Vincci Alfama

In the heart of the Alfama district in Lisboa, I loved this hotel! The rooms were modern, comfortable, and the space was well-designed. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming. Please note that you MUST be okay with steep hills if staying at this hotel - there’s no way around steep, cobblestone streets in the Alfama district! But the location is lovely for nighttime walks, and the famous tram goes very close to the hotel. A wonderful experience, this was my first vincci hotel but I will be checking for others in future locations I visit. :)

Vincci Alfama was a beautiful hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Alfama. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

We stayed for two nights at the start and end of our trip to Portugal. The staff were unreal - very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well appointed and the welcome glass of prosecco and the pastry in the room were nice touches. The location is great and lots of restaurants and sights are walkable from there. We would definitely stay again when we return to Lisbon.

The hotel itself is very nice - the room was excellent, comfortable beds and ac, nice bathroom, and roomy overall. The breakfast was also excellent, and compliments to the server and chef, they both went above and beyond to accommodate us. We didn’t love the area - its in the Alfama district, which is historical, small windy roads and “charming”, but it also seemed a good 15+ minutes further away from many of the sites and restaurants we wanted to go to closer to the heart of Lisbon (maybe more touristy, but also more accessible). We had heard about the amazing service of the front desk, but when we arrived, after saying we were coming from Porto we were told that Porto was nicer… an interesting way to begin our Lisbon experience. We didn’t experience the service we read about until our 3rd day, and then it was quite helpful.

This lovely hotel has exceptionally helpful staff, is in a neighborhood that makes you feel like you live in Lisbon, feeds you a tasty breakfast that will get you through the day, and offers quiet and nicely appointed rooms for sleep. As frequent travelers we consider this one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had.

What a wonderful stay we had at Vincci Alfama. The room was spacious comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and always served with a friendly smile and chat. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a cobbled hill, so a level of fitness is required.

We had an amazing stay at Vincci in Alfama. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the city, making it super easy to explore Lisbon on foot. The hotel’s design is cool and stylish, with a modern yet cozy vibe that really adds to the experience. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast buffet: exceptionally good, with a wide and fresh selection, and totally hassle-free. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff were excellent and could not do enough for us, very knowledgeable and friendly, The room was a good size with plenty of storage, bed was huge and very comfortable , breakfast each day was also excellent with plenty to choose from. Location of the hotel was on a steep hillside so a certain degree of fitness was required. Would definitely recommend this hotel .
