We stumbled across this little gem on a short trip to Bergamo. The restaurant is so welcoming and the decor is gorgeous. The wine section was great, the service was fantastic and the free antipasti with each glass of wine was to die for would highly recommend.

Beautiful old style wine bar. Food was good but we only has small portions with nice wines

Fine Dining for Everyone! Never thought we would stumble into a restaurant of this calibre. Dishes were beautifully crafted but the art was in the execution of the balance of the matchmaking of the ingredients that made my taste buds dance and my heart sing. My Dark Cocoa Tartlet (savoury) was divine!!! If I am ever in Bergamo or in Milan, I will definitely come back to this under-rated restaurant again. The service was excellent. Tita looked after us wonderfully!!

I dined solo for the evening. I walked in and asked for a table and was seated somewhere towards the back for a nice quiet meal. The music was a fantastic playlist to go along with the food. I had excellent service with the waitress taking care of me for my time there. She made some excellent recommendations for the evening. They have many gluten free options to choose from here. Reading some of the other reviews was unfortunate to read. I had the opposite experience with my visit to this place without a reservation and walking in. I will definitely dine here again if I’m the Bergamo area.

This is the best GLUTEN FREE restaurant in the area. The menu has many GF options and the service is very good. I would suggest making a reservation during week-ends because it was quite full. Gourmet food with local ingredients.

The restaurant looks nice from the outside, inside is not the same thing. Part of the restaurant has fake grass floor which makes the ambient not nice. Food was okey but definitely over priced. The quality of the food didn’t match the expectations plus dessert was served in a cheap glass jar and tasted like a regular chocolate yogurt from a shop. Service was really slow, there was luck of any client service in general. Overall we would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Nice atmosphere, goid wine, the food is tasty but small portions. The quail or Galletto comes without side dish.. Extremely touristic.. That said, it's a rip off.. 4.50€ coperto it's really exaggerated.

Lovely cenario with very tasty food. The coffee was incredibly bad. Very toasted and drak, not as usual Italian espresso. We tried to explain to the waitress and she was not very comprehensive. The starters were a bit expensive.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and comprehensive wine selection, gin selection, scotch selection. Polenta entrée blew me away with two sauces perfectly divided down the center of the polenta cake like entrée. I had the meat plate appetizers that was just perfectly prepared with the amazing Parma ham. Excellent service and good price/value relationship. It is impossible to find a mediocre meal in the city of Bergamo.

Yelp
Among the many enotecas of Bergamo, Cozzi deserves special mention. Founded in 1848, the Vineria still has many of its original fittings, and the owner Simona takes pride in keeping things as they are. Step inside through the modest but pretty frontage, and you are in a timeless place, where the ancient hand carved shelves groan with wine and the old marble counter is topped with delicacies to nibble upon as you enjoy your glass of wine. To the rear lies a tiny internal dining room where you can take a more substantial meal, and on through here is a courtyard with a few more tables. Everything is beautifully laid out in an exceptionally tasteful manner. The dining aspect of Cozzi's has taken on a more serious aspect in recent years, and today it can lay claim to a place among the top destinations in the Citta Alta. Inventive cookery based on local products could offer you dishes such as: Tart of Potato, Honey, Goats Cheese and Chestnuts; Rice cooked in Barolo with Radicchio; Lamb cutlets with winter ratatouille; and red fruit meringues with white chocolate. Lunch is an excellent option at Cozzi's, as from Mon-Fri only they offer a 25% discount off their menu prices.

Yelp
Pretentious place with low quality food. The starter, goat cheese on smoked aubergine was mediocre. The ravioli was swimming in a heavy buttery oily sauce. The black angus burger was dry and full of irrelevant herbs. It was closer to a sujuk than to a burger. The service was good but they were always running around you leaving. The wine selection is interesting. Avoid.

Yelp
This place is full of smiling faces, good food, and an authentic atmosphere. This was by far the best food we had on our trip to Italy. You really get the sense that the staff enjoy working here. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit.

Yelp
This is one of the best places to eat in Citta Alta, infact the whole of Bergamo. We've been here for both lunch and dinner and enjoyed great food (the lamb was amazing), great wines and family like welcome.
