'm going to stop this review.
