I asked if we could taste some sherry's and they gave us a lot of information included with 6 different bottles. And some suitable food with it. Thank you very much. If we are back in Sevilla, we will return!

Google
The best meal of our trip so far. I would never order grilled pork but I went out on a limb based on the owner’s recommendation and the pluma was the best steak I’ve had in recent memory, literally melt-in-mouth tender and so flavorful. Paired perfectly with the Albariño, Spanish dining at its finest.

I was here 9 years ago. At that time it was the best meal throughout my 2 weeks trip. I was so excited to come back to Seville again and the highlight of the trip was to come back and dine here again. Food was as amazing as I expected. Prawn carpaccio and marinated salmon are the best and not to miss. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seville. You will not be disappointed.

Google
Such an amazing experience. Very friendly staff, unbelievable good food. We have such a nice time there, also our small dog wa welcome. I highly recommend to go there.

We came here based off of an online recommendation, and at first I was skeptical, but it exceeded my expectations. The prices were very cheap, and the food was really good. I paid €9 for a steak and chips, and got a local beer as well. The food was really good and worth the price. The atmosphere was good too, it seemed like a local winery/brewery. If you are looking for dinner it Seville I would defiantly recommend.

Google
We came here with some friends and it was a great experience!! The steak was probably the best I’ve ever had. The drinks were all good and the tapas were delicious. 10/10 recommend!

This restaurant is a must for your visit. The Squid Ink Spaghetti with Pesto and Seafood is amazing. Quite spicy but beautiful. We had one kid with the party. The maitre di couldn’t do enough for us preparing chicken nuggets specially.

Google
I had squid ink spaghetti, potato salad with tuna belly, and Iberian pork for lunch. They were all great choices! Location is great as well. Recommendable place to go when in Sevilla.

Yelp
This was one of my favorite meals in all of Spain! I wanted to keep coming back here because I enjoyed it so much. You can make a reservation online, so I highly advise that because the restaurant is rather small. Somehow I got lucky enough to snag a table right before the lunch rush. We were famished upon arrival and everything on the menu sounded absolutely amazing. Normally not a fan of fusion, but they incorporated modern twists to classic Spanish tapas seamlessly. We ordered a few tapas to share between two people: KING PRAWN CARPACCIO: an absolute must order. The prawns were fresh, thinly sliced and marinaded well. Paired with the sweet soy sauce reduction, it was absolute *chefs kiss. The arugula added a nice refreshing touch to it too! I'm still drooling over this carpaccio til this very day. BRAISED OXTAIL IN PHYLLO PASTRY: was flavorful, tender and moist. Somehow with all the oxtail stuffed in it, the phyllo pastry managed to stay crispy and crunchy. This whole tapa had an amazing texture to it. The oxtail was so flavorful, you didn't even need the aioli that came with it! SQUID INK PASTA: was plentiful as a tapa, but we saw people around us ordering it as a plate. The garlic flavor really penetrated the pasta and we didn't actually need the pesto on the side. But the pesto sauce was nutty, refreshing and spiced up the dish itself. There was a generous serving of mussels, scallops, shrimps and squid shreds; all which tasted very fresh! GRILLED PLUMA IBERICO: was served on a tender piece of pumpkin puree and microgreens. No spain trip is complete without some iberico pork. The pork was tender and well seasoned. The pumpkin puree with the curry oil also complemented each other very well. I believe the curry oil is a bit unconventional to Spanish tapas, but I thought this really elevated the tapa. MANCHEGO: they served 4 slices with dried raisins/apricots and a jam on the side. I love Manchego, so this was non negotiable for me Must order a sangria or tinto verano to pair with all these tapas. The drinks were well made and very refreshing! We enjoyed our meal so much we made plans to come back later that night. If there's any place you should come to in Sevilla, it's here!

Yelp
Just okay. Too small, making it feel tight. Had to wait. Food nice. Price average for the area

Yelp
Delicious food and great service. Came here as part of a food tour and enjoyed it so much that we came back again the last night of our trip. They were very understanding and easily accommodated for my vegetarian diet. My partner loved their ox tail and squid spaghetti, as well. Forgot to take pictures of everything since we were too busy eating. Everything was amazing!

Yelp
We came to this restaurant for lunch with high expectations especially in regards to their wines. I must say we expected more. The menu seemed in my opinion geared too much to tourists. The quality of the food was not on par with other restaurants we had dined at in the region. There were a few items worth mentioning such as the sweetbreads with mashed potatoes which were tasty and the huevos rotos with ham which was good overall, except one of the eggs was way overcooked.

Sarah N.

Yelp
Recommended by our AirBnB host and it was amazing food! Good mix of old school tapas and more modern dishes, it was great! Outdoor and indoor seating and great wines as well.

Yelp
One of the best meals we've had here in Sevilla with amazing service. We had a group of 9 and ordered some awesome dishes: -oxtail braised in a phyllo wrap -salmon tartare -squid ink pasta with mixed seafood (one of the best) -flash pan fried sea bass on a bed of potato purée -Argentinian steak (petite cut) .... All were really good with very reasonable prices. Don't forget to ask for the pitcher of Tinto Verano. Until we dine again next time in Sevilla.

Yelp
A wine bar and tapas bar located in the Santa Cruz neighborhood of Seville. We actually ended up eating here twice-once as a part of a food tour then a couple of days later on our own. On our second visit they seemed to be a touch understaffed with one English speaking guy doing his best to take care of almost all the tables on the nice patio out front. As with all tapas bars, the kitchen decides what food you get when. We tried quite a few items including fried chicken (not much flavor), arugula salad with tomatoes & buratta (yummy), broccoli and couscous salad (lite and healthy), Argentina's beef (a bit fatty but tasty) and some cheese. With a bottle of Rose wine it was only about 45€-a pretty great value.

Yelp
Best meal in Seville so far! Service was fantastic too. Really big menu with a good selection. The foie gras, grilled sweet breads, steak, and cheese plate was all phenomenal--wish I had ordered dessert. Who knows, I might come back before I leave town. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Deeply satisfying tapas with a rare combination of great portions and great variety. I was studying Spanish in Seville for a month and my close friend was visiting from the States. We had just watched the sun set over the beautiful Plaza de España and hankered for some traditional tapas. We came across this restaurant on our way back into city center. We put our name down and were told the wait would be half an hour. Although it was well past 9pm, we were completely immersed in the Spanish life of eating late and letting things be, so wait we did. Luckily we did not wander far. In five minutes, several tables opened up, and we were promptly seated in the restaurant. We sat next to the glass wine cellar. Twenty, maybe twenty-five, customers shared the cozy amber hue. Most of the customers were tourists, but there were a few larger tables of locals. The décor was unabashedly quaint. As customary, the waiter took our drinks order first - a tinto de verano (red wine with spritzer) and a clara (beer with lemonade). Both were refreshing reprieves from the 40 degree heat outside. Then we looked at their extensive menus (printed in both Spanish and English) and went to town. Most dishes were offered in tapa, medium, and large. As everything we ordered was tapa-sized and more substantial expected, we can only fathom the absurdity of a "large" portion. = Food = Starters: - Homemade fois gras mi cuit with vanilla oil and caramelized peanuts (€5.20): more of a terrine texture, but still great flavor without being too heavy. Absolutely loved the caramelized peanuts - crunchy, honeyed, and light! It was a great start to the dinner. - King prawn carpaccio with sesame seeds and soy reduction (€4.50): my first time trying prawn carpaccio. Not a fan of prawns generally, and this dish did not change that. But my friend enjoyed the dish and it tasted fresh. Main courses: - Squid ink spaghetti with garlic, pesto and grilled scallops (€4.20): only one scallop for the tapa size, which is to be expected. Unlike other squid ink pasta that tastes solely of squid ink, the garlic and pesto flavors complements and elevates the briny squid ink. Great dish for those who always crave a small portion of carbs for dinner, without ordering an entire plate of pasta. - Grilled "Pluma Ibérica" (Pork) with curry oil pumpkin and fried rocket (€4.70): my favorite dish of the night. The pork was cooked to perfection - tender, moist, and flavorful. I'm not sure I've had better pork before - and I've had a lot of pork growing up in Hong Kong. The curry oil was a surprising addition to the traditional garlic-centric Spanish flavor. I would definitely order this again! - Grilled Argentinian beef fillet with a sweet mustard sauce (€4.70): solid steak, cooked perfectly to medium rare as we ordered. Well salted, but otherwise a standard steak. Stewed oxtail in crispy filo pastry (€4.90): I love oxtail, so I had high hopes for this dish. But I was disappointed. For me, oxtail is still best served on the bone, with the tendons. However, the sauce and the pastry were great. If you've never had oxtail, and are not willing to work your mouth through an oxtail bone, this could be a good dish. Dessert: The dessert dishes were mostly cakes and torts, displayed in a cart by the door. Nothing jumped out at us, so we were content to nurse our food babies with a second round of drinks. At the end of the meal, our waitress forgot our coffee. After we followed up, she apologized and quickly shuffled to the bar to make the coffee herself. She also left the coffee off the bill, and told us it was on the house. = Verdict = I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Seville. Authentic Spanish tapas without being traditionally heavy on olive oil. Both my friend and I had a wonderful night, and left very satisfied.

Yelp
Just had lunch here - sitting outside in the sun which was lovely! It's a Sunday and it was really busy and not enough staff on so service was a bit slow and brusque. However 3 of our 4 tapas were excellent. The king prawn carpaccio was delish as was the prawn tempura with zucchini and the squid ink pasta. The broccoli couscous not so good. Nice atmosphere sitting outside and on another day if not so busy the service might be better. We will return and see!! Would be 4 star if service was better. Price was very reasonable.

Yelp
Had the Salmon and Argentinan beef - Owner was on the floor and checking on food quality, guest satisfaction and interactively entertaining and checking on us - great food, great service - highly recommend!!! Our waitress, Shiala, was amazing. Best recommendations ever!!! Definitely coming back!!!

Yelp
Good food but tapas are somewhat more expensive than the standard in Sevilla. Don't get croquetas, they are overpriced and not even typical (curry spices are not used in Spanish cuisine...). Salmorejo is good!

Yelp
Nice setting near the Real Alcazar and its adjacent park and gardens. Comfortable even on a hot day (it was 35 C when I ate there) thanks to shading and the occasional misting. Thought I might have to wait as it was Sunday, and the party checking in ahead of me had made a reservation. But, they seated a solo diner right away. I had the salmojores (cold creamy tomato soup with bits of bacon on top), a rocket salad and a tomato/eggplant/smoked salmon "tower". The soup was delicious and hit the spot on a hot day. The tower was quite a spectacle to look at, stunning with several layers stacked on top of each other. I had a challenge figuring out how to cut into it without ruining the beauty. Salad was also very good and ample (could've easily split it with two people). Terrific and diverse wine list too. One feature that might annoy some is the troupe that plays music and dances, then goes around each table to collect tips. I found it ok, but also thought going round twice to collect money in the time that it took me to eat my lunch (45 minutes) was a bit much. The clientele seemed to be a majority of tourists, like me.

Yelp
Great restaurant for groups with very different tastes in food. Vegetarian and vegan friendly. The salmon tartar was on point, but the real star for me was the arugula and burrata salad. The menu mentions it comes with tomatoes, but mine also included sundries tomatoes which really elevated the dish. We walked in at around 10 and were lucky enough to snag a table for two outside. The waiter was very friendly and spoke English pretty well!

Yelp
Fantastic wine menu (as one would expect from the name). Huge selection if wines by the glass from across Spain...can also buy anything by the bottle to take away. One of the servers speaks excellent U.S. Midwest English. Wiled away 3 hours here one day. 2 while the kitchen was closed, exploring Spain from our table. When the kitchen opened, ordered the squid-ink pasta and sauteed octopus. Phenomenal. Came back again the next day for the pasta and the Losada wine.

Yelp
A five-star tapas lunch (food wise), detracted by the Sunday 'scene' - an unpleasant cacophony of screaming children and shrill shouting (aka family conversation). Nonetheless, the tapas won the day, in particular: the beef carpaccio roll (with a deliciously fragrant noodle side), pork and pumpkin tapas, and Argentine style beef. Definitely worthy of a dinner revisit... Review #2 Of which, our excellent initial visit was duplicated, plus the discovery of a Moroccan pastry (savory with powdered sugar -- perfect with a cream Sherry).

Yelp
Our tour guide recommended this place, and it was solid. Not tourist food at all. We had Iberian ham, manchego with onions, ham-wrapped swordfish with rice, and steak with chips. The last two we got as media-racion. Honestly, for two people, this was too much food! Portions were large. I didn't care for the ham (personal preference! jamon is sacred in Spain, I know) but the cheese and onions were good. Swordfish was a little dry, and the ham didn't work for me. The food wasn't super-delicious, but I think that was due to our palates and what we ordered. The menu looked very promising and a touch upscale. There were locals eating here, and it was very busy.

Yelp
This restaurant will remained forever bookmarked within my Yelp mobile app even after I review it - just to be sure I'll find it again. We walked in quite soggy after battling the elements during a 20-minute walk, armed with only a flimsy umbrella... I'm happy to report that our first meal in Sevilla was one I'd happily repeat again! After selecting a table in the quaint restaurant, we were greeted by a woman who in that moment could have doubled as God - she kindly brought us an extensive wine list so we could get started straight away. While sipping our vibrant Tempranillo blend, we perused the menu and settled on a mix of cold and warm tapas. In a moment, the world had turned from cold to right. The must-trys: - The Moroccan pastry! At the intersection of sweet and savory lies the heart of everything you could ever desire in a dish. Chicken, golden raisins, onions, cinnamon (along with some ingredients I couldn't place) all carefully wrapped in a delicate envelope of warm pastry. - Potato salad with mayonnaise, prawns and tuna. Might sound bizarre to some, but I say it's delicious. - King prawn carpaccio with toasted sesame seeds and soy sauce. As good as it sounds! - Fried San Telmo potatoes and yucca chips served with three savory sauces - Warm red cabbage salad with mascarpone, gorgonzola, raisins, pine nuts and a reduction of balsamic vinegar One glass of wine leisurely turned into a vacation bottle, and soon we were sufficiently warmed with bellies full, ready to take on the world. Well-done, Vinería San Telmo!

Yelp
Vineria San Telmo in Seville, Spain is forever engraved in my yelp account. This restaurant is a 6* in terms of my ratings I give for US restaurants and a 5* in terms of European ratings. It's been over a year since I've eaten here but my memories of what I've tried are vivid. It's quite hard to categorize the type of food that is served at this restaurant. Most people label this place as a tapas establishment because it's convenient to label a Spanish restaurant as a place that serves tapas but it's more of a place that serves fusion tapas dishes that is influenced by dishes from Greece, France, and Italy. That being said, this place is: 1) Arguably the top 2 tapas restaurants I have eaten in my life (all fairness I haven't tried crazy high end places like El Bulli tapas) 2) Completely smashes all the 2 star and under Michelin star restaurants that I tried in Spain and the US The three most memorable dishes in order are: 1) Beef tenderloin: grilled to perfection, fantastic marbling of the meat, and marvelously tender. Opinions of others who have tried this say it's as good if not better than Peter Luger steak in NY. 2) Squid ink pasta: cooked to perfection and extremely chewy. My experiences with the squid ink pasta here put the squid ink pasta I had at Michelin Star restaurants in NYC to shame (2* Marea and 1* Ai Fiori). We are talking at least a 2 grade difference between the NYC restaurants and here. 3) Foie Gras- Great texture, extremely buttery, handily beats Foie Gras at 99% of French restaurants in the US but is still not quite on the level of the top grade foie gras found in Paris. As several have noted, this place is located on the outskirts of the tourist district of Seville and you can't say much about the ambiance because it's located next to a high traffic street. That, however, is nowhere near a deterrent..or even a factor that one should consider for dining at this place. A tasting of any one of the 3 dishes that I mentioned above should readily convince you that every effort to eat at this restaurant was not wasted in vain.

Yelp
When visiting Seville, this is a must go! My friends and I recently visited the city and stopped in for lunch. After being absolutely blown away with the quality and portion size of the tapas, and the service, we came back for dinner. I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Seville. This is a one-of-a-kind type of restaurant.

Yelp
Great menu. Recommend the eggplant tower. The shrimp salad was okay. The cheese plate had a TON of cheese and good fig jam. The pork with pumpkin and the squid ink pasta also looked amazing. Great drinks. Friendly staff that were patient and kind to non-Spanish speakers. Nice patio.

Yelp
Went here around 11 after a Flemenco show for tapas. We got 4 to share each better than the last. I highly recommend the stewed oxtail roll!

Yelp
Awesome little gem! Great food!!Was here with the family while visiting Seville. One of the few restaurants that had a variety of vegetarian options. The place was packed and we got to sit outside which was great. Service was exceptional and the owner maybe checked on us. The wine was excellent too. Had a wonderful time and totally would recommend this place.

Yelp
This is a must do in Seville. We visited due to the fab reviews on tripadivsor and weren't disappointed. Juan took us through a journey of local sherries, with tapas, which we wouldn't have otherwise tried. However, we are now big fans of sherry thanks to Juan! Tapas is fantastic and, teamed with great sherries in the beautiful al fresco dining area, this is a must! Inexpensive and great experience. Ask Juan to take you through a sherry experience......you will remember it forever!!

Yelp
Great wine bar with contemporary tapas. It seems geared for ex pats who speak English but the food is great. I enjoyed the squid ink pasta with scallops and pesto, though I found the scallops a tad flavorless and fishy. The black pudding rice crepe with red pepper sauce is delicious and surprisingly light, though I think I'd have to share this one. The grilled mushrooms were beautifully presented though not mind blowing. I like this place a lot and would probably be a regular if I lived nearby. I didn't find it as incredible as so many of the other places I tried in Sevilla. It's packed on a Saturday night even well after 11, so be prepared to wait or else plan ahead and come on an off hour. It seems to take reservations.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Interesting, fresh menu items and attentive service with a great drink menu make this a great spot to dine. Stop in for Tapas or a full meal.
google avatar

Mr B.

Yelp
Dynamic evening group setting with indoor and out options. Great cheese and wine selection with tapas diversity truly enticing for even the most diverse palate. I was really impressed with the tenderloin with mustard sauce, croquettes with ham, and the shrimp. Well, the gazpacho was pretty impressive too. Oh, great quotes everywhere and an upbeat vibe all around.
google avatar

Yelp
I lived in Sevilla for 6 weeks and this is the best restaurant I found in the city. It was also rather affordable, especially considering how good the quality of the food was. Every tapa we ordered was perfectly-sized, delicious, and presented wonderfully. I recommend the duck and the solomillo with jamon iberico de bellota (best ham this world makes). The service was the best we experienced in Sevilla and everyone on the staff speaks English. My girlfriend and I ordered wine, beer, 3 tapas, and dessert and it came out to 22 Euros. Make reservations or you will wait, even on weekdays.
google avatar

Stanislav T.

Yelp
This place is an absolute gem. Superb oxtail roll and foie gras. The staff is awesome. Dasha and Anechka made this dinner a great experience. The owner Juanich was so welcoming !!! We loved Vinería San Telmo !!!
google avatar

Mike Y.

Yelp
This was one of the best meal we had when we were in Spain this summer. Better get reservation, otherwise, you will be waiting for a long time. Waiters are friendly (but remember that this is a busy place) and you can select to sit inside or outside (we did outside). We had around 10 tapas for 4 people and we were stuffed to the top. Sangria is good also.
google avatar

Tony P.

Yelp
We truly enjoyed everything that we ordered! The food recommendations of our ultra friendly server, Kenneth, were delicious! We hope to come back here again. Will definitely recommend to our friends!
google avatar

Irene S.

Yelp
It's a must try tapas restaurant. It will definitely satisfy both the eyes and tummy. Good presentation and good portion. We ordered 4 tapas for 2 pax.
google avatar

Richard M.

Yelp
Tapas and more tapas, what else do you need. A cold cerveza which is available all over Spain. So the following is what we started with: Cured Spanish Ham "Iberica Bellota" Warm cheese tart "Torta de Castuera" with caramalised onions Assortment of five Spanish cheeses Assortment of cured meats: ham, pork loin, salami & chorizo Next to the main course's of tapas: Potato salad with mayonnaise, prawns and tuna Homemade poultry paté with tomato marmalade Beef Carpaccio King prawn carpaccio with toasted sesame seeds and soy sauce Homemade foie gras mi-cuit with vanilla oil and caramelized peanuts Scrambled eggs with potatoes, Iberian sausage & ham The waiter tried to prevent me from ordering all these dishes, said it was way to much food. He was right, the portions where bigger then I'd expected but nearly finished them all.
google avatar

Jay R.

Yelp
After a morning guided tour my travel pal (wife!) and I happened into this place for lunch. We had two people help us out, both of whom spoke English (for my wife) and Spanish (for my practice). We had a nice bottle of Albariño to drink and nibbled on the melted cheese with caramelized onions, spinach cheese apple shrimp salad, and croquetas. Everything was very good, and we walked out satisfied. It's worth another visit if/when we return to Sevilla.
google avatar

Todd Z.

Yelp
Ok it's off a busy street. But by far the best Tapas I have had in Seville. Don't forget to try the chocolate cake
google avatar

Ilyoung Y.

Yelp
Not recommend. Service was no good (especially a female server), squid ink pasta was the worst pasta I've ever had, and I found a cockroach in the toillet.
google avatar

Armando M.

Yelp
The boiled Ox tail in philo dough was really good. Definitely try it if you're here. The Squid ink spaghetti pasta with pesto is more about pasta with pesto than the ink so don't be afraid to try it. It looks exotic and it's good. We also got the grilled octopus which was also good but a bit heavy on the garlic. Overall a good place to try when your visiting this side of Seville.
google avatar

Katy S.

Yelp
Great spot for some delicious tapas and a glass of wine. Show up early for a table and don't forget dessert! The carrot cake was amazing and tapas generous.
google avatar

W W.

Yelp
Went there for late lunch. Let me just say the food, drinks, service was amazing!!! We loved all the selections!

Seung-hyun J.

Yelp
The ink pasta was really delicious!! The seafood smells good and the noodles were chewy. The hummus we ordered together was not as delicious as we thought. When I first tasted it, it seemed to smell Indian. (Later , I realized that it was because of thespecial beans), but it mixed well with olive oil sprinkled on the bread and vegetable.
google avatar

Elisa P.

Yelp
Food wasn't good at all. Meat (pork) was super dry and other tapas extremely oily and nothing fresh. Good thing was the price, inexpensive as most places in town
google avatar

Candy B.

Yelp
My husband and I are vegan and VST was fantastic! Seville was the most difficult city for us to eat in and the waitstaff here was so accommodating of our dietary restrictions. Anything we liked but needed to modify because of a sauce or cheese, was no problem to change. Service was prompt and food was so flavorful. The potatoes with spicy sauce were sooo good and the roasted veggies and mushroom dish were descious we ordered a second one! We schmoozed here and took our time - never felt rushed, but at prime dinner hour this place was packed both inside and out so come early if you're anxious to sit down. Menus were in English and staff was fluent, I'd absolutely come back here! *This town isn't know for their proteins so you'll have to load up on carbs and veggies
google avatar

John F.

Yelp
Try as we might, our family had been unsuccessful and unimpressed with most tapas establishments in Seville other than our hotel. Then we wandered into Vinería San Telmo and that all changed. We had pork over a sweet potato, Moroccan puff pastry pie, Argentine beef, and the stewed oxtail. All were exceptional. We would definitely return to this charming tapas bar and restaurant.
google avatar

Aaron D.

Yelp
Agree with Emm on the squid ink pasta - ours came with garlic and grilled scallops. Portions are small, prices are reasonable, the late night crowd was lively and cheerful, service was excellent. Do be aware that the outdoor tables on the sidewalk may well be packed at 10 p.m, 11 p.m., etc.... You can put your name on a waiting list, but you may need to wait up to an hour. I think reservations are taken earlier in the evening for dinner, but I believe they stop taking reservations around 9:30. As the 'Vineria' in the name indicates, wine is the drink to get here. I tried ordering a refresco (soft drink) and the bartender who took the order 'forgot' about it -- but I think he was just disgusted that I tried to order something non-alcoholic. Eventually we ordered two sangrias. If you sit outside, you may be serenaded by roaming musicians who will request coins on the back of their guitar. That didn't bother me at all. Some of them are quite good and the ones here did not take umbrage if you preferred not to tip (unlike an irritable fellow I encountered playing at Bar Kiki in Granada). It's a bit less pleasant when beggars make their way among the closely-spaced tables asking for handouts. I would prefer if Spanish restaurants discouraged such behavior, but it seems to be part of the live-and-let-live spirit in Spain to allow it. Or maybe it is just tolerated given the current economic travails there. In Granada (again with Granada) there were African(-looking) merchants who would squeeze their way into packed tapas bars carrying racks of sunglasses, jewelry, DVDs, etc. to try to sell them to patrons. I never saw them discouraged or chastised by management. "C'est la vie," they would say in France. Not sure what the equivalent is in Spain ("Es la vida"?) Anyway, I'd highly recommend Vinera San Telmo for a late-night (by U.S. standards) dinner in Sevilla. Despite being alongside a busy road, the restaurant still manages to have an exciting, even romantic atmosphere. And the quality of the food can be inferred from the people willing to wait an hour for a table even at 10 p.m.

Yelp
We arrived is Seville and we were starving. The lady at the front desk of our hotel said this was the place where she eats. The food was surprisingly delicious. They had a wide variety of dishes; including vegetarian options and salads (outside of ensalada mixta and rusa). They also have the option to have the majority of the dishes small, medium or large. It gave me an opportunity to try a few dishes that would normally be too much. I started with a salad with nuts and blue cheese. It was well dressed and a good portion of salad. It was what my body had been craving for the past 9 days. I also had a steak and potato dish. I did order the squid ink pasta, but it never arrived (the service was not the best). The food is not traditional fare. They are a little more creative and innovative here. It is a very good place to eat

Yelp
Solid tapas place. Following our guide, we ordered the rascacielos (a tower with salmon, aubergine, tomatoes and goat cheese) and were not disappointed! Imaginative and affordable cuisine. The service was correct and the location is great.

Yelp
Easily the best meal I've had in Spain! The foie gras with vanilla is extraordinary and the creamy bulgar wheat is heaven. Can't go wrong here :)

Yelp
While other Yelpers are raving about this place - I think the food was simply ok. I went at an off hour (to escape the ridiculous heat) but I wouldn't think that would make much of a difference since the tapas are prepared to order. I have the bacalao and the beef. The bacalao was good, but I prefer the one at Bodega dos de Mayo, and the beef was above average, but not spectacular. A good spot if you're on that side of the city though.

Yelp
Vineria San Telmo happened to be two blocks from our hotel and thanks to Yelp we decided to stop for dinner. They had a waitlist, of course but we were seated within 5 minutes as most people were finishing up their dinner. English speaking wait staff and menu. Not much to be said for ambiance, it is very casual pub-like on the inside, and the outside tables are next to a busy street and parking garage entrance, underneath some trees. What they lack in charm they make up for with innovative asian fusion tapas and very low prices. All tapas were sized well above what you get at other places. Drinks are very small! Sangria was tasty, not too sweet and served with cinnamon sticks and chunks of fruit, a nice touch, but again, small. They only give you about a quarter of a glass of wine, so save your $$$ for the food. The warm red cabbage mascarpone and blue cheese salad was sort of weird, a bit bland but it was huge and a much needed serving of vegetables. The squid ink pasta seemed a crowd favorite but I found the wasabi pesto too spicy and the pasta was otherwise bland. It would have been nice to have more than one scallop. The seared tuna on a bed of wakame salad was tasty. I really liked the marinade and smoky flavor of the tuna, although it was a bit chewy. The wakame salad was lovely, rich in sesame flavor. The absolute and unexpectedly so winner of the evening was the bulghur risotto. The bulghur was actually whole wheat berries, not that it made a difference. It was a heavenly bowl of soft and creamy whole grains. I couldn't get enough. Last but not least, you must finish your meal with the chocolate cake. They have different kinds, like a three layer chocolate cake and a chocolate mousse cake. I went for the simple dark chocolate cake as per our waiters recommendation. It didn't look like much but my goodness, that was one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. It had rich dark chocolate flavor, not too sweet but at the same time it was airy, fluffy, moist and mousse-like in texture. Much like flourless chocolate cake.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on the recommendation of our hotel and was not disappointed. In fact, this was one of the best meals we had on our tour of Spain, and for sure in all of Sevilla! We shared several of the small plates and had a really nice time sitting outside on the patio. Service was indifferent, as it can often be in Spain, but the food was fantastic and we had a great time. Highly Recommended!
