Very beautiful and picture worthy spot though every once in a while mostly every couple weeks to a month me and my girlfriend would see this gigantic looking guy that comes to the fountain in this park to steal coins and goes about as far as climbing in and around it to get as much coins as he possibly can and surprisingly I haven't seen any cops come to confront the guy not that I want that to happen just something I've noticed and honestly he doesn't seem to bother anyone and seems to be nice to people that encounters him though other than that it's a pretty good spot to hang out and enjoy a nice ice cream or simply read a book if you can drown out the noise

This place is simply amazing full of beautiful scenery lots of shops and restaurants, cool parks to enjoy your day with a family or friends, grab a fishing rod and you can fish as well. If you would like to sit in the park on the grass they have social distancing circles spray painted on the grass.

A nice grassy area with statues and a fountain.
This park has no seating and there isn't much to see. It's nice though.

Great place to visit, but don’t stop on what you can see at a first glance, there are few great spots and views at Sausalito!!!

A cool park & monument just metres from the ferry exit celebrating the sister city of Chile.

Tiny city park next to the ferry with an elephant statue. It's very lovely but the fun doesn't last long.

It’s a nice little park outside the Sausalito waterfront and downtown. Has an attractive water fountain and elephant structures at the entrance giving a nice photo opportunity.

Yelp
Nice location!
I appreciate how close this park is to the parking lot and ferry; it made for an easy picnic location to meet up with friends.
Public bathrooms nearby were relatively well maintained.

Yelp
Plaza Vina Del Mar is a nice little park in the middle of Sausilito. It's a quaint and cute park "named after Viña del Mar, Chile, one of Sausalito's sister cities."
Sit down and relax to enjoy people watching, enjoying your ice cream from Lappert's, or your hamburger from across the way.

Yelp
Plaza Vina Del Mar is a small area to sit down and enjoy the surroundings. There is a fountain in the middle with sitting ledge around it. There are two elephant statues to admire. Grass is near by to sit down on to relax.

Yelp
This is the town square of sausalito and one of the prettier parks in town (albeit the smallest one, I think). The plaza has a lovely fountain, tall palm trees, some lemon trees, and a nicely manicured lawn. The real appeal of this park is people watching..... grab a hamburger from "hamburgers" across the street and watch the tourists stroll by as you soak up the sun.

Yelp
This is a great place to sit and sip on a cup if coffee and just watch the world go by. There's a beautiful fountain flanked by two stone elephants. The sounds of the fountain is relaxing and you get to watch all of the tourists traipse in and out of the shops.

Yelp
We will be meeting at the Plaza Vina Del Mar for our Sausalito Food Tour and the Sausalito Food and Wine Tour, it is the perfect historic location from which to launch our culinary experience of "Saucy-Lito." This location is central and easily accessible after arriving on the Golden Gate Ferry from San Francisco or from parking easily in the parking lots adjacent to the Sausalito Plaza.

Yelp
After missing the Angel Island ferry, we detoured to Sausalito and hung out at this park to play games with my sister and her friends for her birthday. It's a beautiful park with a large fountain in the center and plenty of grass to lay out on. There's also several trees to give you shade from the hot sun. The shops and eateries nearby also make this a great picnic spot (not to forget the ice cream shop just across the way!).
