Google
This store offers a wide range of items, from gifts to groceries, making it a convenient stop for various needs. While the souvenirs are a bit pricey, the groceries are reasonably priced. However, the long checkout lines were a drawback, and the 30-minute parking limit felt restrictive.

Google
Eco-conscious and vegan-friendly! Lots of good stuff is here, whatever you might need for camping etc, including wood, ice, pet food and even souvenirs :D Coffee only refrigerated Starbucks when I was there. Dairy-free, gluten-free, plant-based options.

Kevin Lester Fallarcuna

Google
From souvenir to food to wine, just as you expect to see in the store. The selection is quite a bit and it very busy inside. I found some interesting stuff inside, the lineup for cash out is long as they have limited numbers of cash registers.

Michael W.

Google
The nice thing about the Village Store in Yosemite is they have most of the things here that you need if you forget to bring them with you. They have a supermarket, souvenirs, sweaters, jackets, and more. But the prices are on the high side! The parking lots can be jam-packed on the weekends. Sometimes, it takes me more than 15 minutes to get parking. The employees are pretty nice!

Juma Nyumba

Google
They had almost everything you might need while in Yosemite. I was surprised at the amount of food. Parking is terrible starting mid day on weekends btw. There is also a store at housekeeping lodge open 8-8. Expect prices higher U can also buy already cooked food at restaurants nearby.

Felipe

Google
This is a great location to load up on all of your necessities. And yes they have just about everything you can think of. Whatever prices you are used with your beverages double it by 2 due to price increases! Enjoy

Google
A wonderful full service grocery store plus gift shop that can meet your every needs when you come to visit the Yosemite National Park! They have fresh fruits and vegetables, meat section, beer and wine, all sorts of bread and seasonings and ingredients for you to cook no matter if you are camping or just need something to snack or eat! Those ready made sandwiches looks very tasty too! The price are little bit higher than the grocery store at the foothills but I think it’s fair! We always enjoy a trip to this store even time we visit Yosemite!

Google
The Village Store is a great way to stock up on souvenirs and groceries, but it's also a very out of place feature of the park. The interior is half like a bustling supermarket and liquor store, and the other half tourist hot spot. You bet prices are inflated here. My understanding is that the park service doesn't actually operate this store so be aware that you aren't helping the park by buying from here. Get your souvenirs at the official visitor's centers if you'd like to do that.

Yelp
Our last minute camping trip was as poorly planned as it gets. You could say we forgot to pack most of the essentials... didn't bring firewood, cooking utensils, or even a proper flashlight. So as soon as the tents were set up (brought those at least!), we headed to the Village Store to grab everything else we were missing. It's located near the Yosemite Village Welcome Center. The road is a one way counter-clockwise loop. Don't miss your turn or you'll have to go around again! If you're heading east on Southside Drive, turn left on Northside Drive and then turn right again to take the first exit on the roundabout. Plenty of parking, but limited spots nearby when it gets busy. The lot closest to the store has a 30 minute time limit, which wasn't really enforced. They basically have everything you'll find in an average grocery store. Condiments, spices, fresh meat, limited produce, snacks, instant food, canned goods, frozen food, beverages and more. Prices are (understandably) high, but if you didn't bring anything to eat there aren't many alternative stores nearby. You can also buy souvenirs like apparel, drinkware, plush toys, keychains, and other knick-knacks. The T-shirt designs are not tacky and the material feels good overall. There are a few strategically placed cookies by the checkout area that I ended up buying on a whim. How can you say no to a Ginger Bear cookie! The flavor was robust, with aromatic hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, and molasses. Consistency was crisp. I also tried the Lavender Nibbles, which were fragrant. Very well stocked! Much better compared to the Curry Village store.

Yelp
Really enjoyed stretching our legs and spending a few dollars to support the national park service

Maximiliano G.

Yelp
They have a lot of stuff!!! Basically everything (or almost everything) you'd expect to find in your local corner store can be found here (except they also have Yosemite themed items). They have an expansive refrigerated drink (including milk) and frozen food section, pre-packaged food, ramen, toiletries, snacks, and a whole lot of other stuff. If you forgot to bring something on your trip or you're looking to buy a souvenir this is definitely the place to come!

Julie E.

Yelp
To my knowledge, this is the only other place in the park where you can purchase groceries and souvenirs, the other being in Curry Village. Of course everything is overpriced, it's in a National Park but there are tons of items. You can get shirts, mugs, hats, magnets, bags, ornaments, pretty much anything you're looking for - they probably have. They also have a grocery part where they have meats and snacks and drinks (alcohol and regular) as well as prepackaged meals and snacks. Everyone I interacted with was super nice and friendly, the lines got long fast but moved quickly as they had 4 (at the time I went) cash registers open but I'm sure that's not always the case. They also have local honey, coffee, wine, ect which is always some of my favorite things to buy. Of course I always encourage people to bring in their own food/snacks because of pricing but if you forget or don't mind the prices, this is the place for you.

Joseph F.

Yelp
Decently priced, has cheap beef jerky that tastes great for hikes. Good to stock up on supplies.

Sheryl D.

Yelp
Phil is walking to Molly's 279 less than three bucks. They're called walking to Molly's because you can put them in your pocket and then carry them around and microwave them later.

Mariah S.

Yelp
So many things that you didn't know you needed!! :) great store, great gifts, staff is kind and helpful

Yelp
This store does have a lot of just stuff. Slightly over priced but totally understandable since it's up in Yosemite. I stopped by only to get my 1 wish granted... a nice big sized mug. Picked out my mug (they just have the normal mug size) so I ended up settling for what it is... walked to the cashier and let me tell you~ I wanted to drop few things in my hand and just walk out. But I know he's the not store but he sure verbally shut me down real hard. (Hey Mr. Stapley, if you don't want to work... just don't and stay home because cashiers like you ruin other customers day) I'll pass and instead support small shops near Yosemite.

Richard T.

Yelp
First time we came here and it was a bit of trouble to find and park with the amount of people visiting but in no way is that their fault it was a Saturday and it was expected by us. We ate at the small grill that they had outside but the real surprise is that inside the village store it's huge. They have so much stuff. All from mugs and firewood and water proof boots to sodas and beer. Small snacks, chips and candy. Shirts hats and sun block. They have a lot. Nice friendly staff to help you find something. Only this is that they need some better water gutters instead of buckets lol we got wet in line while waiting for our food

Andrea T.

Yelp
Great selection of goods. Luckily we did encounter ONE nice cashier. Why is everyone so racist in this town? Beautiful place but everywhere we went all the white folk seem to have a problem with us brownies ... very sad to experience this my first time here. /: I wanna return but I felt so uncomfortable here :( sad sad

Arvey S.

Yelp
This is a neat store. It has a lot of basic things you need to get you through a touristy type of food ingredients and items. However, this store is souvenir city and it has Yosemite stuff all over the place. If you had unlimited budget, you can outfit your house, car, office, pets or your wardrobe with all-Yosemite all the time with things you can buy here. It's a fun place to take a break and just to browse.

Wendolyn M.

Yelp
It is amazing that they have this Grocery and Gift Shop in the reach of those that are caping or have rented a cabin with full kitchen!! They have a fresh produce section, frozen food section and meat section. Just as you would see it at a normal grocery store! They are taking precautions which we appreciate it. Make a line everyone respects as much space in between family's and they have N employee at the entrance counting how many come out to let same amount go in. They have non touch hand sanitizer before you go in, in the store and when you leave as well. This is our third time in Yosemite and we were able to find it this time and very happy we did as we were looking for food that we can cook for breakfast. Thank you to all as this has made our experience much more safe and enjoyable.

Aleksandr F.

Yelp
I guess, variety is high. But you'll spend inappropriate amount of time in the line. Each person takes at least 5 minutes to be served. It's just doesn't make sense. I didn't come here to spend time in the lines because of lack of humanity in this national park. This National park has THE WORST infrastructure across multiple national parks where serve been.

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Great selection! Groceries and souvenirs, 10/10 location. Cool music and pretty decor!

Vickie B.

Yelp
Gotta give it 5 stars. Yes, some items were pricey, gougy, but if you are flexible there is much that is reasonably priced. Frankly, this was like a supermarket and gift shop. I was wandering down the candy aisle and they had all the ingredients for a few s'mores in a carryout container. BBQ pork ends, for under $5 for enough for a person. Sandwiches...not the fancy deli kind, but sandwiches for under $5. If you open your eyes, there are plenty of things to find that are reasonable priced. If you want the $22 a pound steak, it's there. We hit the jackpot with Yosemite heavy sweatshirts, half price for just under $20. Surprisingly filled with all kinds of neat stuff no matter what size your wallet is.

Benny H.

Yelp
Pretty much have everything you need to survive in Yosemite and at fair prices. I can't believe they don't scam you! Staff is friendly and the store is extra large. I'm actually surprised as to how large it is. Everyone here is very helpful too. Get everything you need here. You won't feel robbed.

Michael W.

Yelp
This is a mixture of supermarkets, souvenirs, and daily necessities items all in one store. It will not be my favorite stores if they're located in the big cities! But not bad because they're inside the Yosemite National Park. The layout of the store is poor. But they have most of the items that you may need. The store is very busy most of the time. But they seem to keep refilling the empty spots all the time. The price is pretty reasonable if you're conceding their location. The parking lot is very busy as almost all the parking lots in Yosemite National Park. Come here with your bikes may not be a bad idea unless you're there early in the morning or late afternoon. I know I'll be buying in the store again because they're pretty much the only choice in Yosemite National Park.

Franklin M.

Yelp
This is the go-to place for almost everything you need for camp survival. The one thing they lacked that we really wanted was iced coffee in a bottle but we didn't want the overly sweetened Starbucks brand they had in stock. So many things to buy and the prices are reasonable too. On various occasions this big store was packed full of campers.

Carl S.

Yelp
Great place for outdoor gear and clothing. The staff were very helpful and nice. It mainly caters to hiking and climbing. Would like to see some fly fishing items offered for those who have this interest. Other than that suggestion it was a really good store and they had decent pricing.

Peter H.

Yelp
For a national park store, I was SHOCKED at the LOW LOW prices. The food was basically Walmart prices, it was extremely reasonable! There was TONS of selections of gift items and fresh produce, meat, and other items. NOTE- they do have hot food on sale and the price for the hot food meals are ACTUALLY LOWER than the restaurant around the park. You can get a WHOLE Rotisserie chicken for $7!!! I would recommend get hot meals and eating from the village store instead of paying $9 for a small burger at the restaurants next door.

Sophia C.

Yelp
Convenient store to gather basic necessities, or some souvenirs. We bought some cold sandwiches (not good) and snacks to eat after a hike. Covid Precautions are followed here with amount of people allowed in the store limited, masks required, and sanitizer provided. Individuals around the entire park are very respectful of social distancing and mask wearing as well. Pricing is $$-$$$ which is not too bad. Customer service is just "okay." No one walking around asking if you need assistance and there were a few cashiers only, understaffed in my opinion but that could be due to the pandemic. Quality of items in the store is fair in my opinion and their are plenty of unique souvenirs at different price points to choose from.

Linda S.

Yelp
LOVE. There's everything you can think of from a normal gift shop and then there's more! Did someone say milk? Did someone say steak? Did someone say carrots? What about some honey? And a sweater and magnet? Maybe a backpack and mug? You got it! And it's open till pretty late so you can do it all and come get some grub.

Brigitte O.

Yelp
Excellent selection of foods and goods. We did not expect to find fresh produce in the valley based on previous trips and were pleasantly surprised. The San Louis Sourdough bread is amazing. We paired it with Tilamook cheese also from this store for a nice picnic lunch with unsulphured dried fruit. We would have bought fresh blackberries or blueberries except we noticed mold in several cartons which discouraged us from buying any. Perhaps the store needs to check these more often and pull the packages that have gone bad before they spread to other packages. We opted for blackberry jam instead. We brought our own bread, jam, and peanut butter from home but could have easily bought these here as the quality of wholesome groceries has vastly improved! We felt like we were at a grocery store back home! We were impressed by the number of foods for people with dietary restrictions. The lines were long and one cashier spent too much time chit chatting his customer while the other cashier rang up four transactions -- she was much more efficient than he. People in line were antsy at the wait since the side of the store we were on only had two cashiers. He was nice but needed to be reminded to move the line along and save longer conversations for when there's no line. Overall we were happy with our visits here so well done and thank you!

Terri M.

Yelp
Well... there's literally no other store within a couple hours since it is in the valley of Yosemite. So they have no competition. They do have a bunch of random things like food, trinkets, toys, drinks, kids stuff etc. Make sure you have your money..... pricey. Almost $8 for a chocolate bar.

Gayle T.

Yelp
They have so many great items to choose from it took me a while to figure out what souvenirs to purchase for family/friends. Super cute baby clothes! But fair warning, they are very expensive. Choose wisely, lol. The Yosemite scarf was absolutely gorgeous and I meant to go back to purchase it but got distracted. I'm so I guess I'll have to plan another weekend to go back .

Patty G.

Yelp
You can find it all here! Souvenirs, food, snacks. But had to leave one star due to the customer service. No one helps you and the cashier was very rude, he prefers to have a conversation with two other female employees behind him then to greet us.

Shirley M. F.

Yelp
Yosemite Village is a respite away from rough, freezing weather=34-degrees Fahrenheit at 8:00 AM in the morning--BRRRR~then, the radical weather shift from Wawona to a super-shockingly warm 85-degrees Fahrenheit at Yosemite Village (WOT!!!!!) at 10:00 AM, no-shower camping at Wawona Campground; there's no cellphone service or Internet access ANYWHERE around Wawona CA or anywhere inside Yosemite National Park if your carrier is AT&T so, I couldn't check in via YELP for the entire month camping! So, what did I do? The LAST DAY residing at Wawona CA, I drove to Yosemite Village which is approximately twenty-three miles from Wawona CA so, I may check-in via YELP; how ridiculous is THAT (Yosemite Village IS the only place I found where I may use my cellphone and use the Internet, sad, huh)? Still, visiting Yosemite Village after camping at Wawona Campground throws me back, reminding me what "civilization" is: The hustle and bustle driving up and down row after row in the parking lot trying to find a parking space, people hurriedly shuffling entering and exiting the Yosemite Village's entrances, people hustling trying to find the bathroom located outside at the rear of store via the Grill which the Grill didn't have a healthy, menu selection, people buying 'double-the-normal-price', uber-expensive, tourist memorabilia, people signing up for tours outside the main entrance on the left side, people recycling whatever they brought with them into the National Park which is truly noteworthy, bears signs EVERYWHERE, bears raiding photo postings reminding people fervently using the FREE, provided bear boxes throughout Yosemite National Park, what else is there worth mentioning? Oh, yeah! The National Park re-routed ALL the roads--blocking, denying access to the majority of the Park so, cars can't go here or cars can't go there, some parts of the Yosemite Valley had controlled burning with signs postings, "Don't Report Fire . . .", Bridal Falls was a mere trickle due to the drought, the Merced River was only a few inches deep via the campgrounds, bears are raiding the campgrounds for food AND H2O (!!!!). So, YELP, since I couldn't use my cellphone checking in, I sadly must group ALL of Yosemite Valley with Yosemite Village: Please don't take my photos down or my review, PLEASE?????!!!!!

Lacey T.

Yelp
This is like a combination mini supermarket/gift shop, and easily your best and most economical option for food when visiting Yosemite. I was unimpressed by restaurant choices, as most items were pre-made or very basic (sandwiches, pizza), and overpriced. The Village Store has roughly the same options for about half the price, along with many groceries, including a surprisingly large produce selection, frozen meals, basic ingredients, snacks, treats, and even alcohol. They also have a variety of souvenirs and anything you would seek at a normal gift shop. It was very clean and newly re-done. Crowded shortly after lunch, but I don't imagine that ever really wanes. You're in Yosemite after all, what can you expect?

Reina W.

Yelp
best store in the area if you're not from Yosemite! Has everything you need ! even coolant for your car if it runs out coming up the mountain lol. They have all the snacks and a mini grocery store market section that has everything you could need to feel at home snack and food wise while staying at Yosemite. They also carry a pretty good variety of souvenirs and Yosemite memorabilia perfect to take home from your visit. Overall a really cute and convenient store for your stay in Yosemite. I would definitely go back to get more cute souvenirs and try these Yosemite lavender cookies I'm sad I didn't get !

Alison M.

Yelp
This store is pretty neat! A grocery store and Yosemite gift shop all in one. They have everything you could ever need during your stay here - items for grilling (including the charcoal and lighter fluid), veggies, frozen items, dry goods, and clothes and coffee mugs, honey and chocolate and fruits and cereal. It's large inside with two separate check-out line areas on both ends of the store. They have fresh ice cream and chocolates and keepsakes such as keychains and little Yosemite-themed items inside. My dad and I found a few things we needed and many more that we didn't - but we had a good time.

Yelp
I was honestly shocked to see this massive grocery store in the middle of Yosemite Village. I have been to Yosemite many times in the last 30 years, and I don't remember the store being here when I first started going to Yosemite. Since people don't plan very well, you have to have a place like this. It's got so much stuff I can't even begin to describe: if you want clothing it's not going to be cheap and it's going to say Yosemite on it. If you want food, they've got you covered. I noticed that certain kinds I was honestly shocked to see this massive grocery store in the middle of Yosemite Village. I noticed that certain kinds of food where in multiple locations throughout the store. I don't know if that was to help people who get confused when they are shopping or they were just filling in gaps on the shelves at the end of the season. I was really surprised at the amount of dairy and breakfast cereal! Plenty of packaged food options for vegans, and a surprisingly good selection of fresh and frozen items as well. No shortage of candy or soft drinks or alcohol. Plenty of parking!

Yelp
So Yosemite is pretty much my happy place and I went into the Village Store looking for my next Yosemite t-shirt. It's a tradition for me. I asked one of the guys to see if there were more sizes in the back and he told me "no." Here's the tricky part- I DIDN'T BELIEVE HIM. In creating my own 5 star experience, I asked another staff member on the floor for assistance, after I just watched and listened to her and another visitor/customer. She said, "I'll be right back. Let me look." When she returned, it was with shirt in hand in my size!!! We experienced interactions with about 6-8 staff members, from the store to the buses to the ranger. 4 or 5 gave beyond 5 star service and the other 2-3 should really decide if customer service is where they want to be. The arena is Yosemite where thousands of people come to experience the AWE and MAJESTIC VIEWS per day- customer service is still important.

Grace G.

Yelp
We are staying at Rush Creek and the restaurant there is a complete rip off. Super overpriced and the quality is terrible. So we decided to get dinner at the store. Lol Anything you can possibly need is at this store. Anything from clothing, souvenirs, groceries, liquor....whatever, they got it. The pricing is a little high, but you are paying for convenience. Not to mention, the service here was also very nice and helpful. We bought enough food and alcohol here and spent LESS money for two days worth of food than one meal at the resort. Seriously. The produce at the store is also fresh, all the beverages are fresh. Definitely come here if you are in need of anything.

Shauna B.

Yelp
Only giving this store 1 star for the amazingly rude cashiers (one young girl and one young guy). My husband had brain surgery and is unable to wear a mask. Upon checking out the guy said "sir, if your not wearing a mask you'll have to stand back (we're already more than 6 ft away and there's a huge plexiglass)" and then the girl says "if he's not wearing a mask, I'm not waiting on him". First of all, my husband heard none of this. Second, the way the girl said this was very rude and unprofessional. She acted as though my husband was arguing with her about wearing a mask. My parents were there and heard none of this, until after we left and the cashiers were saying "what does brain surgery have to do with wearing a mask?". NOT THAT ITS ANY OF THEIR BUSINESS, but when you have the side of your face and ear cut open, it's quite painful and his surgeon said he doesn't have to wear one. Again, your a cashier, it's LEGALLY none of your business why anyone doesn't wear a mask. There are many medical exemptions. If this establishment has such rude cashiers refusing to check someone out because they don't have a mask on, there should be mask checkers at the door. Places like Costco and others have mask checkers at the door and if they were to refuse to let my husband come in-that Is their choice as an establishment and it's our choice if we wanted to continue to shop there. He has never been treated so rudely since all of this nonsense. My husband has had many encounters with people NICELY asking him about a mask, but this was by far the rudest encounter we have ever had. We've never had this kind of encounter. To the girl refusing to wait on someone without a mask: you probably should work from home if your that scared of contracting a virus with a 99% survival rate from someone without a mask. Your not 70 and also there's the huge plexiglass in front of you. Again, if you have cashiers refusing to wait on people, have a mask checker at the front and don't let anyone without a mask in. He could have waited outside and we could have chosen from the beginning if we wanted to shop there. There would have been no issue. It's all about how to TREAT people.

Vira C.

Yelp
Love it. From shirts and whatever you need to remember the trip to "fresh breakfast" sandwichs to beer to bug spray or FRESH PRODUCE this is the stop. I love curry village but this this is the one of course jeep in mind it is a store inside yose valley so it it extremely pricey but the experience when cashing out all than makes up for it. Even if you're traveling alone they make you feel like you're family

Janet I.

Yelp
This is a great combined gift store and grocery store. There is a great selection of t-shirts, stuffed animals, lots of assorted souvenirs to take home. The grocery store has a good selection of stuff for campers. The prices were not outrageous either.

Irina N.

Yelp
So much to explore... great place for unique gifts. Tons of metaphysical books. Walked out with a dream journal, meditation challenge book, Chopra's book and tea leaf reading cards, for fun. Enjoyed browsing through all the offerings.

Doris W.

Yelp
Was camping at Camp 4 and needed to pick up firewood. We didn't bring any with us, but from reading the Yosemite webpage, it seems they prefer we buy inside the park instead of bringing outside wood in. I don't think they really care too much though. Our friends had only brought one pile with them, so off to the store for wood we went. I would think things would be ridiculously priced here, I was surprised it wasn't too bad! We paid $8.50 for a box/bundle of wood (our friends paid the same price for wood that they brought into Yosemite). Grocery wise it was decently priced as well. Was able to buy a stick of butter because we forgot for 99 cents. Tons of souvenirs here! Only downside is that it's super crowded and long lines.

Geffrey B.

Yelp
The travel mugs they sell are of very poor quality. After a couple months, the slide top will not stay open when I drink, it slides closed when lifted up. Also, moisture has gotten inside the exterior where the logo and picture are, having permanent steamy, mildew. When I called the store, they said "too bad, we don't honor what we sell unless it is only a couple weeks old. If you are disappointed, we suggest that you do not buy our products in the future". pretty messed up response. They don't care at all.

DeAna R.

Yelp
The store is very convenient and has really nice souvenirs. However, we had a few very rude employees. Very surprising since we are on vacation & it's such a relaxed and beautiful location.

K. R.

Yelp
Very cool place but watch out for the rude lady at the back redgister. She ruined my whole experience. I should have dropped my whole purchase and left without buying

Darren S.

Yelp
This rating is based on an interaction that I had with a cashier. My son had to go to the bathroom and we had trouble finding one. I had to interrupt one of the cashiers as my son had to go really bad. So I asked the closest cashier and he turned to yell at me, "Excuse me, I am talking with someone RIGHT NOW!" I wasn't expecting it, so I just walked away. I've never had an employee at a store yell at me. Definitely had some anger issues and know that man has no kids and no context. After we finally found the bathroom, walking back to the parking lot a woman asked if we had found the bathroom as she felt bad that we were treated that way. Sad to see as I know the man loved Yosemite and was gushing about the park, but to treat others that way was not cool.

Rocio K.

Yelp
This store carries anything you will need and more. The Yosemite Valley shuttle service has a stop right out front. They have everything a grocery store has and then a souvenir section too. They carry many vegetarian options in the freezer section. The lines can be long, but there are cash registers at both exits. We bought a beer and some canned water. They were having a deal where the canned water was buy 1 get 1 free. If you are staying in the valley or just visiting for the day, this is the perfect place to stop to grab something to eat. The prices were average for most products. They have outdoor seating and a restroom nearby with flush toilets and actual soap to wash your hands.

Snaky S.

Yelp
Dont go here unless you want to mess up your relaxed nature vibe. Unfriendly people. 2 bad experiences with 2 different people. Took away the relaxed feeling that a beautiful place like Yosemite can bring to you. Probably would never go back to this place. I would drive further just to avoid this place next time.

Kristian D.

Yelp
The Yosemite Village Store is the extremely popular general store located in the middle of the main visitor complex in Yosemite National Park. This store is a combination gift shop and supermarket serving both visitors and the workers living in the valley. It has a large parking lot which is often full and is on the shuttle system. The store knows their clientele. They stock an impressive amount of natural, organic, and gourmet items alongside conventional camping needs. You can find fresh meats, dairy, produce, and liquor here including special items for the campfire and hiking needs. This is not a great place to stock up on your trip, but it works great for forgotten items or something special. This is also a great place to buy souvenirs for your trip. I was able to snag some cool shirts and pins here, although some of the other locations in the valley have different items. Prices are high as you are paying for convenience, but they are not ridiculous. Unfortunately, the checkout lines are ridiculous with nearly the entire state of California waiting in line at some points. You will probably stop here at least once for hot food on a cold day or cold food on a hot day. It is also a great meeting place for groups and older children wanting room to roam. Make sure to bring your bags, backpacks, or other storage media to bring back your haul as free bags are no longer provided.

Yelp
There was nothing wrong with the store. This review is about a male manager who offended my family. A female member of my family asked directions to a restaurant one time, and when we couldn't find it we came back and asked him again. He said to a male member of my family: "I said it so many times, you can listen for her." He said it with a very condescending smile and it upset us so much that when we found the restaurant we didn't even want to eat there. My male family member came back and very calmly told the manager that he shouldn't speak to guests that way, to which he apologized and immediately followed with saying that he had said it 8 or 9 times. When I heard this, I came in and told him that he said it only once and that he shouldn't say that he said it 8 or 9 times. I told him I have worked in retail and you shouldn't speak in that way to guests. He then kept condescendingly apologizing and always saying that he repeated it so many times and that the restaurant was just around the corner. He was never truly sorry and he never listened to what any of us were saying. He put a hand on my shoulder and said that I kept repeating myself just like he repeated himself to my female family member. She came to defend herself too, without raising her voice, and he said that she was attacking him. None of us raised our voice at him, we only wanted to make the point that he shouldn't speak to guests like that, or make a point to say how many times he repeated the directions every time he gave his fake apology. He continuously lied about it because there was nothing he could say and he wanted to look smarter and better than my female family member. He felt attacked by a small woman who just wanted to defend herself. I guess that shows how scared he really was.

Yelp
This is probably the best store in Yosemite National Park. You can find it all here: hiking/camping supplies, food/ hot meals, souvenirs, clothing, toiletries/first aid. The prices are a little high on souvenirs but thats to be expected. I didnt notice much of a difference on groceries and that kind of stuff. As a matter of fact on our last trip there we got some warm BBQ tri tips for about 4 dollars. Really good and filling. They do have a whole discounted section on one corner which is pretty neat. The quality isnt with the discounted items but it makes a cheap gift to people you didnt really want to spend much money on...... Staff is friendly and even tho the lines get long they get them moving quick. They have check out lanes on both sides of the store so make sure to check both sides for shorter lines. Everything is well stocked and organized. Very clean store. If you are here for hiking sticks they dont have a good selection ao you might want to check out the gift shop at Curry Village.

Yelp
Waited about 10 minutes to go inside due to limited capacity during Covid-19. The prices you see are much higher, but it's a National Park! Definitely recommend bringing food/drinks/snacks into the park, if you can. They have almost everything you would need. From Yosemite Sweatshirts to Ice Cream Bars to Salas Dressing. They also have hot foods. Lots of alcohol and drinks that you can choose from as well.
