Extremely disappointed with my experience here. While browsing, I was roughly pushed by someone in the store, causing me to nearly fall. I have no idea why this happened. My arm is still hurting from the incident. This kind of aggressive and rude behavior is completely unacceptable. I expected a safe shopping environment, not to be physically pushed.

When I went to Iceland in January 2025, I bought chocolate from that shop. It was so delicious, but I don't know the name of the chocolate. 😭 If you're going after reading this review, definitely try the chocolate in the pink matte packaging! And if you could include a picture of the packaging or the name of the chocolate in your review, I'd appreciate it. I'll check back often to see if there are any reviews. Please let me know.

Yup, this place is a straight up candy shop. Icelandic, mainland European, and American options can all be found here. Big variety, but they come at a price. If you are patient, you can find most of the things in this store at other markets for cheaper.

I visit Vinberid for the truffles every time I’m in Reykjavik. I have not found any like them in all my travels, you must try them. I promise you wont be disappointed, but I can guarantee you’ll be hooked.
