We had one of the best tapas experiences in all of Portugal at this place! It’s warm and cozy inside and the staff are very friendly! The menu is well explained, and dishes are served with the plating finesse. We especially enjoyed the dessert, but also the abundance of wine choices. Our favourite dish was the baked goats cheese with honey and walnuts. Highly recommended!

So glad we found this place! Stopped by on the way to Caceras and were sold by other reviews here. We were told, at the time we went, only tapas no mains, but no mains were necessary with the incredible selection of tapas here. Good to note many places close for lunchtime (between two or three and five or six pm), this place stays open throughout. The venue is so charming as well. And such warm, genuine staff!

We have had some tapas here which were lovely. It was paired with some great local wines. Afterwards we had a great dessert with wonderful porto. Price quality, this place is great! I recommend it to everyone who is around. BTW the chorizo was awesome 😀

Went beyond our expectations. Booked through the Fork. They apparently don’t serve the full menu in the late afternoon, only tapas/ appetizers. But it totally was no problem. The soup of the day which was a mushroom soup was the most impressive soup we have ever had, ordered a second bowl. Goat cheese with honey and walnuts is a must have. A great experience overall.

Loved it! Great food, freshly prepared and served with a friendly smile. They welcomed our small dog on the outdoor terrace and brought him water in a small bowl. Highly recommended.

This is a hidden gem on a side street. We were lucky to find it by confidence. The tapasa were yummy. The wine was unbelievably good and cheap. The host is genuinely nice and polite. I highly recommend this place for value , quality and ambiance 👍👍

Yelp
Great casual, tiny (10 seats) spot for wine and simple, great tapas. Friendly service (very good English spoken).

Yelp
Tapas were so good and the vinho de Semana (wine of the week) were unbelievably delicious, all accented by the calls of the peacocks at the nearby Roman ruins. Especially try the Tabua mista, queijo assado and the salada with q de cabra and pear-chutney. Everything was elegantly presented! Go!

Yelp
This intimate little wine shop on a side street in Evora should not be missed. It is a beautifully designed space full of sly humor and good food. The hostess speaks excellent English and Spanish and has all the knowledge necessary to guide you skillfully through a tasting of local wines or a dinner of delicious tapas paired with the appropriate regional wines. We sampled a salad of Roquefort and pears, roasted peppers stuffed with tuna and mushrooms stuffed with garlic and coriander to name just a few. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. There are only four tables in the space so reservations are strongly recommended to ensure a spot.

Yelp
Overrated based on the reviews. Tapas were fine but some were oversalted and others were uninspired. Service was not on par with other places we have eaten during this trip. Ribs were good but not as special as reviews have you believe. (The big secret appears to be anise.)

Yelp
This place was a hidden gem. The wine list was extensive, and there were also a few flight options. The server was very knowledgeable about the wines. The tapas options included both hot and cold choices. We sampled both, and were very pleased with the quality. The prices were reasonable, especially given the portion size. This place should not be missed!
