Vincci Ponte de Ferro

We loved this hotel! Located right outside of Ponte Luis 1 and a major metro stop, it was so convenient to get beautiful views and easy access to many bars and restaurants. The rooms were lovely and the service was great. My fiance and I are recently engaged and the hospitality team provided us with a discounted room upgrade and complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. It was the perfect way to celebrate. Thank you for such a great stay and visit - we will be back!

Our flight was canceled, and we needed a place to stay last minute — what a pleasant surprise! I only wish we had found this hotel for our entire stay in Porto. Everything was perfect, from the friendly service to the incredible food. Thank you for turning an unexpected situation into such a wonderful experience!

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Vincii Ponte Ferro Hotel in Porto. It is an exquisite, fine hotel. The hotel is nestled in a great location, close to all all there is to do in Porto. The decor is amazing and the staff's attention to detail cannot be faulted. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices including cereals, toast with selection of preserves and breads, hot drinks, fresh juices, wide selection of pastries, cooked breakfast aswell as section of cheeses and meats, range of fresh fruits including melons and oranges. Items made to order were also available, for example, omelettes and pancakes. Dinner was consistently excellent. Rafael and his team were fully attentive to our needs. The meat dishes and fish dishes were particularly flavoursome. Dessert was absolutely delicious, we could not resist the chocolate fondant with tangerine sorbet. A big thank you to Fernanda, Ester and Milina at breakfast, Flavia in Reception and again to Rafael and his team for making our stay even more memorable. Unfortunately I feel it is important to mention that this review could have been very different if it was based solely on our initial interaction with the reception staff on arrival, in particular two female desk staff who were neither engaging, attentive or friendly. For example, rather than welcoming us to the hotel, they pursued to sell us an upgrade before we even saw our booked room. We felt it was unnecessary and lacked class.

I had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, and the hotel offers a beautiful view. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The service could be improved, but overall, it was a nice experience. The restaurants and cafés in the hotel are a great place to relax and enjoy your time

A wonderful hotel on 14 floors built into a hillside in the city of Gaia and overlooking the Douro River and the city of Porto. Conveniently placed to visit both. The reception was on level 14, the same as the bridge, whilst street level was floor 1. Two sets of lifts were available operating between 1 and 10 and 10 and 14. The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and well equipped. The garage was somewhat difficult to get into and out of but on the way in there were staff to help.|The Sky Bar was something else with wonderful views of the Porto Riverside. Pigeons were a little bit of a nuisance but there was a falcon plus handler to keep them away,

Our experience at this hotel in Porto was truly extraordinary. From the moment we checked in, the staff welcomed my husband and me with warmth, making us feel valued and at ease. The stunning views, luxurious rooms, and exceptional restaurants created an unforgettable atmosphere. Our visits to the Adega were a highlight, where João's insights into the wines of Portugal enriched our evenings with his marvelous recommendations. The staff at the Terrace 6 Ponte Sky Bar and the Ponte de Ferro Restaurant radiated delight and hospitality. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vincci Ponte de Ferro. The location is unbeatable—right beside the Ponte Luís I Bridge with stunning views of the Douro River and Porto’s historic center. My room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff were always kind and helpful. The rooftop terrace and pool were a highlight, perfect for relaxing while enjoying breathtaking city views. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied. A perfect choice for comfort, style, and an unforgettable Porto experience!

We recently spent a most wonderful three day weekend at Hotel Vincci de Ferro in Porto. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. First rate level of service, where they really treat you like royalties, trying very hard to please on every aspect. Then the food, unbelievable… and the breakfast is a bargain for what they serve up. Finally the view, right in the heart of the most beautiful and walkable city. I fell in love with this place ❤️
