This place is really only meant for privileged people who don't care about money or those that don't know how to manage it. Prices are consistently 3-7x as expensive as they would be in other places like grocery outlet. The prepacked food is what it is. There's nothing special offered other than the potential convenience of walking a couple minutes less.

High prices are what you pay for the convenience, but SURPRISINGLY kind and helpful staff. The rest of the SJSU food providers other than the Dining Commons can learn from the Village Market, in that treating customers like sane-minded and decent human beings helps them want to come back to give more business. The management here was especially kind, but well done to all at the VM.

Hate to say this t but this place suuuux. Like everybody that works there is cool and fun f ya u are just going to get sick netting to drink or prepackaged cool, but don’t, repeat DONT, prefer anything they make there..don’t discusting.

Theres usually some good food here but a lot of items don't have any prices on them. You just kinda grab stuff and maybe itsi affordable when you get to the register or maybe not.
