Great collection of grocery items and liquors in this small cute town. Very close to the Horse Creek Campground. You can find all the necessary grocery items also fresh produce that you need for cooking and a variety of liquors. Prices were comparable. You an also find ice and firewoods for camping.

Omfgggggggg you have to stop in this gem of a place and buy yourself the fresh-squeezed orange juice. They have a machine right at the front when you walk in that squeezes the oranges by the size of your choice. When I was checking out, the cashier told me it would be the best orange juice I’ve ever tasted, and that I’d leave wondering why other orange juice doesn’t taste the same and start questioning what they’re even putting in the store-bought stuff. Honestly, I thought she was exaggerating. She was one thousand percent correct. This was the most delicious orange juice I have ever had the privilege of tasting. It was so good that we came back the next day and bought even bigger jars of it. I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working in that area with those oranges, but the juice is sourced from local farmers and it’s absolutely unreal. And while the orange juice is the star, I bet they have so much more to offer. There’s a whole wall dedicated just to liquor and a separate section filled with every kind of drink and beverage you can imagine. Whatever you're looking for when it comes to eating and drinking, they probably have it here. This little corner store also has the sweetest people working there. Everyone is helpful, kind, and you can tell this is a small community where everyone knows each other. My friends and I are seriously considering going back just for the orange juice. Ten out of ten. No notes.

Really well stocked. Reasonable prices. Great staff. I felt very welcome and got exactly what we needed — plus plenty of extra information about the area, which wouldn’t have known otherwise.

Great place to stop for libations and snacks when you come off the mountain. Nice beer selection and very friendly employees.

Google
Great, well-stocked store with friendly staff. Lots of interesting items and the BBQ meat is amazing. Love the Village Market!

Google
So check the prices as you shop take a photo when you go pay the prices are rang up for a higher price than marked on shelves we paid $12+ more than we should have we always shop here when we go camping never had this issue guess we won't shop here no more

Located I'm Three Rivers city, I didn't expect much from this market when I arrived. Surprisingly though, it's a good market. They have a good variety of beers, craft and the standard beers. There was good selection of fresh produce; looked like there was a deli in the back, and a variety of ice creams and pastries. Also very important for the Outdoors people here, they carry wood bundles @$9.99.  These are good-sized bundles in my opinion. The Village Market is basically a convenient store grocery store all rolled into one with reasonable prices. Come check it out when you're in the area.

Google
Great selection of foods here whether you’re looking for a picnic, to stock up on staples, or grab some ribs, smoked pork loin, or tri-tip barbecued on site. Also some very interesting liquors like high end bourbons and tequilas.

Yelp
Fresh Orange Juice Machine is a must have while exploring Three Rivers don't miss out ! They also have a fresh water fill station for all your water jugs 1gal-5gal stay hydrated!. Great parking lot with lots of great business around like Casa Mendoza, Kaweah Coffee Roasters, and are local post office.

Yelp
Great selection of beer, wine and spirits but grossly overpriced. Selection of food is spotty but we got most of what we wanted, again at a high price. I get that they're the biggest market in town but really feel like they are gouging people.

Katie M.

Yelp
There are several places to buy groceries in this small town. I think this is one of the bigger options. There's a meat counter and a bakery counter. Small selection of vegetables and frozen food. Be warned, pricing is on the high side but it's better than driving more than 30 mins to Visalia.

Yelp
Perfect place for meat, alcohol, or any other small goods! This place, as others have indicated is one of the better markets in the sequoia park area. I came here to pick up some meat to bbq in my Airbnb and it was perfect! They have raw meat but also already cooked meats as well. I got the ribeye at $16/pound and it was a really good quality. They also have chicken, pastrami, New York cuts, and many more. They also carry small general necessities, milk, chips, soda, water, fruits, canned goods, bbq sauce, etc. The alcohol selection absolutely blew me away! Beers or all kinds, wine of all kinds, and so many choices of hard liquor. All moderately priced as well. There was some really high shelf items too, a 2010 Dom Perignon, 18 year Mccallen, I was impressed. There was also a small section for baked good. I didn't get anything but it was really popular. Almost everybody was walking out with a whole pie or cupcakes. The only downside to this market is the price of the produce. But it's understandable as the products spoil and don't last as long. I still did get some portabella mushrooms to grill and some broccoli. Check this place out if you're staying in the area for sequoia. Perfect for camping needs, quick dinner, or even alcohol binges!

Yelp
Good selection Pretty big, have a lot of things. Bought 13 bars (Kind and protein) Also some tortilla, two blocks of cheese (tillamook) Some jerky, and some turkey (not from deli part of store) Spent over 70$. Convenience, but still expensive

Yelp
Prices were pretty reasonable and they had a pretty good inventory. They were out of stock on cold medicine, but had plenty of "Bonnie" for motion sickness, which you might need if heading up to Sequoia. The roads are very winding. The staff could have been friendlier, which is the main reason I only gave 4 stars.

Laura P.

Yelp
Customer service the staff is friendly welcoming, courteous, nice , and wonderful !! They have great variety of things for everyone's needs and wants ! Tried their breakfast burrito again after a long time it's excellent and awesome also they also have always perfect , enjoyable, velvety especially the cupcakes and other variety of baked goodies worth the stop in three rivers ca

Yelp
Great selection of fresh food at a small town market. The staff was very friendly. The young guy behind the meat counter gave us a tip about a beautiful hike up Skyline due to the Sequoia Park being closed. Thank you

Ruby N.

Yelp
Great little market. Has a supple of anything you would want especially alcohol. Never seen such an array of alcohol. Now for management they need to keep their arguments behind closed doors. They get really loud on the phones. Need better management! Employees:. The lady at the cash register in the mornings is unfriendly, lazy. Management needs to give her more work. Doesn't seem to do anything but check you out. Everything lands on the skinny blonde girl that works her butt off. She needs HELP, they have her doing everything. Management doesn't even help her. They seem to expect her to run the whole store which she does at times. Hope she is paid well. Apparently she is the only one there most of the time during the day. She treats customers like they are family. Barbecue is great. Good job. Sure miss the home made cookies they use to have.

Yelp
Little market with a variety of things. They offer hot foods and that's why we came here. We picked up a whole tri tip for dinner with the family during our stay at the comfort Inn. We asked if they could slice it for us since we are staying at the hotel. The gentleman at the counter sliced it nicely. We also picked up one of the salad kits and desert. We had a nice meal for a family of 4 for less that we would have spent at any restaurant. The tri tip was perfectly cooked. It was flavorful and tender. For desert, we got the tiramisu and the tiger cake. They were both really good!

Yelp
No one in this place wears a mask. Not clients not workers. Disgusting Neither the clients or the workers are required to wear masks. They don't abide or ask their clients too. Seen this 3 days in a row and have had enough.
google avatar

Yelp
As me and my friends swing by the Village market to get some liquor and groceries. First thing first, their price point is really not cheap which is also understandable: 1. supply/demand. 2. as I am sure since they are in the almost middle of no where. The four stars is pretty much for the super helpful and friendly staff Parking : right in front of the store Selections: surprisingly wide selection
google avatar

Eugenio S.

Yelp
Tons of costumers without mask and no one seems to care nor there was any attempt of trying to enforce the mask mandate! This is an absolutely unacceptable behavior and I can't believe there're 2 more reviews down here complaining about the same issue..
google avatar

Conrad H.

Yelp
This grocery store is well-stocked with camping food and has an incredibly large amount of beer and liquor options. Good souvenir choices too. And I LOVE their bakery. Once you've looked through the glass display, get in line for checkout and let your helper know what you'd like. The service here is great!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice market but when the man at the meat counter didn't even pretend to own a mask along with another employee he was chatting with 2' from her face, I turned around and walked out. I don't care if you are in a rural town, the law says you have to wear a mask and your business, above all, should be compliant. YOU are part of the problem in this pandemic. #ShutThemDown

Yelp
We went in to get something to eat in our Hotel room. We bought the Homemade Potato salad and it was hands down one of the best Potato salads I've had. Just wanted to let who ever makes it know and for others not to hesitate to try it.

Yelp
Pretty rude staff. Overpriced, very disorganized. Not very clean and terrible selection of actual food items. I get it. You're here to rip off tourists but there are people who actually live and work up here

Yelp
Great selection of items, I was pleasantly surprised as we arrived on Christmas Eve and I honestly didn't expect much to be open or available! :) prices were pretty steep on most things, but hey...we pay for convenience, right ‍ the COOLEST thing about this place that I really loved was the fresh press OJ machine! I had fresh OJ every morning that we were in town and even got a larger one to take on the road with me! The employees were sweet as well, considering they were crazy busy and working over the holidays while we all vacationed! :)

Yelp
My review is mostly for the cashier and her service. She was not properly trained on currency. She declined to take my $100 bill because it didn't have a stripe? However the bill is older and it won't have a stripe sweetie. She did check the bill put it over her face and under the light but her ignorance and not being informed that old bills do not come with a stripe didn't allow her to take the money so she tried to send me across the street to the bank and change it for $20. Ok lady. My friend ended up paying because she has $20s. Btw her racist is showing every time she was looking at me up and down like she never seen a fine ass women walk in her presence.

Yelp
Expensive. Almost $5 for Ritz crackers? Oh well, they have a captive market. Good selection of chips and soda, and also some other essentials. I ended up only buying water due to whatever the tap water problem is in Three Rivers (I still don't understand). This market seems like it's there for convenience -- visitors use it because it's right where they are and locals might use it if they don't want to trek into town for something. Also open fairly late, which is nice. And by late, I mean I was there at 8pm on Saturday... 2017: 72/100

Yelp
I have been shopping at this store from time to time after I became a resident of three Rivers. I live and work in the Sequoia National Park so it's convenient. The employees here are all very helpful and nice. There are 2 in particular that stand out. For the life of me I can't remember her name. She has long brown straight hair. The other is Amber. She is very friendly and helpful. I will be moving to Colorado in the near future and will truly miss the town and these 2 wonderful employees. Jeff

Yelp
Purchase (2) babyback ribs (1/2) rack spareribs later it was obvious they had cut off the (4) biggest ribs with meat on them. I asked for a tri tip medium rare and later when opening the foil bags found it to be past well done almost like jerky. The ribs were from the previous day but I have always enjoyed their ribs and tri tip. I called to discuss the problem but was treated in a non professional manor. I keep the ribs and tri tip to show them but they didn't care or or even comprise. I thought of giving the ribs and tri tip to the homeless but I thought it would not be a good ideal. the Three Rivers Village Market use to be a great place to buy Bbq. I was informed they have new owners. Buyer beware.....

Yelp
This was a convenience type store across the street from our hotel. The staff were all very friendly and the place has a good variety of goods. We visited on Sunday so we had a chance of tasting the BBQ there too. I will definitely go back and shop there.
google avatar

Nikki S.

Yelp
Employees do not wear masks-I was hoping this would change with new ownership. Rude butcher and rude cashier. Overpriced! Too bad for locals as it's the only grocery store in town.
google avatar

Donna N.

Yelp
We had stopped in the Village Market for supplies since we were staying in a lodge up the hill. They have everything you could possibly need. Considering how remote the location is, this is incredible! I'm not sure why there are a lot of negative reviews over COVID compliance. Whenever we went in everyone was masked up. People were practicing social distance. They have fruit and vegetables, ready made sandwiches and a nice liquor section. There was a good selection of food. We ended up coming in every day we were in town.
google avatar

Zandra M.

Yelp
Used to love The Village Market; however, with the new ownership we are seeing less and less of the locals goods we used to come for. Very sad, bring back the local items please!
google avatar

Kim C.

Yelp
Amazing selection of gluten free foods. Some items I've never seen before even at Whole Foods. And to my delight they had gluten free homemade baked goods. Great place to stop for a snack after a hike or bike ride.
google avatar

Vicki C.

Yelp
Pandemic specific review: it was my first time in the area & to Village Market. The selection, pricing & service was all good. However, staff was not wearing masks even though it's currently required throughout the state of California -- plus most patrons were also not wearing masks and there didn't seem to be any expectation that they do. Fortunately, it wasn't very crowded during my two trips there so I was able to maintain distance.
google avatar

Rafael T.

Yelp
Everything in that store is literally triple the price, but I understand why because it is a very small and beautiful town. However the Olivia skinny looking as bitch cashier seriously has a raise issue not to mention her attitude. The rest of the people working there were cool and polite.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
For a small town, this market has lots of stuff, including tasty barbecue made on premesis! I had the smoked beef ribs and they were excellent. It didn't have quite everything a big-city supermarket would have, but it was much better than excepted. Also, it was pleasantly cool, clean and the people were helpful. I was looking to buy just 6 eggs. There were no such cartons, so the butcher just cut a dozen-pack in half. Prices were as good, if not cheaper, than what you would see at your local supermarket
google avatar

Holly B.

Yelp
Well, I had trepidation about coming here, because of the reviews about employees not following COVID safety, like not wearing masks, but really the only store in town, and needed to buy something for dinner at our rental. But being vaccinated I made the trip. There is a sign on the door saying masks are required, I did NOt notice sanitizing wipes near the carts that are standard at all grocery stores I go to, but the employees were all wearing masks, including man behind the deli/meat counter, and he was wearing gloves. The only people I saw without masks were a handful customers that nobody said anything to, (most customers were ). I got some nice looking pork chops and then was out of there,
google avatar

Yelp
Reasonable prices and they have a pit master come in to do bbq from Thursday to Sunday!
google avatar

Dave M.

Yelp
great little market with everything that you need if staying in the area. they have a good selection of alcohol, snack food, fruits and vegetables and even a meat counter. they do have some tourist items and also some unique food items like BBQ seasoning etc. the prices are high if you planned on doing your shopping there weekly but it does have everything that you need. we make an annual trip and stay in the area the service is always great and they have almost everything we need.
google avatar

Perri M.

Yelp
Awesome little local market! Everyone is so friendly, and they just added a bakery counter (3 days ago) with fresh baked goods that are to DIE FOR! We met the baker herself, she told us about all the yummy things in her glass case. THe creme brûlée was amazing, and comes in a ceramic creme brûlée dish that you get to keep! The caramel sea salt chocolate brownies were SO decadent and delicious! Stop here to shop, and take some fantastic bakery goods to go, you won't be disappointed!!
google avatar

Shirley B.

Yelp
A great market with an excellent selection of pretty much everything. We camp every year and this is our must shopping stop before heading up the mountain. Everyone is chill here and in all of Three Rivers. Such a nice break from the paranoia that is the "new normal" in most major cities. Plenty of healthy food choices, clean fresh air and Anti Covid sunshine!
google avatar

Amber P.

Yelp
This place had everything. It was nice to just walk in and pick up wine and a cork screw. They had so many food items.
google avatar

Jessica V.

Yelp
It's a really cute little market! They have a lot of gluten free treats, snacks and such if you need that kind of thing. The BBQ is delicious! Some stuff here is a bit pricey and some (not all) of the staff aren't that friendly, but other than that it's a nice place with good souvenirs too.
google avatar

Arlene R.

Yelp
This market is probably the most complete market in the 15 mile radius. It has everything you'd usually find in a normal grocery store. From floaties, beer, wine, packaged food, fresh groceries, to freshly made bbq.
google avatar

SAMANTHA G.

Yelp
Horrible customer service!!!! Every time I have gone there the last few years I have not once had good customer service. I know the smart thing to do would not go back but when your camping and you forget something or run out of something you go to store closest to you at the time. There prices are double or triple on what I would pay at home. I realize they have to over price everything to keep that store open but offer better customer service, customers is what keeps your store around!! Also, I think some cashiers may be racist. I was in there a few weekends ago and the lady was nice to some lady with a small child. As soon as it was my turn to be rung up he seemed like it hurt her to say hello. She didn't say one word after that, didn't even asked if I wanted a bag or wanted to purchase a bag for my stuff she just greeted the next guy after me. Umm yeah thanks a lot I guess I'll just carry everything out with my hands! So rude there!!!
google avatar

Dolly B.

Yelp
Another local market with crazy high prices for the quality of food. A package of 6 chicken thighs was $10. If you think that's a good price I feel horrible for the area you live in! They do have a bigger selection of food that other markets in the area, but again, dust on the boxes, and the food tasted old when cooked. The desserts looked AMAZING, especially the chocolate cake. The banana cream pies were gross, brown bananas and some spots of pink... not sure what that was. Didn't taste like any kind of banana, more like some sugar free dessert. Cannolis were pretty good. The fresh squeezed orange juice smelled amazing, but at $14 for 32oz, we passed. Cashier was very friendly but NO ONE was wearing masks in there. Not one worker, not one local customer. Did worry me to eat their bakery items, so I was almost glad to throw out the majority of the pie purchased since it wasn't good. They had last minute needs like gloves and hats for the cold weather, so that was a plus.

Yelp
Great place. We grabbed lunch salads and cold drink and cherries before entering The Sequoia Park. Great food and service
google avatar

Monika T.

Yelp
I have to say my experience was good at this place. I was looking to buy some woman supply for time if the month, my hotel sold them for double the price, much less the supply... I drove over to village market, got my stuff, half the double price, triple the supply. Left happy with the male cashier showing me his magic trick of plastic bag in swiping my credit card, since my card did not swipe automatically. He also recommended some sightseeing places to check out, as we were on our way to sequoia Overall, good service, good recommendation, friendly staff. =)

Yelp
Has gluten free and vegan options! This is appreciated! Some brands I recall are Daiya (Pizzas, shredded cheese, cheesecakes), Udi's (gluten free pizza), So Delicious (ice cream), Morningstar veggie burgers/sausages, Beyond Meat burgers and sausages.

Steve D.

Yelp
No face masks. No social distancing. No disinfecting carts. The irony of this place is that there's a sign on the front door that says "Please wear your face mask" but NONE OF THE EMPLOYEES WEAR FACE MASKS. I'm sure this place is a perfectly nice local grocery market in normal times, but during Covid-times, it's truly awful. My wife and I were in town for Sequoia, and with limited other options, we had little choice but to stock up at this place. We made four quick trips there over four days, and each time, NO EMPLOYEES WERE WEARING MASKS (with the exception of one woman on one day - wish I had her name to give her a positive shout out). But the rest of them wore their masks around their necks but never pulled them up over their mouths/noses, not even when customers (wearing masks) were checking out their groceries right in front of them. Additionally, there was no taped off social distancing for waiting in line, and shopping carts and door handles were not being disinfected. Keep in mind that this is a SMALL grocery store, with poor ventilation, so wearing face masks and social distancing in a place like this is even more critical than most establishments. I hate writing negative reviews so rather than write this, I initially called the manager to alert her to the problem and politely asked that she encourage her staff to wear face masks. She responded very rudely and flat our refused to believe that her employees weren't wearing face masks. She also refused to actually follow up and check on it. Her attitude sums up Covid in a nutshell - If you don't believe it's real, you don't have to do anything about it. And because of her attitude, I'm publishing this review here for others to read. We're all living through trying times right now, and I truly believe that we're all in this together. But Dixon's Village Market clearly doesn't take Covid seriously, nor do they care about the health or well being of their customers. Pun intended - "Avoid this place like the plague." On the other hand, you won't find a lot of options in Three Rivers, so if you have to go to this market, I encourage you to just be careful. Because the manager and staff are not being careful. I genuinely hope they get their act together and start taking this seriously. Case counts are rising in California, and we need to be looking out for each other.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
We come out here to camp each summer and with 2 kids, well I'm bound to forget something. This place has pretty much everything. Is the price steep? Sure. But it beats driving down the mountain and going into town so someone has to pay for that effort, right? People are super friendly and helpful. It makes our little camping spot more convenient to when camping with kids.
google avatar

Rosario O.

Yelp
Came late looking to wind down from our adventure at Sequoia National Park. They have literally what your looking for. I was pleased with their wide selection of a little of everything from fruit to frozen. They even had cooked ribs and chicken, which were very tastey.
google avatar

Nancy P.

Yelp
We were able to find everything we needed here for our weekend stay in Three Rivers(frozen pizza, bread, fresh produce, pancake ingredients). I even found some signal here to send text messages lol ! Prices are what you would expect and very similar to prices back home. They also have cute souvenirs and large alcohol/beer selection. I got a very cool bottle of "General Sherman IPA." Only removed one star because they do not have a public restroom. Most markets have a restroom.

Angela M.

Yelp
Kind of expensive but great variety and quality. During my trip I pretty much exclusively went here for dinner, breakfast and beer.
